[While Genessia has more than its share of benevolent dragons, leave it to Gellert to find a truly vicious one. The crack of what sounds like a whip accompanies the bellowing roars of the beast well. Gellert might look like a hero, silhouetted as he is by the dragon's flame, and he certainly seems unfazed by all the fuss.

But then he laughs and the sound is unnerving.]

Now, now, is that necessary? I just need a little blood. You won't miss a vial or two.

[He brings out the Elder Wand and he raises it, slashing it viciously through the air and...

Through the dragon's hide. Any blood spilt is drawn, with another quick spell, into a waiting flask. Of course the dragon doesn't like that at all. Gellert Apparates, bringing his audience along on a dizzying ride over the treetops, with the dragon in hot pursuit.

He shifts towards the mountains, where the cold air leaves frost on his audience's view. Then the communicator turns and Gellert is grinning wildly, madly, diving down into what looks like a mountain cavern.]

Wasn't that exciting? [With his feet on the ground, he ducks into the cave and brings out the spoils of his battle.] It is so very hard to acquire dragon blood.

[There follows an audible thump and he looks up.]

Poor thing. They want to bury me in here, is that it?

[He huffs and stays motionless, letting the pain ebb as the charms take hold. The problem with dragons is they are too damn powerful - right down to their talons. The wounds will be tricky to heal, yet they will. Gellert is determined.]

Many times in many places until I can't remember my name or yours.

I think I can agree to those terms. [He leans forward and presses a kiss to Gellert's mouth.] Though I admit, it will be difficult for me to remember not to tempt you until then.

I am sorry to say you are already failing. [He purses his lips, which are tingling from the kiss.] However I can't ask you to stop. My nature won't allow it.

[He chuckles gently at that, while letting his hand slide slowly down to Gellert's stomach, where his palm rests flat.]

Well, if nothing else, know that my temptations will be deeply repaid.

[He holds his breath until the hand settles, his eyes closing momentarily. Then he sighs and touches Albus's hand, caressing his fingers.]

Now I am enraged at my body.

[Albus hums gently, leaving his hand against Gellert's stomach and enjoying the caresses.]

Your body will heal you soon enough. When it does, I will make it very pleasurable.

[He smiles softly and caresses higher up Albus's arm.]

Tell me what you want to do.

[With a wicked grin, he says:]

First, I would have you like this, flat on your back on the bed, holding you carefully for your scars. Then I would run a bath for us both and wash you down, looking at you deliciously wet and naked before I had my way with you in the water.

[His breath catches and he watches Albus in wonder.]

Have I mentioned that I'm mad about you? [Gellert carefully leans in and kisses the other man with open tenderness.]

[He growls lightly into the kiss, his smile mischievous when they pull away.]

You have. And I will do my very best to keep you so.

[The growl sends a shudder down his spine and he flushes.]

Easily done, love. I am not ashamed to say you are my weakness.

I am very glad to hear. [He presses a kiss to Gellert's flushed cheek, still smiling.] If you must have a weakness, then let it be me. I can make it worthwhile.

[He chuckles, but the sound ends with a whimper.]

I can clearly remember how you make it worthwhile. I have discovered the phoenix within you and he has a voracious appetite for his mate.

[He laughs gently at that.]

I suppose you are right. I have never been able to fully indulge myself with a lover before. Even when we were teenagers, we had to scurry around your aunt and my siblings.

Indulge, by all means. I can take it. [He spreads his arms, grinning. But then he softens:] I never had the chance either. I did research, of course, but that's not the same.

[He smiles.] I'm sure your research was very thorough. And I'm sure I've benefited from it greatly.

[He presses a kiss to Gellert's neck, wrapping his arms around him gently, even as he looks thoughtful.]

This is really the only place we've been free to be together, isn't it.

I kept thinking you might not want to try it again if the first experience was bad. [He sinks into the comforting warmth, returning the embrace without hesitation.] Mm it is. If neither world can accept love of this nature, I have fleeting hope that Magic will ever be welcomed as it deserves.

You underestimate how madly in love with you I was then. Even if it had been terrible, I would have been eager to try again.

[Gently, he starts to stroke Gellert's hair, running his fingers through the strands.]

This place is different. We can have both here, I think.

We will always strive for perfection even if we have love to fall back on.

[His eyes close and he murmurs in a voice he never used in Germany or Bulgaria. It's only for Albus.]

I don't mind hiding to be with you, love.

That we will. And I appreciate that you are an overachiever when it comes to pleasure just as much as you are in other things.

[His expression softens even further at the gentle voice Gellert uses, at the way even something so simply betrays the depths of their connection. He never pauses the light stroke of Gellert's hair, but he tucks his face in closer, nestling into the warmth of his neck.]

I know you don't. And I can't even begin to describe how much I love you for that.

Then I was successful. [He closes his eyes and cradles the back of Albus's head with one hand.] Albus, it doesn't matter what form I'm in - man or woman - I will be affectionate with you.

[Gellert rubs over the other man's warm, soft skin, resting his head on his shoulder.]

Your wife would embarrass you frequently in your castle.

[He smiles softly.] I know you would be affectionate. It is another thing I love about you. But if you had been angry with me for wishing to hide us so severely, I would not have blamed you.

[In that regard, Gellert is much bolder and braver than he is. Albus has always had his secrets and always kept them close. He does not think he could ever break himself of that, and the fact that Gellert does not mind is more than he could have hoped for.

He grins a little more and presses a kiss to his temple.]

I am sure I would be amused by my wife's quirks all the same.

I'm not angry. Not at you. [His anger is reserved for their society. Albus's fears did not come from nothing and he knows it isn't focused on him.] You expect me to put the blame on you, but you forget that I am bright enough to know the cause of your fear.

[He smiles at the kiss and caresses one of Albus's hips.]

She wouldn't give you a choice.

I know you know my reasons. But I am grateful all the same of how much you acquiesce to my fears. I would not have blamed you for wishing for a more open lover.

[He smiles at the caress, pressing another kiss to Gellert's scalp, letting his mouth linger in his hair.]

I know she wouldn't. I admire her audacity. It will be one of many things I love about her.

If you were hurt because of your feelings for me, I would...well, first, be furious. Then I would feel awful and maybe guilty. I don't want to feel any of those emotions and I most especially don't want you hurt. So if I need to be quiet and careful, it's a small price to pay.

[He is completely relaxed and he grins wider at the affection that passes so freely between them.]

She also won't leave any room for any other to attempt to court you.
