Following the recent spooky happenings in Everglade and Fayren, people could use some time to wind down and cool off after the fact. Knowing this, Gale sent out a mass invite to come by Hangar Queen for a day of mingling. He's waving the cost of food and drink for the day (given what he makes, he can take the financial hit), so people can just relax and have a good time. A special note is made to remind people that all ages are permitted and alcoholic and non-alcholic drinks are available, with alcohol available for ages 16 and over. Just don't cause any trouble and Gale will see no reason to throw anyone out. The club's mascot is even there for pictures! So why not swing by, even if for a short while? There's nothing to lose. Except your time.

Just be prepared to hear Danger Zone played a lot. It's a moral obligation for this club. Sorry (not sorry).

[Even though the Hangar Queen allows teens 16+ to drink, Satou is being good and staying sober. She still considers herself to be "on the job," after all. Coming here is mostly to check the good and make sure everyone is recovering from the previous week.


... Also, free mocktails. She's sitting at a bar stool, kicking her shortie legs slightly as she samples colourful drinks in cocktail glasses. There is one slight, messy consequence to Satou being in a bar... Her empathy. She's sponging up some drunken emotions, and occasionally seems to be a happy drunk herself.]

[Noisy, noisy, noisy... And all to familiar. Anastasia was keeping to herself at the bar, her own drink in hand, until Satou started to het loud.

You probably could make a rainbow... [He quirks a brow at her. He was pretty sure she was sticking to non-alcoholic drinks, but the... goofiness suggested otherwise. He came beside her at the bar, flagging the bartender to get another draft beer (god, he really missed beer ;;)] How many flavors do you have there?

[Would sitting next to a man with rational reasons sober it? Or will he have to drag her out for a little bit? Time will tell. For now, he slides in a red one, while supervising her.]

[Gale himself is decked out in his uniform for club attendance. He's wandering around to keep an eye on things and mix drinks behind the bar. There's staff on hand, but since this was a mass invite on Gale's part, he tries to take some of the work load off the employees working that day. Of course they'd be getting their pay like any normal work day, even if the club isn't making money today. He still thinks the least he can do is help out a little more. He'll be up and about most of the time, so it's a good thing he's well used to the platform high heel boots he wears with the uniform.

Sometimes when he lets himself sit down, he can be spotted in a booth with a laptop, likely with a ton of things open in the task bar so he can sort out business things: keeping track of what Hangar Queen goes through today, sorting out plans for expanding the Mobile Task Force's incredibly small roster, and occasionally plucking at some notes jotted down for some place called "Green Fairy." Someday he'll get around to opening that Attleton branch... someday. He might seem pretty absorbed in what he's doing every now and then, keeping the drink he has beside him well away from the laptop, juuust on the off chance he could be startled. He doesn't want to knock it over onto the expensive electronic device.

Throughout the day and night, he'll sometimes be seen tending to the Mareep to make sure she's not getting stressed out. He allowed her to wander on her own, but she often made a point to join Gale when he was sitting down.

At least once during the night, Gale will take the moment to take over the club stage, taking a brief period to perform a song and a well rehearsed dance with it, with some fairly sensual moves. Look, he's enlisted with Fama now, he's got to get his idol on (he's got to make it big someday, just gotta take baby steps in his clubs first).]

[Uai is incredibly interested in the Mareep. He's been sneaking glances at the cute, fluffy Pokemon all night, but didn't initially want to get close. With his cursed body, Uai is usually afraid to touch others and risk hurting them.

But give him a few hours, and he's relaxed enough to walk over. Plus, Gale is there. And Gale appears to be her "PokeParent."]

[Satou finds Gale sometime when he's working on papers, most likely. Maybe a bad time, but she's been busy socializing and this may be her only chance to greet him.]

[While Anastasia was tempered against horrors and atrocities, she wasn't safe in her dreams. Several restless mights of recurring nightmares if the pit fiend and her various mistakes back home are taking their toll. And that is why she comes to the Hangar Queen.

As a woman on the petite side, she proved her age of 19 years and was quietly sitting alone at the bar with a drink in front of her. Every once in a while, she'll peer around the place from where she was, until she spotted the establishment's mascot. She thought it was the inebriation setting in at first.]

