[A short dark-haired man appears disgruntled after having to figure everything out on his own because pride would never allow him to beg anyone's assistance. No matter how inept he is with technology.]

I was informed these would be my temporary accommodations until I found employment. [Vegeta rubs his temple like it would rid him of the annoyance all together. It didn't. He was still there, along way from home, with little to no idea how he got there. If he's calm at all it's because he's grown used to being uncomfortable. ]

This place is hardly suitable for someone of my caliber, and I must leave it at once! There isn't even any space to train. How can anyone live like this?

As much as it displeases me to say, I will find a job quickly so I can be free of this place.

[He looks around the small room like it's going to be different than the previous times he's looked behind him. Vegeta clicks his tongue and ends the video feed in frustration. The point was to reach out for job opportunities, but he can't bring himself to request anything from strangers in a world he knows nothing about.]

[His tune changes at the mention of his family, but he's still highly suspicious.] What would you even know about my wife?

I'm guessing not, since I left something of an impression the last time you were here.

Well, considering I spar with your kids, and have helped your wife out on a couple occasions, I know a bit. Though most of that is more about them dealing with your temper. Might want to consider meditation or something to get that under control.

[Well, there's a familiar hopefully face coming up on video in response to Vegeta's. With a bit of an awkward smile--Trunks is glad to see his father, but it's clear he doesn't remember anything about being here before.]

Knowing mom, you're not staying in those temporary quarters, Father. I'd like to say welcome back, but I bet you don't remember being here before, do you? Mom, Mai, Bulla, and I are here, as is Goku, and Seventeen. And Cell, and Zamasu.

[A frown at that latter.]

It's complicated. If you're where you woke up, I can come to you and help explain things.

[ Finally. Someone familiar. At least now he can know for certain this all hasn't been some kind of dream. ]

I imagine your mother was less excited than I was about this.. [He gestures around him.] I wouldn't even call it an apartment.

[ There's very clear relief on his features to know they're all there, even Kakarot. The final name is visibly shocking though. ]

I'm near there, yes. I need to know why the people here know me, but I can't remember anything.

[Trunks nodded, and Vegeta could glimpse hints of the scenery changing behind his son. Clearly moving, probably to come to Vegeta's location.]

Um...this is going to be a weird question, but when are you from? And which timeline?

You can get training done on the holodeck. Has just about everything you need, from gravity to punching your rivals in the face.

[Ooc: fun bit of trivia. Bulma's english VA also voices Homura in the Senran Kagura anime; I dont recommend watching that though. Just found it amusing.]

I need somewhere with gravity that isn't.. [ He does a couple test hops. ] like this.

A sparring area would do, as well.

[He didn't know right off the bat of a place that does anything to do with gravity, so he was drawing a blank on that one.]

Well there is the holodeck. it... won't help with the gravity thing, but you can program it to any situation or even people to fight. It's what I use from time to time.

[She saw that part about her just being born. Well, this should be fun. Fortunately, their family adapts remarkably well to weird circumstances.]

I suppose now is as good a time as any to mention that timelines are weird here.

[ Yikes. ] Bulla?

[ She looks just like Bulma, and he's rendered pretty much speechless. He's internally proud papa-ing it up, but still can't form a coherent thought.]

[ Time for a heart warming family reunion with tears and hugs and all that, right?

Well, maybe not.

Bulma's reply features her angry face filling most of the frame. Only a sliver of the new Capsule Corp office is visible behind her. Her reply also comes slightly later than those of the kids, as she'd initially taken a moment to try to work through all the complicated emotions.

There's joy at seeing her husband again. A small sense of ease in the general stress, knowing now their family is even safer in Genessia. And anger. Mostly it's a general anger directed at the situation, and even the city, for uprooting them and leaving them faced with the idea of losing friends and family at any moment without warning. But she also might be a little angry at him. She knows he can't control his presence here, but she'll be damned if it isn't a whole Hell of a lot easier to lean into the anger than it is to focus on anything else. ]

Oh, so you're just going to waltz in and proclaim that you're suddenly willing to find a job? Maybe your new employer can teach you how to use those powers you spent all that time training, so you might notice that YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY IS HERE!

[vegedad]

[ Vegeta never thought he would be happy to hear his woman's fussing, but he watches her for a good couple seconds calmly and then gradually his temper increases as well. His face goes from neutral, to barely holding on to his boiling temper.

It was a wonder Trunks was so calm when neither parent had any amount of chill.

Vegeta looks off to the side, irritated, and only glancing at his angry wife briefly every few seconds until he can't help but respond--cutting her off in the process.]

How can one woman be so insufferable!? I'm hardly here for more than a few hours and already you're HOUNDING ME THROUGH SOME VIDEO PROJECTION?!

You're lucky I don't know how to work any of this stuff well enough to mute you, woman. [ Yep. He's glad to see her too. ]

[There would be no hiding the look of honest surprise at seeing the Saiyan prince here. Not that the thought was impossible. Just...unlikely. Unexpected.]

Vegeta...

[But also not unpleasantly so; the corners of her lips twitched upward in a ghost of a smile, and she lightly dipped her head in polite greeting.]

Circumstances aside...it’s nice to see you again.

[He shows a flicker of familiarity, like they've met before once or twice, but he can't quite place it. And then suddenly.]

[Getting used to people he knew as children being adults was going to take some time.]

[Guess who's late to the party? Goku really needs to learn to take his phone with him - he was training at the holodeck, and didn't think to check it until he was done.]

Oh, hey, Vegeta! Great to see that you're back!

Maybe you could solve both of your problems at the same time! Chi-Chi heard that Monaka got as strong as he is 'cause he works as a delivery guy! It hasn't really worked for me yet, but I figure I'll just need more time with it.

[vegedad]

[The appearance of Goku's face all of a sudden is jarring, just like his voice, and he rubs his face. How could someone so strong be this gullible? Considering they weren't in their old world anymore, he could have told him the truth, but decided against it.]

Good for you, Kakarot. [Vegeta knows he probably shouldn't ask but he can't help himself.]

I've decided on a job, but I'm curious. How will you know when you surpass Monaka's strength?
