But! I am already a skeleton, si? So, why do I need to be 'scary'? Enough people have screamed to prove that.

[He gives a little grunt and hefts himself out of what appears to be a river, a bony fish tail coming into view as he settles on the bank. There are beautiful, colorful marks all along the fin. Spirals of bright green lined with petal like shapes of gold and purple.

At his waist are a pair of extra fins, just as skeletal but the bones are a completely purple.]

Can someone explain? Por favor?

Oi, that was confusing. But he does grin at least and gives her a small shrug.]

Halloween also has to do with dressing up as things you're not, and this place seems to have taken that several steps farther and it was ever meant to be taken. Because of course it would.

[Lea's normally green eyes have been replaced by red irises and bright yellow sclera, while his hair flickers and shifts like real fire on his head. He looks very annoyed at the situation.]

It's just that this mess has turned me into... I guess some kind of fire spirit, instead of just a human who can use magic. And apparently that comes with making me a lot more temperamental than usual, so sorry in advance if I snap at you or get mad over stupid things while this is going on.

I've seen a talking skeleton, and plenty of mermaids, but I can't say I've ever seen a talking skeleton mermaid...

Did you happen to eat any unusual fruits? If you had one that tasted like garbage, that could be a reason. [Jinbei's fairly new to this place, so he's just going by how things would work back home.]

I know that mermen tails split into legs as they grow older, but not the other way around... This is a rather unusual situation that you're in.