...Is that a sheep wearing clothes?

"No, that's what I see too." Hopefully she can at least hear the friendly and familiar voice. Now that Trunks was a deputy, he did feel he should probably learn about his boss more. Even though he both was and wasn't surprised by all of this. Coming over to join Anya though, he takes a seat beside her.

"How many of those have you had so far?"

[Given his complicated existence, Uai isn't someone who can get drunk. His body is an illusion, and consuming food or beverage is meaningless. That doesn't mean that he can't enjoy the taste of sweet and fruity drinks, which he has ordered in abundance...

Because while Uai cannot get drunk from alcohol, he feels something similar when he's injured. And after the last week, Uai is pretty beaten up. It doesn't show physically, but in the way he acts like he's missing part of his sanity. He temporary threw away his sadness and fear in order to stay resilient, which meant literally destroying parts of his personality.

As a result, he's become abnormally happy. He can be found at the bar with his drink collection, chewing on the end of a toothpick umbrella and humming along with the music. There are dozens of other toothpick umbrellas floating around him and twirling. Uai is having some strange fun with his dumb magic tricks.]

[Aizawa was walking back from somewhere. He wasn't drunk yet, but he could feel the effect of the alcohol rush, his head and stomach turning. When he does manages to walk back, he needed to lean on something. Oh hey, someone's back. He plants his forehead who happens to be Uai's back.]

[ As of two days ago, Konoka is now twenty one in Genessia. While she could legally drink in Genessia for some time now, two days ago removed all doubt if western laws were to be believed, so Konoka is now enjoying sake openly.

She'd been through hell, slept through her birthday as a result, and is now eager to make up for lost time. But in actuality, Konoka isn't really here to get drunk. No, that's still for other people to do and for her to laugh at (though there's nothing stopping her from getting slightly tipsy). Rather, she was here to socialize, and thus make up for that aching loneliness that had nearly done her in last week.

So don't be surprised if she greets you pretty openly whenever you show up closely enough. ]

[Satou has a mocktail in her hand as she approaches Konoka, for whom she has been quite concerned. Konoka is leading the new healing organization, and Satou is certain she's had a rough week.]

The little youkai was easily one of the first to show up when the night club opened, hopping up and down excitedly as she raced to the bar to order the strongest thing they had.

After carding her like five times she finally got her drink and hopefully they would keep flowing. This little monster drinks with oni! It's gonna be awhile before anyone needs to even think about cutting her off.

When not at the bar Koishi could be occasoinally glimpsed floating around the room, sipping on her various colorful drinks and occasionally knocking people's hats off (by accident). At least until the club's mascot was spotted. Then it would be unending pats for the flaffy in question. And, eventually, Gallade and Salazzle would be let out of their pokeballs to keep it company. How thoughtful.

With Trunks no longer being able to work more than as a contracted-consultant at Torchwood anymore, opportunities to interact with people there and to go to Everglade were less. So it had been a bit since he'd interacted with Koishi, given her tendency to come and go as she pleased. Sadly, because of simply what she was and how that worked--he couldn't even necessarily brace himself by sensing her. So when the hug happens, it's probably going to skid a bit on the floor and hopefully not fall over.

Tulip's curious nature got the better of her so cue tiny bounty hunter slamming shots of Jack atop a bar stool? Having to face both Featherstone and the Saint of killers had done a number so drinking, yes please! But she does know her limits in case anything does go sideways.

[Tiny bounty hunter, meet other tiny bounty hunter. Rowan hadn't intended to start anything up when she approached the bar to order for herself, but once she catches the scent of what the other woman's drinking, she can't help but glance over curiously.]

Whiskey... Now there's a woman with the right idea.

[When Soma had awoken that evening from his impromptu nap, he'd found Anastasia's room empty but for a note in her neat handwriting, informing him that she'd headed over to Hangar Queen to partake of the festivities and, more to the point, the free alcohol and potential conversation partners. He certainly doesn't grudge her this - they're not married or anything, and even if they were, it wouldn't bother him.

It does, however, sound like a remarkably good way to get his own mind off of Menace, and the implications of it showing up here. Sure, it had only been a memory made manifest - but what if Dmitri, Celia, Dario, or God forbid, even Graham showed up next?

