She's dressed casually, wearing jeans, a white top and a black leather jacket. She's hesitant, as if she wants to say something, but she's trying to choose her words carefully.]

So... There's no way to get home, huh.

[There is tension in her shoulders as she tries to relax, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly. As angry as she is, and she is angry, she knows losing her temper won't solve everything. Surprisingly, she has the voice of her pseudo-brother in her head and it's kind of calming her. For now.]

I... I've been to, uh, that place. Whatever. They answered my questions, I guess. [She rolled her eyes at that.]

I am General Grievous, deputy Guardian of Nova City. I also live in Nova City, which is the most highly advanced in technology of all the areas here. You may go where you feel most at home.

All pertinent information will have been provided upon your entry with maps and pamphlets. It is not so unpleasant here and it is free from wars. There are, on occasion, disturbances but the Guardians shall deal with those should they arise.

[She forces a smile, trying to decide how she felt about the man. The jury was still out, that much was sure. She wasn't going to trust anyone until she had more information.]

It has been a year and a half.

There are no transports nor starships away from here.

However, there are ways to see your home again if you are willing to make sacrifices to make what they call a sub-archway. I have had one of these created. A pathway to Kalee. It may be an echo and not the truth but it is a decent enough replica to visit and soothe such a desire.

Do not think that I have become complacent from my words. What I have left behind was a devious lie. Not my world, but other people from my galaxy who had manipulated and caused much destruction. I have discovered many truths about them and myself here and this world offers much for those willing to explore its options.

Get a job and settle in mostly. But then again, some of us have nothing to go home to so we don't mind as much. Either way, it's at least a way to survive here until a way home can be found.

He smiles and shrugs mildly instead. ]

You could stage a protest or a sit-in, maybe a hunger strike, but I doubt it would change anything. The best thing to do is find something to keep you busy. Something worth doing if it's possible. It's not a bad place, but it can be pretty hard to feel like your life is meaningful when you've just been given proof you have almost no control over it.

[In spite of everything, she smiles. He's cute and funny, clearly trying to cheer her up despite the situation and she's appreciative of it. Her head nods and she understands, even if it's still hard to wrap her mind around it.]

[Anger and frustration flicker quickly across her features before she tries to be polite again.]
