Indian Summer Illusion: New residents, New villain, New anniversary [Video open/Action closed]
A [Video/Open to all]
[Mavis is sitting by the lake in Fayren.]
August is a great month of the year, isn't it?
[She sounds dreamy, and she might be blushing a little.]
I would have liked to be able to tell him that.
[She suddenly realizes the feed is open. She blinks and then simply smiles.] I've heard people celebrate anniversaries by offering something that corresponds to the number of years. Like... 50 years corresponds to gold, 60 years correspond to diamonds,... But I couldn't find a book about it.
Could one of you help me figure out what 3 years mean?
B [Text message - Private to Fayren's deputies + Moon Knight]
I believe you all saw this. Qubine, the villain in question is the guy who made the recent anonymous posts against heroes and guardians. I wanted to inform you that Aizawa - and probably some of his students - is going to be moving to Fairy Haven, for his protection. This means we need to be careful and keep an eye out for this villain.
According to the information I could gather, he's a human male, he has light blue hair and a disembodied hand covering his face. Though I suspect it's mostly a way to hide his true identity when actin as a villain, so he might not wear the hand all the time. Let me know if you notice any new arrival who'd match this description.
C [Action - Open to all Fairy Haven's residents/employees/regulars and to Aizawa, Bakugou and whoever they decide to bring with them]
[Mavis is waiting by the entrance of Fairy Haven. She's watching the horizon intently. Suddenly, she claps her hands happily and turns around.]
Mira! Erza! I think I see them! Want to come with me and show them their new 'classroom' and their beds in the dorms? Tatlyn and Zeref, you're welcome to come too.
[Though she's not sure Zeref will want to.]
[[Edit OOC note: feel free to threadjack any action thread you want.]]

C - Action, OTA
The only things she's brought to keep over here are things that could fit in a small locker. A binder, note paper, writing supplies, a water bottle, and other things that might be essential for the classroom portion of training.
She greets the first person she sees with a pleasant smile.]
Hi! Are there lockers or anywhere that I can store some of this?
Action forever
[Mirajane is balancing a tray of dirty dishes in one hand as she'd just finished clearing off one of the bar room's tables. Being bartender, waitress, and hostess she was quite used to greeting people at the door and was all too happy to help a friendly face.]
I do have some storage chests in the back, I could probably give you the key to one of them if you'd like. Are you one of Aizawa's students, or a new guild member?
Action forever
[She looks at the tray of dirty dishes.]
Do you want a hand with carrying those?
no subject
[As if to prove her point she balances the tray on one finger for a few moments before letting it rest back on the rest of her finger tips again.]
Why don't you follow me and I'll show you the storage chests.
[There was a hallway to the side and behind the bar where Mirajane was walking towards, and after she placed the the tray of dishes on the bar for the time being, she beckoned her on towards the storage room where the chests were kept.]

[She follows along, taking in her surroundings. She might have presented the gravity chamber her mother created here as a possible training ground, but as it is, it's intended to be mostly private. The only reason she even told Bakugou about it was because he was posing as a member of the Brief family for a while. It would be weird for a Brief to not know about what was available at Capsule Corp.]
Will guild members be helping with our training alongside Mr. Aizawa?
no subject
I'm not certain if we'll be teaching alongside you, but if Mister Aizawa wants our assistance or if Master Mavis requests it I certainly wouldn't mind offering my expertise. I'm not sure how much of mage guild work coincides with being a super hero, but I am one of Fairy Tail's S class mages and teachers.
[She lead Bulla into the storage room which mostly had liquor and non perishable foods, but there were also several large crates and chests. One chest Mirajane pulled out and blew the dust off of, as well as grabbing a ring of keys from near the doorway.]
The Fairy Haven guild hall has been here a lot longer than I have, and used to house quite a number of people several years ago. I heard even our guild Master Makarov was here once, but there aren't neearly as many people here as back then so most of these storage chests haven't seen much use in a while.
[Fiddling with keys, fiddling with keys, which key is... aha! With a few clicks, Mirajane opens the chest to reveal that despite the layer of dust that had been on top, the inside was remarkably clean.]
You can put your belongings in here and hold onto this key.

[There's also the possibility of some of the bad guys from her world showing up...and given how abruptly people can disappear, well. She might as well try to get as strong as she can just in case.
She takes the offered key and tucks it in a zip-up pocket in her wallet.]
Thank you. So...is magic something you're born with on your world, or is it something that anyone can learn?
no subject
[Now you have her utmost attention.]
Magic is something that almost anyone could learn in our world. It takes a certain amount of belief and faith, almost like prayer or meditation, but anyone could learn to do it. It's not something you're born knowing how to do, but something that can be taught or developed through self discovery.
no subject
[She's hoping that with all of Aizawa's experience helping students develop their quirks that he'll be able to offer insight.]
Interesting. They taught magic at the military school I went to.
no subject
Hi Bulma! [Except she mistook you for someone else. Blame it on your hair color.] Oh, sorry... You're not...
Anyway, I'm Mavis. Welcome to Fairy Haven!
I take it you're one of Mr Aizawa's students?
no subject
Close. I'm Bulma's daughter, Bulla. I take almost entirely after her, looks-wise. It's nice to meet you, Mavis.
[She nods at the question.]
That's right. Thank you for letting us train here.
no subject
Speaking of Bulma,...] I've been meaning to contact your mother and ask her how the restoration of the book she found went. Do you know? Zeref and I were sorry we couldn't help her more with that.
[She just smiles good-naturedly.] Not a problem, really. Fairy Haven is a guild hall. It's meant for young mages to train and learn how to control their skills. It can't be that different from hero training.
no subject
[And while she'd like to get to spend more time with her mother, even just having her here is nice.]
I've never done hero training before, to be honest. I went to military school for a couple of years, though.
no subject
Did you? Did you learn some combat techniques or how to use weapons, then?
no subject
[It's not like she was particularly good at using magic, anyway. A more magically talented friend practiced with her and helped her get a passing grade in the class.]
no subject
Hand to hand combat can come in very handy, though. I think it's a very useful thing to learn.
no subject
[She produces a little orb of energy in her hand only a little larger than a candle's flame. It's not enough to do anything except feel tingly to anyone who might touch it.]
Admittedly, I picked it in part because I already knew the basics from back home. I wanted to graduate as quickly as possible.
no subject
Understandable. And if you already know the basics, you'll be able to help the other students graduate faster, too.
no subject
[Goku and Trunks far more so than her, but half-saiyan genetics still give her an advantage over fully human fighters when it comes to ki and natural strength.]
I'd give it a try, for sure. If it's not that world's magic, it might not have the same results, but at least I know how to work with a type of energy and have worked with magic before.
no subject
Different worlds can be a lot more similar than they seem to be at first. This world, especially Fairen, is full of magic.