He doesn't want to think about it too hard, just now. So he's going to take up Gale on his remarkably generous offer of free booze, and make an evening of it.

He doesn't immediately spot Anastasia - there are, after all, a LOT of people in there. So you can probably catch him in conversation before they meet up.]

[Anastasia is sorry for not telling him and bringing him with her, but at the moment, she just wanted some time on her own. But now about 2 or 3 drinks later, the inebriation was nice and settled in and, thankfully, it looks like she hasn't gotten into any trouble.

She was lucky to spot Soma conversing with someone, as she was becoming hungry for company, someone to talk to. As much as she wants to play "Guess Who" with him, she'll just stand by quietly and wait until he's done. But the very moment her chance comes up, she calls out in a sweet tone that she didn't quite mean so casually in public.]

[Free food and alcohol? Well, no need to tell her to come along twice, even if she wasn't really... here for the ordeal this was made for. Whatever, doesn't matter. Either way, Jolyne is just chilling at one of the tables after having to explain a few times to a poor waitress what the hell a Rum Runner was since this wasn't, you know, Florida.

Either way, she's watching the majority of the people around the place and trying not to look too out of place for the whole newbie thing. With resting bitch face, she probably isn't the most inviting person in here.]

Hey hey, miss listener! How are you doing tonight? Having fun? [his grin is wide, friendly and lucky for her he's on the sober side of tipsy.]

I. In which a man on self-appointed house arrest is dragged out by his co-workers...

[Considering the state of things with All For One Toshinori wasn't keen on actually wandering around. Straight to work. Straight home. Repeat. The less he was seen the better. He still questioned staying near the others but he recognized that was a lost battle. It took Aizawa decking him to get that point across. If he tried to leave he and Yamada would probably track him down and drag him right back.

As it turns out, dragging him around was going to be a theme thanks to one (1) Hizashi Yamada
and (1) Nemuri Kayama, who were really the only reasons he was there. One piece of reasoning was also the fact that at least two out of four guardians would probably be present so the odds of anything happening other than possibly drunkenness were fairly low.

SO, here is a Toshinori, looking significantly healthier than he has for quite a while having gained fifty pounds since the end of December. He still has another fifty to go before being at a nice round healthy weight for his height, but the gain at least has him looking gaunt instead of emaciated to the point of being on death's door.

He meanders about, eventually ordering some food--because hey, it's free and now he can actually EAT IT. GLORIOUS!]


II. ALCOHOL IS A THING! A thing that needs to happen.

[Along with being able to eat like a normal human being, he can also imbibe alcohol without the fear of instantaneous drunkenness and destroying what was left of his liver and kidney. SOMEONE ORDER THIS MAN A DRINK, HE NEEDS IT!!!]


III. AND IT'S ALRIGHT 'CAUSE IT'S MIDNIGHT AND I GOT TWO MORE BOTTLES OF WINE--In which Toshinori is working on getting lit...

[Whoever it was who finally got him to drink, thank you. Because he is pleasantly buzzed for the first time in over six years and finally somewhat relaxed after several weeks of high stress hell. It won't last, of course, but for the moment he is comfortably numb. He is nursing his nth glass of beer with a flush across his cheeks and gives a smile and a wave as people pass him.]

[ She got carded more times than she liked... until she was able to make it clear that as a vampire, she is far, far more older than she looks, plus there's vampiric constitution... Sometimes things would be simpler, she felt, if she had the chance to grow to adulthood.

But besides being here to unwind, she's not convinced it's all over yet and expects chaos to erupt at any second.

Or people that shouldn't be getting drunk, well, getting drunk. ]

[ Sousuke had people challenge him to drinking contests, and expressed disappointment when he refused. Winning against a guy his size would earn them bragging rights.

He had no idea of his alcohol tolerance and wasn't ready to test it. Underaged drinking would have ended his sumo career back home. In Genessia, he was barely old enough.

When trying to avoid more challenges, or people asking for his autograph, he ended up near a small girl. She looked young, but seemed to have no problem handling alcohol.]

Hm... I wonder why they haven't challenged you.

[Rapunzel was used to being in these kinds of places at this point, having gone into a few just to study what people usually serve to give an idea for her own place. So she felt comfortable being there.

