Okay, I need something to occupy my brain before the boredom of the paperwork makes me shoot myself in the foot. What have you guys got planned for the month of spooks? I'm usually working the most during October, so the change of pace here has been weird to get used to.

Aizawa mentioned a couple of people from his world showed up so I figured I'd introduce myself. I'm Dante, current guardian of Attleton, and I don't know what Aizawa has said about me or what I can do but, I'm no hero. I'm no villain either, but the idea of being a hero doesn't really sit well with me.

[Action at Devil May Cry]

[Dante can be found at his shop behind a mountain of paperwork as he works on proposals and all for the Colosseum project. However, upon hearing someone approaching he will glance up from his paperwork.]

You'd better have brought an offering of whiskey when entering my lair.

[ Is this the sort of advice a certain twin of Dante's and probable father of his would give in regards to handling the inner demon when it begins to claw its way to the surface? A mystery for now. However, Nero looks up to Dante with a rather unsure expression. ]

Yeah, but you're not used to it.

Devil Trigger is a hell of a thing, takes either a lot of will power of a near death experience to pull it out and once you do, it's a fight to keep things under control. Think about it, when you first activated it, you did so in a situation that had an unending stream of mooks lining up to be beat down.

It was the same for me, and it took me a while to get full control after the fighting died down. But, the more you use it, the more used to it you get.

So... what? It's restless or something? That what you're telling me?

[ And just itching to take control of him? Talk about split personalities. ]

Is that why I'm tired? Using all that energy to keep it under control? Or is it draining me to try and take control?

[ Sort of sucks he never had a father figure around to explain any of this but, honestly, Dante's going to be his best shot at even coming close to understanding it in a way where he doesn't have to just try and guess what the problems are. ]

Not so great to know when it's impulse reaction seems to be to want power.

Probably a bit of both. Think of it like an organ transplant. Your body is trying to reject your demon half, and your demon half is trying to reject your human half, but because demons never do anything half way, it manifests like this.

Either way, blowing off some steam like this can only help, even if it's just getting more used to what you can do and how to control it.

Great. Here I thought it was puberty all over again.

[ Jokes aside, he pinches the bridge of his nose before he turns to look to Dante. Well, he can't say he's ever against the idea of (attempting to) getting to show Dante up in combat and the thought does stir something within. ]

So, what? Whenever I feel like that side of me is getting too cocky, come over and let loose on you?

[ Didn't he say he's already had to rebuild his shop twice or something? ]
