[Video & Action] Backdated to Nov 10th, evening. Content warning.
[That rasping threat sends chill through Bulla’s body. Heart pounding rapidly, she takes out her device and turns on the video feed. She’s doing what she can to control her breath. Maybe if she times things just right, she can grab Shigaraki’s wrist and snap it before his powers rapidly decompose the flesh on her neck. The camera shows her at an odd angle for a moment, and the view is shaky, despite her best efforts to hide how frightened she is. Her voice, however, is defiant as she hands her phone over to him.]
Tomura Shigaraki lost his phone and thinks threatening to kill someone is a super awesome way to fix that problem. Here. Whatever. Knock yourself out.
Don’t flatter yourself kid.
[Shigaraki hands the device off to someone else that’s never seen on camera as the focus comes to settle on the hand-obscured face of the blue haired man.]
In my world, society is propped up on the backs of heroes. People with powers and abilities that society has deemed good and useful, while those not so lucky to be born gifted in ways that society accepts are expected to languish in the scraps of the chosen.
[As Shigaraki talks, Bulla starts looking for the opportunity to throw him off. Her eyes are darting around the room as she weighs her options. With those powers of his and his hand on her throat, one wrong move could kill her in a matter of seconds.]
And at the center of it all is the ‘pillar of peace and order.’ All Might. Because of All Might, the masses can go about their days, content in the feeling that if anything bad were to happen, All Might would save the day. People turn away from those that society tramples down, labeling them as villains. Well, I’m here to remind you all that nobody is safe.
[He pauses, gesturing to the camera that recenters on Bulla.]
In my time here, I’ve done my homework. There are a few people that have powers rivaling All Might, and this girl is one of them. As you can see, though, she doesn’t look too eager to fight me.
[He flexes the one finger next to her neck that isn’t quite touching her yet. Bulla eyes that finger warily now that the attention is back on her.]
But don’t get the wrong idea, I’m not out to kill anyone. Yet. No, I just want to drive home my point… To all you heroes out there; you’re not going to be able to stop me.
[Shigaraki moves directly behind Bulla, placing a hand on one shoulder while shifting the hand at her neck to the other, cracks forming in Bulla’s skin as soon as he makes contact with those shoulders.]
You bastAAAAAAAH!
[When Shigaraki moves, Bulla starts shifting position to fight back. Her attempts to escape and insult him are cut both short by searing, blinding pain. It tears into the flesh of her shoulders like acid, destroying muscle tissue as easily as one rips wet paper. Her breaths are rapid and shallow. She’s hyperventilating, unable to even find enough air to scream.]
To those who may be sympathetic to my cause, put out some feelers. I’ll find you. In the meantime, the clock is ticking, heroes. Whether this girl lives or dies is on your heads now.
[ As he pauses his speech, there are some explosions heard in the background.]
I’d hurry if I were you.
[ A hand reaches out to the camera and a moment later, the feed clicks off.]

Post Healing
[Had it been anyone or anything other than Shiguraki perhaps he could have handled it, but being that it was Shiguraki he couldn't see this as anything other but his fault. It was his fault because he hadn't been strong enough to kill All for One the first time. It was his fault not watching over Nana's son even from a distance so as to keep with his master's wishes. Had he done that--]
[--but it didn't matter now. Anything he could have done he hadn't done.]
[He finally stepped forward, dressed in the black suit he'd arrived in and his left hand notably splinted, bandaged and swollen, knocking twice on the open door.]
Please excuse the intrusion.

[Bulla's curious as to what happened to his hand, but it can wait. There's enough tension in his posture that she doesn't think that pretending that she's fine and being as cheerful and sociable as she can manage is going to work. Or that it's even appropriate for the moment.
Shigaraki had mentioned All Might by name shortly before hurting her. Several times. That probably has something to do with the formality right now.
The only assurance she can offer until he shares what's on his mind is the visual confirmation that she has, in fact, been healed. She's wearing a sleeveless shirt and yoga pants, because like hell she wants to be receiving visitors while wearing a hospital gown. Her shoulders, cracked with decay not too long ago, are pristine now.]

