[Albus hums softly, savoring the touches and returning them with long strokes of his hands, savoring the feel of Gellert's skin beneath his palms.]

I always thought it was because of the way our minds matched so effortlessly. I had never truly felt understood by anyone until you.

[Gellert mischievously gives Albus's behind a squeeze, chuckling against his shoulder.]

So our minds dictate our bodies? I would have been filled with sorrow if I hadn't appealed to you.

[Albus lets out a gasp and a laugh as Gellert squeezes him, grinning at the touch before pinching Gellert's rear in turn.]

I admit, it certainly helps that you are rather gorgeous.

[Pressing a kiss to Gellert's hair, he adds:]

But there are many beautiful men in the world. The only one I pick is you.

[He snickers and kisses Albus's grin, his eyes shining without an ounce of shame in their depths.]

So are you. Still adorable too, which is how I could recognize you so quickly.

[Gellert embraces him tighter.]

I wouldn't be angry if you found someone else for a short while. As long as you came back to me when it is all said and done.

[All being their lives, of course.]

[Albus frowns slightly at that, unsettled by Gellert's offer. He leans back far enough to meet Gellert's gaze, tilting his head slightly as he looks at him.]

I have you, love. I have no wants for another.

[Stroking Gellert's face, he asks:] What brought that to mind?

[His expression falls and he can't meet Albus's gaze.]

If I fail you, I don't want you to be alone.

[He rests his cheek against his lover's hand.]

You're my life, but I know I'm a rash fool.

[The frown only deepens, and he nestles into Gellert's embrace closer, even as Gellert does not look at him.]

Gellert, I have chosen you. You as you are, no matter how rash.

[Stroking his face, he says:]

Even when we were apart, I did not seek out others. I could have, if I had truly wanted to, but the idea never appealed to me.

[Albus is perfect in his arms and Gellert sighs, relenting after a moment, glancing at his lover. The reassurances bring a small smile to his lips and he holds Albus's hand against his cheek.]

I never expected for you to steal my heart. I didn't know that was possible.

But you have it. I can give it to no other.

[Albus smiles, cupping one hand to Gellert's cheek as the other splays over Gellert's chest, feeling his heartbeat thrum under his palm.]

I would never let another touch it. I treasure you beyond words, Gellert. I will keep you forever and have no other lovers try for your place.

[His smile grows and the warmth reaches his eyes. Albus is too wonderful for him to not be happier than any man should be.]

Does this make us soulmates?

[Albus' own smile grows brighter and he leans in to press a long kiss to Gellert's mouth, loving and sweet and possessive all at once.]

Everything about us makes us soulmates.

[He grins into the contact, returning the kiss with a loving intensity.]

I've thought if you were a woman, would I feel differently about you...

And... No, I wouldn't. It's you I love.

[Albus grins wildly at that, nosing at Gellert's face with love seared in his eyes.]

Our souls were made to match each other. I think we'd find each other perfectly suited no matter what form we took.

[And then he teases:]

Though, please let me know if you wish me to glamor myself into a more feminine form for you.

[He laughs and returns the gentle pressure, kissing Albus's chin.]

Your soul is the loveliest jewel I have ever seen.

[Gellert's eyes shine and he arches a brow.]

That could be dangerous! I would surely impregnate you.

[Albus laughs at that, smirking slightly at Gellert's shining look.]

Is that what you would try for, then? Have your way with me until I began to grow our child within me?

[As he says it, he takes Gellert's hand in his and runs his palm over Albus' stomach, tracing the length of it.]

Can you blame me? [He bites his lip and splays his fingers over Albus's stomach. Gently, he strokes the soft skin there, his gaze intense.] I would take care of you.

[Albus smiles softly, his hand shifting with Gellert's as he strokes the skin of his belly.]

You would care for me as I swelled with our child, then? Doting on me and then the baby when they appeared?

[He tuts softly and pulls Albus into a long kiss before he answers.]

You would want for nothing; the baby would be given a new oath from me as soon as they took their first breath.

[Albus returns the kiss, groaning into it slightly and wrapping free arm loosely around Gellert's back.]

I know you would be a most protective father. That child would never have a hair on their head harmed.

[His eyes are bright when they part and he grins, a new fire lit within him.]

I want them to have your beautiful hair and your eyes. They would look like a Dumbledore and act like a Grindelwald.

[Albus grins wickedly at that.]

They would be a terror, then, wouldn't they.

The very best terror. [He already seems to love the non-existent baby.] Our treasure. The very best Hallow.

[As he should! Even if it's not existent, it is still his baby, after all.]

They would be astoundingly clever and terrifyingly mischievous.

[No baby has ever been so adored.]

In other words, perfect.

[He twines their fingers together and kisses Albus's shoulder.]

[Albus smiles ever-so-fondly at that, squeezing Gellert's fingers in his as his eyes shine with adoration.]

You truly will be such a doting father, I can tell already. You will have spent all this time wondering how I can stand my students, and yet you will be so full of love for your own children.
