It is a pleasure to meet you all though I regret we do not have the pleasure of meeting in person. I am [She paused here, never having introduced herself this way before but knowing she would have to from here on out.] Princess Aurora, daughter of King Stefan and Queen Leah.

I am new to this kingdom and while there have been many things that have helped me understand everything, there's something I need some assistance with if you have the time to spare.

You see, there was... [How best to phrase this without causing massive amounts of concern or panic. She doesn't wish to worry anyone on her behalf.] quite a bit of magic done to me before I arrived here, and... because of what the magic entailed... I'm just not entirely sure how I'm awake. Does this place undo curses even done by the most powerful of beings?

[Unless all of them were under Maleficent's curse? It was entirely possible considering the faerie's power.]

Check your finger? Maybe you're far away enough from the curse where it isn't affecting you? Or, it could be a matter of timing?

[ Evie thinks it's a combination of the two. ]

Curses tend to be quick, once they're activated, but maybe you showed up here just before it had a chance to take hold?

Oh, yes, I did think of that. There is, thankfully, no blood. [Just incredible pulsing pain, Aurora will find some herbs for that for swelling and pain later, but she doesn't wish to worry anyone.]

Well, I recall collapsing and hearing Maleficent's laughter in my mind. Still, I suppose I might be far enough away from Maleficent for that to be the case. I have no knowledge of curses so I don't know what is or isn't possible regarding them. Thank you for your assistance on the matter, Evie.

[ Evie would in fact be concerned about the pulsing pain and would want to keep an eye on it, just in case her distance theory is wrong. ]
