[The screen blips on and a woman can be seen in it. She's not smiling, but she's not as angry as some either. Mostly, she appears to be neutral. She's dressed casually, wearing jeans, a white top and a black leather jacket. She's hesitant, as if she wants to say something, but she's trying to choose her words carefully.]
So... There's no way to get home, huh.
[There is tension in her shoulders as she tries to relax, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly. As angry as she is, and she is angry, she knows losing her temper won't solve everything. Surprisingly, she has the voice of her pseudo-brother in her head and it's kind of calming her. For now.]
I... I've been to, uh, that place. Whatever. They answered my questions, I guess. [She rolled her eyes at that.]
Now what?

[The masked face on the screen does not look very friendly, although his words are fairly polite, if direct and to the point.]
Re: [Video]
I...
[She doesn't smile back at him either.]
Does it matter where I move?

Okay.
Why are you where you are? What made you choose it?

[Barely has her face in camera view. Don't mind her, she's shy.]
...May I ask what you did before?
Re: Video;
[She squints, making sure she's not missing something.]
I was a jill of all trades. I'm good at a lot of things.

Re: [Video]
Why not?

Re: [Video]
[Though in fairness, she wonders if those creatures should be afraid of her?]
Thank you for the tip.

video;
[Guess whose sticking to her super happy and positive form for this one. This blonde woman who appears on the feed with a smile on her face.]
But as for what now... I guess it depends on what goal you have. What do you want to do?
Re: video;
[A small sigh slips out as she seems resigned to being stuck here.]
Have to do something, right?
video;
[And in her case, having to do a lot of things just to keep up appearances of the forms she has chosen. Don't want people to think two people might, in fact, be the same person. She needs to test out what works.]
And if that is the case, you do what makes you happy.

He smiles and shrugs mildly instead. ]
You could stage a protest or a sit-in, maybe a hunger strike, but I doubt it would change anything. The best thing to do is find something to keep you busy. Something worth doing if it's possible. It's not a bad place, but it can be pretty hard to feel like your life is meaningful when you've just been given proof you have almost no control over it.
Re: [Video]
Nailed it in one. How long you been here?
Re: [Video]
Two months. Long enough to get a job, a place to live, and make a few friends. Name's Sam.

None that we know of, no. But this world isn't so bad and while you are here, time freezes in your universe.
Re: [Video]
[She blinks, staring at him a little harder. It's not that he's an android. She just puts him on par with a Sentinal. It's what he said that really strikes her.]
What do you mean, time freezes?
[Video]
I meant that when you manage to return back to your world, things would be exactly as you left them.

And really, rather depends on you, doesn't it. Think of it as going on holiday, have some time to yourself, make some new friends, pick up a hobby, maybe run into someone from home with a little luck. What'd you usually do?

[She tries to smile in spite of herself.]
I was between jobs. My brother had a school. What do you do?

[He'd be lying a bit too hard even by his own standards if he pretended that's not getting to him.]
......here, though, well, try to help out where I can, at the school, the laboratories.
