Unstoppable force, meet immovable object.
Who: Gamagori, Satsuki, Spirit, Maka
What: Spirit and Maka demonstrate what a Weapon and Miester combo can do.
When: 8/16
Where: Near Genessia Public School
Notes: Some violence
It was a short enough drive, really. It was hard to believe how long it had been since he was last at the football field behind the public school. So much had happened, so much had changed, and he had grown quite a bit, himself.
"We're here," he said, grinning inwardly as he saw the telltale glow that signified Satsuki's presence. "We'll be using this field for our demonstration. I will be your opponent, and I would like you to use your full power, so Satsuki-sama can get a more accurate idea of your capabilities."
He took his place on the field, turning to face Spirit and Maka, Satsuki's glow making his already massive shadow seem even more imposing.

hi. let's pretend this narration makes sense
"I'm ready when you are."
It wasn't odd to him, transforming to work with a meister he had little experience with. It matters little, he realized: he trusted his daughter implicitly. There is a momentary flash of light before he transforms, knowing his daughter had the skill to catch him. Now, instead of the tall redhead that had been before Gamagori was a thin steel crossed scythe.

"Sir, I hope you're strong, because we fight to kill at the Academy."
She didn't mean to say it as a taunt, just as a general warning, she has no reason to doubt Gamagori's strength (besides that she barely knows the man).
Well, it looks like she has no choice. Maka reaches out her soul to the Weapon in her hands, instead of the usual shout of "Soul Resonance!" she chooses to not announce that it's happening, though the telltale sign of a soul link happens regardless. A form that looks like wings emerges from the girl's back, translucent and glowing, then it spreads out across the field--muting the shadow and light for a moment before it disperses. It wasn't a show of threat, not really, but he wanted to see a demonstration of full power, that's exactly what he was going to get from the father/daughter duo.

"Don't worry about me. After all, I am Satsuki-sama's impenetrable shield!"
With that exclamation the stars adorning his color shone brilliantly and his clothes seemed to explode in a cloud of stars. He maintained the intense look on his face, despite the brief nudity as his uniform reformed around him, though this time making him even taller, with a build that made him look like a walking tank wrapped in cloth.
"Behold the Three Star Goku Uniform, Shackle Regalia mk. 2!"

"We need to be fast, but careful. I'm not sure how well we can defend against him like this."

A cliched thing to say, sure, but that is genuinely how Maka would approach fighting something as big as Gamagori--confuse and knock down. One would be amazed at how much the advantage is changed when someone gets knocked on their butt.
Fast is never a problem for Maka, she breaks into a dash immediately--appearing as though she's going to take a direct swing with the blade at Gamagori. She doesn't actually intend to attack him directly, she's not stupid--that strange suit he's wearing is clearly designed for defense and direct hits would do damage to nobody but herself, as well as put her in unnecessary proximity to the opponent. But as long as he thinks she's dumb enough to directly attack him, it'll work to her advantage.

The punch is intended to see if disarming Maka would be a viable course of action, and as such the fist is aimed directly at the curved blade, attempting to knock it out of her hands.

Maka doesn't care of her dad would be upset with cursing, but she still does as she goes, stopping midstep to pivot and roll away from the fist. There's a clang! and some sparks, so whatever happened might have just barely brushed the blade--can't be too sure. Instead Maka thrusts the pole to the ground to launch herself up from her crouch and run underneath Gamagori's arm to his legs. Like Papa said, they need to move fast but be careful, yet surely the man won't stay bamboozled for long by the weaving tactic, she needs to keep thinking of what to do next.
Maybe circle back around him and launch the Witch Hunter? Would it even work with her dad, the attack when she used him last time was different from the Witch Hunter with Soul. But still, fast and brutal is the object of the game--fight to the full, fight to kill.

Maka does not like to be touched, however she can thank her dad for giving her practice of avoiding his bear hugs all her life. She breaks into a roll forward underneath Gamagori and does just as she was planning to do--launches a Witch Hunter at the behemoth as he's leaned forward trying to catch her. To Gamagori it would appear as though Spirit's blade is glowing and growing, shooting off a blade of light almost as big as he is.
However, it's not exactly behind him and more in the vicinity of his groin. Not that Maka can see that in the flashing light, surging power, and her own mind clicking off as it enters into survival mode. That time where she thinks of nothing but beating her opponent until she sees them battered and bleeding, no matter how battered she gets in the process.

