[For the first time since he's arrived in Genessia, Jezebel is making a post where he doesn't look cranky. In fact, he seems downright cheerful, wearing a small smile as he turns on the video for his post.]

Hello there, Genessia. Since it seems I'll be staying here for at least a little while, I went ahead and decided I might start settling in a little more, and I've added a new inhabitant to my little abode.

[Sitting in Jezebel's lap is a majestically fluffy white cat. The cat seems to be as pleased with this particular setup just as much as Jezebel is, and his purrs can be heard on the video while Jezebel strokes his back.]

This is Oleander, and he's quite a delightful little fellow so far. I've already bought him food and a bed and a litterbox and a water bowl, all that sort of thing. But I supposed it might be wise to ask if there's any sort of caretaking advice I might be overlooking.

[He scritches Oleander's ear, which seems to please the cat very much, and he settles even more comfortably onto Jezebel's lap.]

I've always enjoyed pets, but was never really able to keep them while I was alive, and I've never had a cat before. So if there is anything I should know now that I've taken one in, I'll be happy to get any advice.

[Aurora was surrounded by animals, an owl on her shoulder. If the way she carried herself didn't suggest royalty, the crown atop her head most certainly did. She looked back to the animals, offering a smile.]

If you're all sure then.

[The animals all nodded, the owl, in particular, offering a loud "HOO!"]

It is a pleasure to meet you all though I regret we do not have the pleasure of meeting in person. I am [She paused here, never having introduced herself this way before but knowing she would have to from here on out.] Princess Aurora, daughter of King Stefan and Queen Leah.

I am new to this kingdom and while there have been many things that have helped me understand everything, there's something I need some assistance with if you have the time to spare.

You see, there was... [How best to phrase this without causing massive amounts of concern or panic. She doesn't wish to worry anyone on her behalf.] quite a bit of magic done to me before I arrived here, and... because of what the magic entailed... I'm just not entirely sure how I'm awake. Does this place undo curses even done by the most powerful of beings?

[Unless all of them were under Maleficent's curse? It was entirely possible considering the faerie's power.]

For the record, let me state that not only do I not own a yacht, I also do not live in Nova City, for that matter. And as far as the yacht goes, I have neither the funds nor the personal inclination to purchase one anyhow.

And I have yet to meet anyone here named either 'Newt' or 'Thor', so I doubt that I hate them so much as to ban them for personal property I don't actually own.

[Jezebel is looking a little less disheveled and confused than the last time he posted. He's still bearing a long scar across his neck, but otherwise looks relatively at ease. His clothes are still very Victorian-era, with a waistcoat and chain and pince-nez glasses.]

Now that everyone in this place seems to be a little bit more...themselves, I suppose, I have a question to ask.

It seems that a great deal of people here are from Earth or some version of it, even if those Earths seem to differ amongst themselves. My question is, if you hail from one of these Earths, when are you from? What year was it when you arrived here?

When I died and found myself in this place, it was June 28th, 1898. As far as I am able to tell, the vast majority of people who came her from Earth arrived from the 20th and 21st centuries, which I missed narrowly. Is anyone else from a time earlier than that?

[The man in the video is clearly new if his bundle of 'new person' items was any indication. However, the background when he finally gets the video functioning shows he's somewhere in the city, not the docks. Probably because it took him a while to even figure out how to work the thing.]

What the hell kind of a coma did I fall into?

[His voice is low and soft, but smooth, like a man with years of a soft life, but his accent and tone screamed 'street-born.' But the confusion and disbelief were clear enough despite anything else.]

Did I die and miss it?

[That would probably about sum up his life right now, honestly.]

[A long-haired man in a long white coat appears on screen, looking confused and somewhat in shock. He's carrying the usual new arrival gear from the docks, but he seems a little dazed and disoriented. His collar hangs open, exposed a long gash mark along his neck, but he doesn't seem to be paying it any mind. Instead, he's glancing around Genessia City with an overwhelmed and stunned expression.

Everything seems so very different than from 1896...]

...I don't quite know if I'm using this correctly. If I'm to be honest, I don't think I've ever seen a device quite like this before. But if someone could explain to me where I am a little bit, I think that would be helpful.

[He shuts his eyes for a second, as if trying to shake a fog from his thoughts. Eventually he shakes his head and looks back at the screen, continuing.]

The last thing I remember is -- dying. The last thing I recall is dying. And now I'm in this place and it's all very...well, it's not quite what I think I imagined the afterlife to be.
