Okay, I need something to occupy my brain before the boredom of the paperwork makes me shoot myself in the foot. What have you guys got planned for the month of spooks? I'm usually working the most during October, so the change of pace here has been weird to get used to.
[Private to Aizawa, Bakugou, Monoma, and Izuku]
Aizawa mentioned a couple of people from his world showed up so I figured I'd introduce myself. I'm Dante, current guardian of Attleton, and I don't know what Aizawa has said about me or what I can do but, I'm no hero. I'm no villain either, but the idea of being a hero doesn't really sit well with me.
[Action at Devil May Cry]
[Dante can be found at his shop behind a mountain of paperwork as he works on proposals and all for the Colosseum project. However, upon hearing someone approaching he will glance up from his paperwork.]
You'd better have brought an offering of whiskey when entering my lair.

Sakuya caught Lucifer easily, turning it once over in her hands. It didn't really do much just yet. Then again, Sakuya hadn't tried it on yet.
"Knowing as much as possible and working with a weapon are separate, Dante. Guiding a weapon and allowing it to become an extension is the basics of most weapon training. Especially when it comes to those requiring a great deal of finesse."
As she spoke she carefully brushed her hair back, frowning a little in contemplation before swinging the devil arm up and over her head. It took over the last stretch, attaching to her back, the arms extending.
Sakuya's eyes turned instantly read as her watch began to crackle, waves of turbulent space-time rippling around her. She shivered, hands tightening into fists, her expression hazy. She was having to fight with it a bit like she had with Ifrit. Though, admittedly, with less smoke.
"That is... Different. Give me a moment."

"You okay? Everything still where it should be?"

"I think it's waiting for me to lower my guard. Perhaps it does not realize my soul is anchored independently of my will." Her eyes brightened. Lucifer shivering some. It was obvious how much her time with the other devil arms had improved her ability to focus and control them.
Reaching down she casually drew a sword, swinging it once and turning it over in her hand. "Far lighter than I expected."
In an instant, time shivered and Dante found himself surrounded by several of them. They inched forward and stopped momentarily before crashing in as they were supposed to. Sakuya didn't quite yet grasp how to manage Lucifer's ability to stall in the air with her own time stop. But it was a start.

Dante was a tad impressed with just how many swords she produced in such a small time, and the placement wasn't bad for someone who wasn't using Lucifer's powers to place them. Just as the swords began to launch forward, however, Dante gives Nevan a strong strum, causing a column of electricity and bats to erupt around him, intercepting the swords. This was why he'd picked Nevan after all. She was effectively a direct counter to Lucifer's power.
"Not bad, for a beginner."

"Do not tease me, Dante. You know full well what I can do given an hour or so." She was a bit snippier than usual it seemed. With a flick of her wrists she produced more swords. Three in each hand. She really was getting the hang of it.
She threw these without stopping time, the angle not quite perfect. The swords were large and awkward to throw. They lagged in the air for a moment before homing in on Dante. She tried again... And again. Her accuracy improving each time and kind enough to put a small pause between her throws so he could prep his strum.
Kind of.
Sakuya was falling into a little bit of a battle trance, like she usually did; relying more on her muscle memory and instincts. Thrown weapons really were second nature to her. But she was also smiling, her pace picking up more and more with each throw.
"I think I am beginning to understand this rhythm."

As the swords came flying at him he ducked and weaved between some of them, launching into an intense riff conjuring clouds of electrified bats to intercept the blades he didn't go out of his way to dodge, making those swords explode on the beats of the song he played.
Battle trances were another thing that Nevan was good at, specifically guiding people to a rhythm she dictated, and Dante was hoping to take full advantage of that. After all, part of Lucifer's strength was its unpredictability, and the faster Sakuya got used to it, the better.

Dante might catch a glimpse of Sakuya's face through the chaos. Brief moments of presence as the maid allowed her attacks to play out in singular moments. Grinning widely with an oppressive aura and scarlet eyes. It really was no wonder people mistook her for a demon. The look wasn't completely foreign to Dante. Sakuya was having fun. Maybe a little too much considering the circumstances but fun none the less.
He was getting into one of the solos when she changed things up. Appearing several paces away she took a moment to watch him or, rather, the lightning. She was panting a little from the exertion. Knife appearing in one hand she twirled it between her fingers as she drew a blade from Lucifer with the other. She brought the weapons together, making a show of drawing the shining silver down and back up the devil weapon, picking up crimson energy.
Looking at Dante, her intention was clear moments before she acted, bringing the knife down hard and cascading sparks and a crimson shockwave over the ground as she launched the knife at him. Sakuya followed it up with several similarly charged weapons and more of Lucifer's swords.

Though, admittedly, her danmaku was flashier than her normal combat.
Sakuya was quick, leaning to the side and forward to avoid the strike, rolling her body under herself. She was getting harder to follow, quicksilver offering no aid. The pressure of time was suffocating. She drew a knife and a sword, the blades sparking as she once again dragged her knife along Lucifer's sword as her body snapped up faster than Dante could react trailing red and distorting visible space for a brief instant. She had cleaved him low, the weapon slicing from inside his knee upwards across his thigh, across his forearm, and nicking his shoulder and bicep. The cut was clean. As clean as Yamato. Almost painless. At least until Lucifer's energy exploded leaving the wound ragged.
Sakuya used the momentum to slide back into a combat stance once again, her grin wild until- she hesitated. And her smile vanished, visible concern washing over her features which quickly grew into panic.
"Oh gods. Dante. I'm sorry!" Already she had dropped her weapons, undoing her apron as she hurried forward to see if she could help.
