Indian Summer Illusion: New residents, New villain, New anniversary [Video open/Action closed]
A [Video/Open to all]
[Mavis is sitting by the lake in Fayren.]
August is a great month of the year, isn't it?
[She sounds dreamy, and she might be blushing a little.]
I would have liked to be able to tell him that.
[She suddenly realizes the feed is open. She blinks and then simply smiles.] I've heard people celebrate anniversaries by offering something that corresponds to the number of years. Like... 50 years corresponds to gold, 60 years correspond to diamonds,... But I couldn't find a book about it.
Could one of you help me figure out what 3 years mean?
B [Text message - Private to Fayren's deputies + Moon Knight]
I believe you all saw this. Qubine, the villain in question is the guy who made the recent anonymous posts against heroes and guardians. I wanted to inform you that Aizawa - and probably some of his students - is going to be moving to Fairy Haven, for his protection. This means we need to be careful and keep an eye out for this villain.
According to the information I could gather, he's a human male, he has light blue hair and a disembodied hand covering his face. Though I suspect it's mostly a way to hide his true identity when actin as a villain, so he might not wear the hand all the time. Let me know if you notice any new arrival who'd match this description.
C [Action - Open to all Fairy Haven's residents/employees/regulars and to Aizawa, Bakugou and whoever they decide to bring with them]
[Mavis is waiting by the entrance of Fairy Haven. She's watching the horizon intently. Suddenly, she claps her hands happily and turns around.]
Mira! Erza! I think I see them! Want to come with me and show them their new 'classroom' and their beds in the dorms? Tatlyn and Zeref, you're welcome to come too.
[Though she's not sure Zeref will want to.]
[[Edit OOC note: feel free to threadjack any action thread you want.]]

Aizawa watched as Zeref approached him, studying him, trying to piece together what kind of person this guy was. He had a knack with observing people, mostly kids. Aizawa's expression didn't change, he still looked like some guy who needed a pillow.
Well, he wasn't exactly a guild member as well, but there was a reason why Zeref stayed.
He didn't know if Zeref and Mavis even came from the same world, only speculated. When Zeref asked a question, Aizawa didn't hesitate to respond.]
Nothing.
[He shrugged, which was true. If anything was posted in the network regarding relationships, that was another story. Although, he did remembered some of Zeref's comments posted back when Bakugou was trying to tame a dragon... or something. Damn kids.]
Was there a reason she would?
[Please don't tell him relationship, he wouldn't care.]

I would have thought so, but I'll assume that there is an equally valid reason why she didn't and will not overrule her decision.
{ No, it's not that. He's never considered it anyone's business but their own, and the only reason he told Erza and Mirajane was so that they wouldn't be too shocked to find him here and start a fight. Both of them were surprisingly understanding, and that should have been his first clue as to what happened in the future of their world. }
I spend most of my time studying the magic of this world, as well as the magic from other worlds. I understand that you, yourself have a unique ability. The ability to cancel out the effects of your world's equivalent to magic. Hypothetically speaking, is there a limit to what you can or can't nullify?

[He simply comments. This is the man who goes by rationality. Maybe it wasn't important or, perhaps he would learn in a later date. For now, he kept it in the back of his mind.]
I'm not sure how you acquire magic from your world, but where I'm from, quirks lie dormant until we reach a certain age. It manifests and becomes our own at that age. [A small sigh.] And not everyone owns a quirk.
Hypothetically, yes, but the limit to what varies. It's a strong quirk, but I imagine like any 'magic' there are drawbacks.
[Aizawa didn't mind sharing much of his own quirk, only what is capable of. Most of his world knew about his quirk so it was no different here.]

{ Just as Zeref thought, then. He knew it was probably too good to be true. Just 'canceling' the Curse with typical forms of magic nullification was probably the first thing he tried. }
So it is safe to assume that it cannot override the will of the gods themselves, in the form of a divine curse?
no subject
[Magic was a choice as quirks were random. Just as most of the stories from his world. He can't help but noticed Zeref questioned the same as Mavis did. It was enough to bring his attention.]
Hn... [He pondered for a moment with a small sigh. To stop a God huh... It almost had taken him back on his previous mission rescuing the young girl with a dangerous quirk.]
I cannot confirm if I haven't done it myself to a being like that. Logically speaking, it immobilizes the user's quirk for period of time, the curse unchanged.
My apologies.

Don't worry about it. It was likely a pipe dream, anyway. To be perfectly honest, it has been easier to accept here than in my own world. Both Mavis and I have reached the conclusion that the influence of the god in question is far weaker in this world than in our own. I suppose that is the best either of us could have hoped for.
no subject
It's better than nothing. [He shrugged, and he didn't know much. He didn't have to worry about beings such as Gods. But... maybe one villain came close to resembling one like that, only cause he had multiple quirks.]
What some calls a curse where I'm from depends on the quirks. Some quirks are easy to live with while you have certain quirks that makes life more difficult. The most logical thing to do is to adapt and control it. Use it, don't let it use you.
[Harsh, honest, and helpful advice? Don't even get him started with his quirk.]
no subject
I've likely already said too much. What Mavis chooses to do or share in her own guild is her prerogative, but all I ask is for privacy.
no subject
Fine. But if I find something you're looking for, I'll pass it to you.
[He began to move, believed the conversation was over, unless Zeref had anything else to say, now was the time.]
Then do whatever you want with it.
