Following the recent spooky happenings in Everglade and Fayren, people could use some time to wind down and cool off after the fact. Knowing this, Gale sent out a mass invite to come by Hangar Queen for a day of mingling. He's waving the cost of food and drink for the day (given what he makes, he can take the financial hit), so people can just relax and have a good time. A special note is made to remind people that all ages are permitted and alcoholic and non-alcholic drinks are available, with alcohol available for ages 16 and over. Just don't cause any trouble and Gale will see no reason to throw anyone out. The club's mascot is even there for pictures! So why not swing by, even if for a short while? There's nothing to lose. Except your time.

Just be prepared to hear Danger Zone played a lot. It's a moral obligation for this club. Sorry (not sorry).

[Gale himself is decked out in his uniform for club attendance. He's wandering around to keep an eye on things and mix drinks behind the bar. There's staff on hand, but since this was a mass invite on Gale's part, he tries to take some of the work load off the employees working that day. Of course they'd be getting their pay like any normal work day, even if the club isn't making money today. He still thinks the least he can do is help out a little more. He'll be up and about most of the time, so it's a good thing he's well used to the platform high heel boots he wears with the uniform.

Sometimes when he lets himself sit down, he can be spotted in a booth with a laptop, likely with a ton of things open in the task bar so he can sort out business things: keeping track of what Hangar Queen goes through today, sorting out plans for expanding the Mobile Task Force's incredibly small roster, and occasionally plucking at some notes jotted down for some place called "Green Fairy." Someday he'll get around to opening that Attleton branch... someday. He might seem pretty absorbed in what he's doing every now and then, keeping the drink he has beside him well away from the laptop, juuust on the off chance he could be startled. He doesn't want to knock it over onto the expensive electronic device.

Throughout the day and night, he'll sometimes be seen tending to the Mareep to make sure she's not getting stressed out. He allowed her to wander on her own, but she often made a point to join Gale when he was sitting down.

At least once during the night, Gale will take the moment to take over the club stage, taking a brief period to perform a song and a well rehearsed dance with it, with some fairly sensual moves. Look, he's enlisted with Fama now, he's got to get his idol on (he's got to make it big someday, just gotta take baby steps in his clubs first).]

[Uai is incredibly interested in the Mareep. He's been sneaking glances at the cute, fluffy Pokemon all night, but didn't initially want to get close. With his cursed body, Uai is usually afraid to touch others and risk hurting them.

But give him a few hours, and he's relaxed enough to walk over. Plus, Gale is there. And Gale appears to be her "PokeParent."]

Is she okay with being pet?

[Gale glanced up when he was spoken to (almost seeming a little surprised that anyone actually approached him) before he looked down at the comfortable Mareep next to him. He smiled and nodded to Uai, while Mareep let out a cheerful "Maa!"]

Sure, she likes it. Just be careful with her wool. She's an electric type, so she might accidentally zap you. Static electricity and all that.

Oh, good! She's so cute~.

[Uai is unafraid of the electricity, but he does hesitate. Not because of Mareep, but himself: He's also dangerous to touch. He looks down at his hands, confirming he's wearing gloves, before kneeling down to pet Mareep.]

Electric type... Meaning, she's one of the Pokemon I hear so much about?

[Mareep is more than happy to take all that attention, her tail happily bobbing up and down. Gale himself couldn't help but be amused that Mareep was the more popular between the two of them... but she is the cute one. Gale's just the one that puts out the money for booze.]

She is. She was the first one I hatched here. One wouldn't think cyborgs dream of electric sheep, let alone hatch them out of an egg.

[He chuckled at his own joke, briefing glancing at his device to check the date.]

The last thing this place is is "predictable", but if it is at all predictable, then this is around the time of year that Pokemon tend to show up.

Guardian Gale~!

[Satou finds Gale sometime when he's working on papers, most likely. Maybe a bad time, but she's been busy socializing and this may be her only chance to greet him.]

Thanks for hosting us! It's been fun!

[No time is a bad time to pester Gale. He seems to be clicking between two tabs while he was glaring at the screen, but when Satou comes over, he's smiling again.]

Of course. I'm glad to see people enjoyin' themselves. Figured it's the least I can do after recent events, ya know?

[He still doesn't entirely have a grasp on just what happened, but at least he can give some small comfort to people. It's not like he's good for anything else.]

Mm, I think it’s helping to raise everyone’s spirits a ton! This is exactly what everyone needed.

[Satou sips her own drink, proving that she needed this too.]

I’m glad it all ended. I wonder what caused that?

Well, if it's not raisin' their spirits, then the spirits here are at least gettin' them blasted.

[Of course he would make a spirits pun. Who let the punny guy run a bar.

He tilted his head in thought, leaning back in his seat and folding his arms. He looks like he's scowling at his screen again, which currently had MTF things on screen, but he's thinking.]

I dunno if you saw, but after all that there was an anonymous message on the network. Somethin' about an "experiment" the person was doing regardin' fears. With that and it happenin' in two cities, I don't think it'd be farfetched to assume that it might have been a pendant holder like us that did it.

[She has to sober herself up when he says that.

Satou “turns off” her empathy so that she can focus. She glanced around to make sure no one is nearby, not wanting to rain on the party parade with Guardian Business.]

I’m positive that no one passed through the archways last week. No one suspicious, anyway. So whatever they did, it would be something that works without them present.

But why a fear experiment? That’s a strange thing to be interested in.

I dunno. One of the responses mentioned wanting to experiment on the native people here and I guess those of us with pendants got caught in the crossfire.

Initially I thought it was Genessia doin' the fear thing itself again. Apparently it's done it twice before, but I was only around for one of 'em. That was a couple years ago, and that network message's got me wonderin' for sure.

[He shook his head and waved his hand carelessly, looking back at her.]

We can talk about this sometime later, if you'd like. So you can have some fun with everyone else and we don't have to be all hush-hush secret 'bout it.

[And he doesn't want to rain on his own parade. He invited people to relax, not to get all business-y.]

It would make sense if it was only Everglade, because of their fear barrier... But to affect Fayren too... I wonder if they intended to affect all of the cities, but the other three somehow escaped?

[Satou pauses,

then nods.]

Right. That may be for the best. We should meet with Guardian Remilia and Guardian Azura, and hear their thoughts. They saw the events first hand.

Can't say I understand it, but it's somethin' we'll have to be careful of I think. Dante will probably want to hear about it too, so we might want to set up a meeting. In person would probably be better than over the network. In the meantime, I'll see if I can't dig a little more on the network to see if there's anything else we can use.

[He smiled then. The recent stuff was too much gloom and doom for this atmosphere.]

We'll get to all that later. For now, you have some fun, yeah? I set this whole thing up so people could relax from that whole ordeal, not for me to bring it up again, y'know?