Bulla had invited him in though, so Trunks put the book aside. Moving out of his seat, and moving it closer for the new arrival. Man looked almost as bad as Bulla had, just without the visual damage...]
no subject
[He inclines his head briefly to the young man in the room who must have been a relative based on their resemblance and silently raises his hand in quiet refusal of the seat.]
I am relieved to see you doing so well, Ms. Brief. [Though the fact that she was healed did not excuse the fact that she had been drawn into this in the first place.]
I am not so naive as to think I must take responsibility each time a villain invokes my name to attack societal standing as a whole--but in the case of Tomura Shiguraki I must. This villain was born directly out of my shortcomings and failures as a hero and as the former Symbol of Peace. [He leans into a low bow.] Ms Brief, I humbly apologize for my negligence which has led to you being drawn into my world's troubles and to your injuries.
no subject
She stands up and approaches.]
I don't know what your history is with him, but please don't blame yourself for what happened. From everything I've heard about you, being compared to you in any way is an honour.
[She's seen glimpses of how much people she likes admire him, and even through the clear hate Shigaraki has of him and for heroes in general, his words painted the picture of a hero who'd managed more than an entire police force could.]
I threw myself into your world's troubles months before you arrived here. I was friends with Katsuki while he was here and there was an incident one day in August involving an arcade in Genessia City.
[Aizawa was the only other from UA she'd told about the incident until now, but it's a relevant story.]
Shigaraki provoked him, he lost his temper, and then Shigaraki tried to drop the arcade on him using his decay quirk on the wall. I happened to be nearby and I caught the roof as the building was collapsing. Katsuki evacuated civilians while I held up the roof. A couple of days later, Shigaraki made an anonymous post with a picture he took of Katsuki firing off an explosion at the arcade and tried to make people think Katsuki destroyed the arcade. I made a video post, gave my full name, and told everyone the truth.
[Then there's all the sassing she's done of Shigaraki since then, but this story is the most pertinent.]

As she said, it's not the first time Shigaraki's tried this. Bakugou wasn't well-regarded given his....way of dealing with people, but he was Bulla's friend. And I like to think, he was extremely misguided, but basically a good person.
We knew then though, that Bulla might be making herself a target--but there's been a lot of happening and he took us by surprise.
[Reaching up, Trunks raked a hand through his bangs in mild distress. He'd make his own apology to his sister later. Because he hadn't forgotten about Shigaraki, but had been worried about other threats like the brewing trouble in Everglades, or Zamasu.]
no subject
[All Might had gotten a summary Shiguraki's movements--or at least those they were aware of--from Aizawa the day he'd arrived and only nodded to the relay of the story.]
Young Bakugou still has much to learn and much room to grow--but yes, he is a good person. I have seen his unshakable determination first hand.
[He sighs heavily.]
Whether you agree or not, Shiguraki's existence as he is leads back to me. He is my responsibility... and I am no longer capable of taking care of that responsibility myself.
[But there was no point in going on like a broken record. He lifted his good hand and set his hand on the top of her head like he would one of his own students.]
I'm glad you're alright, Young Brief. It seems we have a healer here even more skilled than Recovery Girl back home. Do you even have a scratch left?
no subject
[She has a much higher tolerance for grumpy people than most do, and she's able to read between the lines when it comes to looking at people's actions versus their words.]
People will fight Shigaraki if it comes down to it. Including Trunks and I. What happened isn't anyone's fault except for Shigaraki. It's not your fault he's a creep, All Might.
[She already knows Trunks will stand up against people who hurt others, but there's a very pointed look when she says it's not anyone's fault.]
Not even one.
[She holds out her arms for inspection.]
Orihime's power is really amazing. She doesn't just heal you. She turns back time on the damage so it's like it never happened.
no subject
[He is studying her arms, looking for anything amiss--when the description of the healer's power strikes a chord. His head snaps up at that. Turns back time on damage...]
[And that name... Well he'll be damned... Orihime. Orihime Inoue. That was the name John had told him to visit on his very first day.]
That's... an incredible power...
no subject
[Trunks had only interacted with her a few times, but liked her and thought very well of her.]
