[A short dark-haired man appears disgruntled after having to figure everything out on his own because pride would never allow him to beg anyone's assistance. No matter how inept he is with technology.]

I was informed these would be my temporary accommodations until I found employment. [Vegeta rubs his temple like it would rid him of the annoyance all together. It didn't. He was still there, along way from home, with little to no idea how he got there. If he's calm at all it's because he's grown used to being uncomfortable. ]

This place is hardly suitable for someone of my caliber, and I must leave it at once! There isn't even any space to train. How can anyone live like this?

As much as it displeases me to say, I will find a job quickly so I can be free of this place.

[He looks around the small room like it's going to be different than the previous times he's looked behind him. Vegeta clicks his tongue and ends the video feed in frustration. The point was to reach out for job opportunities, but he can't bring himself to request anything from strangers in a world he knows nothing about.]

[Goku chuckles, as it's a question he's been asking himself from time to time.]

I dunno - there's simulator things here, but for some reason, a few people like Beerus, Whis, Arale, or Monaka aren't as strong in there as they are back home. When Monaka's in his big form, [as in Beerus in a Monaka costume] he's fine, but he's really weak when he's tiny.

Guess I've mainly seen him when he's holding back most of his power! Maybe if he shows up here, I'll get him to go all-out.

[His expression is that of disbelief and a touch of amusement. Goku was foolish in all things that didn't involve fighting. He had been that way for a time, too, but hopefully it was never this bad.]

Somehow I doubt that day will ever come, Kakarot. [Telling him the truth would be so easy, but he's petty enough to want the fool to know what it feels like to only be second best no matter what he does to surpass his rivals.]

You really don't need a simulator anymore while I'm here in the flesh. Simulations can't compare to the real thing.

Yeah, maybe not! But even if I could get a tiny peek at his full power, I'd be fine with it. [Goku rarely gets discouraged by being met with overwhelming power - he sees it as something to work towards, regardless of how big the gap is.]

I know! So when do you wanna spar? [Most people would give new arrivals time to get their bearings first, but obviously, Goku's not like most people.]

[Kakarot was a fool, but he knows that feeling because he's the same way. Becoming stronger than Goku had been his primary motive for a good portion of his life, and that wasn't going to change no matter where they ended up.]

Whenever you're ready, Kakarot. [He offers a smug smile to hide how the thought of fighting gets his blood pumping.]

All right! [Goku taps his fingers to his forehead before realizing that, maybe, teleporting to where Vegeta is in order to spar with him isn't the best idea.]

I'm at this Holodeck place in Nova City, but I dunno if it could take both of us. [Especially since they'd probably put much more power into a sparring match than they need to.] It could work, but one of the other cities, Fayren, has a lot more open space, 'specially near the mountains.

[He's only just arrived, he doesn't think that destroying a city (accidental or not) would be a good way to start things off. Besides, he's curious to see Fayren.]

I'd like to see the mountains. We can train there to start.

'Kay! [Once outside, Goku raises his ki significantly - not enough to cause the city to shake, but enough for Vegeta to sense where he is. Goku's not great with giving directions, so he figures this is the best way to show Vegeta where to go.]

I'm headin' to Genessia City, an' then I'll take you there!

[Vegeta takes off in that direction, deciding that he can just meet him midway.]

I will meet you there.

All right!

[He's not waiting long near the portal to Fayren before Vegeta shows up. He's grinning like a kid, clearly eager to see his friend/rival after so long.]

So what's the last thing you remember from home? This place is weird with stuff like that - Bulla's a lot older here than she is back home! [Goku figures it's okay to say that - the last time he saw Bulla before coming here, she was a baby, but Bulma tends to get mad when Goku calls her old so he's not sure if everyone's like that.]

[Vegeta lands with arms folded over his chest, his expression a lot less playful than Kakarot's childish grin.]

The tournament. [He responds, assuming the other Saiyan knows the one he's talking about. The one where the losing universes would have been wiped out. Thankfully after victory, they wished the losing universes back to existence.]

She was a baby the last time I saw her. [It's a scary thought, but one he was slowly working on accepting.] It's scary how much she looks like her mother. Even more scary that they have similar temperaments.