Besides, she really would not want to miss a demonstration like this one; many of the denizens posses unique powers and she doesn't get to see many of them in action. Hopefully that will change in time, but for now Satsuki's normally stone expression is broken to show some amusement- Maka's more ferocious than she looks.
these guys say stupid shit when they're fighting what even
Honestly. Spirit had other places he'd prefer to be than... well, than where Maka had just put him. And though he had been aware of tuning his wavelength in to hers to increase the damage dealt, he still wasn't exactly pleased to end up in Gamagori's crotch--and frankly, he cringed a bit for the guy.
"Let's end this quick!"
He could sense even still the slight fear in her soul. No, fear wasn't the right word; it was more an instinctual survival instinct that could cloud her better judgment. He'd seen it happen before when he'd watched her fight with Soul. He had the advantage of being able to slightly manipulate their resonance to ground her to reality. He hoped it helped keep her actions clear and precise. Gamagori was not out to kill them, after all. Maybe squish, but not kill.
They'd fit right in with Gama and his whip of love.
Once he was airborne, he grabbed a chunk of the ground with one hand, twisting to face Maka, and then using that leverage to both bring him back to Earth, as well as amplifying the force of another punch aimed at the weapon.
Maka thinks men have severe problems and must be stopped. Whip of love is proof of this
It's then and finally then that Maka allows a cocky smile to come to her face. After experiencing her reserved demeanor for the time they've spent together, an actual taunt might come as a surprise, but the message speaks loud and clear: "You can't disarm a Meister that easily, friend." He and Satsuki wanted to see how Demon Weapons and their Meisters work, they'll get the unadulterated demonstration of it.
Speaking of...
"It would seem they possess a power on par with at least a two-star Goku Uniform, Satsuki-sama. But now, we'll see how they fare against the full might of one of Honnouji Academy's Elite four!"
He offers a short bow before turning back to face Maka, the hand behind his back, shooting outward, palm open, as a large thorny whip shot from his palm.
This icon has nothing to do with anything
Never mind the blowhard statement of "Elite Four"--which the man is apparently a part of--all it takes is one powerful swing to slice at the whip as it approaches. That can't be all, there has to be some trick...some trick that she can't let him use, evident by Maka's stepping to the side to move from directly in front of him.
"Papa, I hope you have something stronger than Witch Hunter, because we're going to need it to crack this guy's armor."
Yay for random icons!
He may not have been able to defeat Harime Nui with this uniform, even alongside the other Devas, but he would not lose again. Especially not when Satsuki was expecting great things of him.

Then--stopping short of his palm about to make impact, Maka jumps straight up in the air, the winged orb of power surrounding herself once again as a warning for what's about to come and partly as a shield in Spirit's contribution.
This attack is much bigger than before, much brighter, the mere sight and heat of it painful even in distance. This time, it is announced by a primal scream of "DEMON HUNTER!" before all sound blanks out around Maka.
She's not done after that, not by any means, but spinning through the air and trying not to land too oddly on her feet is all Maka is concerned with at the moment. There's an almost feral air about her as she waits for Gamagori's next move, panting but not exhausted, singed and cut but not in pain (too much adrenaline surging through her to concentrate on pain), her eyes are focused fully on her opponent--reaching out and scanning his soul for signs of what happens next. It seems regardless of Gamagori's appearance and his challenge to her, he's not a bad person--duty-bound and loyal, determined to protect those important to him. Rather like her, except she's not giant or a man.
"You have a good soul, Mr. Gamagori!" she calls out. "I can see it right now, I'd trust you to use my father!"

When he lowered his gauntlets, the visor over his face opened too, revealing a rather confused look. He wasn't sure what had happened, and in fact almost feared he'd gone too far and hurt her. But when he saw her standing, still in a ready stance, as if confident the attack had worked as intended, he just... had to cock his head. Surely if it were just a light trick intended to distract an enemy she would've struck while his arms were protecting his head and gone for his legs, but... no. This was different.
"...If you require a break, we can end the demonstration here."
no subject
Really, it's strange how quickly she's able to drop the soldier demeanor and go back to seeming like a regular teenager. The energy is draining out, but she feels the humming of souls around her and it's all right--actually, odd thing, Gamagori's soul still isn't bigger than Lord Death's. Then again, that's comparing a god and a human.
"But you know, Papa isn't my Weapon, it's not exactly fair to ask a Meister to fight to their fullest with a Weapon they're not even partnered with. Papa may be able to be passed around, but I'm not." And she puts him at rest across her shoulders, cocking her head in a similar fashion to Gamagori. "This is about the average for what Demon Weapons can do, though. I hope that was informative."
no subject
She'd really rather not.
Regardless she continues to observe the demonstration, and can't help but notice something is off.. Something she can't immediately put her finger on until Maka mentions that the weapon isn't hers. "If that is the case, then I believe I have seen enough." says the regal lady. From rather close, as at this point she had already made her way to the field with her sheathed weapon in hand.
Eventually she stops by Ira's side with her usual stone expression and a sharp, almost judgmental gaze upon the twin-tailed meister. "I have likely already been introduced, but regardless I am Satsuki Kiryuin, Deputy Guardian of Nova City. That was a rather interesting demonstration, but of course I must ask where -your- weapon is."

He steps slightly to one side, turning so as to bow slightly as Satsuki approached, but not showing his back to Maka and Spirit. After all, Gama was as protective of Satsuki as Spirit was of Maka.

Spirit is eying Satsuki almost warily as he straightens his tie, uncertain of what to make of her.

This was incredible. Just incredible. This was the man who introduced himself as a weapon not too long ago to Jisho. That little girl seemed like a capable fighter as well - like Ganko and Koganei. But the two others were also very interesting, specially the larger man. He'd appreciate having a turn at the larger man at some point, but for now, he disappears back into the shadows to tell Master Kurei about what he has witnessed.
[Not here] wow eavesdropping rude!