I've talked with Mr. Aizawa before, and sparred once too. Like Bulla said, people will fight--and I'm well used to having to go up against odds that aren't favorable. But you and I can talk more some other time, if you want, Mr. All Might.
no subject
[Much as she's shaken from what happened, it's only made her more determined to succeed. Just to show that she can't be kept down by something like this.]
If I do win? I'm going to make Shigaraki go through every annoying and tedious part of the legal system when he's caught. It will be fair and super boring. Considering how much that November jack o'lantern complains about society? He'll hate it. He'll totally hate it.
[Spite may not be the best reason to want to win an election, but considering that she has every reason to want to kill Shigaraki, this is pretty tame as far as revenge plans go.]
1/2
[He looks to Bulla again, about to comment about the election when she goes into her plans for Shigaraki--]
2/2
[He regards Bulla again once he stops, still grinning. He drops his hand from his forehead, automatically running the back of his wrist against his chin without even thinking of it--it just becomes muscle memory when you're constantly coughing up blood]
I can't say that I can think of a better punishment, Brief, my girl.
no subject
Ohmygosh! All Might, you need a doctor way more than I do right now.
[Although once she starts thinking things through a little more, she realizes just how familiar it is to wipe blood from his face.]
...that's not a new condition, is it?
no subject
Now I am going to insist that you sit, Mr. All Might. You should be looked at too, and there's no reason you need to stand uncomfortably.
no subject
There's no need you two. I actually already have an appointment to look at this. [He lifts his splinted hand. Is someone probably going to need orthopedic surgery to fix this mess? Yes. Yes he is.] And no, Brief my girl, it's not a new condition. It's ultimately what caused me to retire. I've been living with it for over six years. It may be alarming but it's nothing to be overly concerned about.
[Unless he gets sick. THEN it's something to be overly concerned about.]
no subject
[Both of whom kept quite busy with their own projects, but Bulla knows neither of them would turn down a request for healing.]
Or you could see what kind of medical treatments Nova City has to offer. If they can make something like the holodeck, I'm pretty sure they can do something for a condition that makes you cough up blood.
no subject
I'll ask you this: do you know if she is able to re-grow organs? Because that is what's wrong. Basically anything I could live without was removed because of the damage.
[No stomach, no spleen, one lung, one kidney, over ten feet of intestine removed and everything held together by reconstructed ribs. It's a mess in there. It would be one thing to fix the damage, but if there's nothing left there to actually fix, what then?]
no subject
I'm not sure, but if anyone could with their powers, it would be Orihime.
[Healing her shoulders had been so quick, despite the severity of the damage. She'd been completely unable to move her arms due to the decay and now she could move them around freely as if they'd never been hurt. She has faith in her friend, but doesn't want to make guarantees, either.]
If she's not able to do it, I bet there are medical services in Nova City that could probably use your cells to artificially create organs that your body wouldn't reject.
[A process that would take far longer. Still, it's something that would mean he wasn't coughing up blood once it was finished.]
no subject
I can think of a few people capable of doing that kind of research even if there aren't medical services like that set up in Nova City.
no subject
Then I imagine I should request a meeting, if you would not mind the imposition. I would not feel right contacting her unannounced.
[For the rest he nods again, not wanting to admit that he wasn't confident that his body could honestly handle multiple transplant surgeries--but that would probably be where healing quirks, or powers, or whatever people here wanted to call them could still come in.]
no subject
[She looks to his hand.]
Rapunzel is a little easier to reach. I don't know what she could do for your internal organs, but I'm confident she could fix your hand.
(ooc: We can go with it not working out because of a few rounds of phone tag before Orihime disappeared?)
no subject
[Well, he wasn't quite sure what he was expecting coming here, but this was definitely a turn he wasn't expecting. But hey, if it worked... he doubted he would have any of One For All left, but if he could just... function... that would be amazing.]
But I should probably let you rest now.
[ooc: yep! Some sort of scheduling nightmare /o/ And it's not exactly an emergency since he's been living with it for six years and he's doubtful that it would even work in the first place.]