However, Rapunzel's drinks of choice seemed to be the most basic of drinks. Non-Alcoholic and appeared to be some kind of mocktail. As she looked at her drink she nodded slightly before looking around.]

Alright, you got this. The people here are nice and this is a place to have fun. So have fun I will. [With the determined look on her face and a slight nod she managed to take a large gulp of her drink, putting it down before moving to get up.]

Hey! Does anyone want to dance? It could be super fun?

[Silicon turns around in her seat when she hears the offer. Her eyes light up and she claps her hands together, giggling;]

[Vaggie sneered as soon as she entered this place. It was a bad idea and brought out a lot of bad memories. Were it not for the promise of booze (and the fact that she was still by herself) she would be completely out of there. The atmosphere might have been irritating, but she could stand a few minutes of this before she would saunter her way back to Everglade where things felt more normal.]

[As she saunters the bar and orders a La Paloma. After an irritated huff that she was, in fact older than 16 she seems quite content to sit by herself and watch. One may be able to even catch a smirk at some of the goings on. Sure, the music was ass, but maybe there was something about people watching actual people that was comforting in its own way.]

[ At the moment, Konoka had just been passing by, nursing some sake when she noticed the look from the other woman.

Of course, being just a bit tipsy and a little playful, Konoka attempted the most serious face she could before asking in as neutral a voice as she could. Which was mighty impressive if not for the colored cheeks. ]

[ Sousuke also felt out of place. The agents at FAMA told him, he needed to get used to crowds, noise and flashing lights. Hangar Queen was for all ages, so his presence probably wouldn't cause a scandal. The owner was also employed by FAMA.

There weren't many places where he could stay without bumping into people.A lot of people weren't sober, and some were energetically dancing.

He narrowly avoided colliding with Darc. ]

[Free drinks and food, hell yeah. Everyone needed time to relax and this beckoned them, so yeah, he doesn't mind getting dragged here. Aizawa doesn't get hammered until later on the evening. When it doe hit.... he is either--

On stage looking down at the shallow water with the bullet proof glass sits on top of it. He's calling out to a random chair, probably for Hizashi or All Might, something about being in the water.

One passed out Aizawa on the bar counter, head down with arms curled around it. There's a couple groans here and there. Let him rest, okay?]

[It took a while, but Toshinori is officially drunk and quite contented with the fact. He may b paying for it tomorrow, but for the moment he's as relaxed as he's been for a month.]

[Contented enough that he is comfortable enough to go over and bother Snape bother a passed out Eraserhead.]

Aizawaaaaa~ [He leans against the bar counter grinning down at him and giving him a nudge.] No sleeping here, you didn't bring your sleeping bag... Or did you...? [He pauses to lean a bit to the side, looking the man up and down as if he'd be able to see where the bag might be hidden.]

Ai.Za.Wa. [Each syllable punctuated by a gentle shove-shake.] You didn't drink that much did you? [Toshinori. You saw him talking to a chair earlier, he is totally that drunk.]

[Allen was mostly here to see if he could perhaps find a poker buddy since well he had nothing better to do and drinking was 100% off the table. Plus it was a nice way for at least him to relax.

Looking around he started to shuffle the cards he had on him, seeing if anyone wasn't drunk for a start.]

[Silicon is holding up a fruity cocktail, examining it from every possible angle. Her world is one where alcohol is almost forbidden, and the alcohol that does exist doesn't even taste that good.

She moves the glass closer so that she can sniff it.]

I've never seen alcohol that was blue before. Amazing...

It's juices mixed with alcohol. Or syrups, I think.

[ Hajime worked here, but he wasn't familiar with the exact ingredients in many of the cocktails. Gale always seemed to create new ones.]

I would suggest drinking it slowly. Some of those drinks are stronger than you would expect from the taste.

Being he was a deputy now, Trunks figured he should try and get more of an idea of what his boss was like. Besides very very casual; which didn't necessarily mean anything except it was different. Not that the resistance had been very military-esque, even for being made up of former military. Trunks himself had always been more solo, except for his time in the alternate-past. So small groups, and what he'd learned usually had been Mai's influence.

The club was not at all like his normal type of hanging out. Too loud, and they probably didn't have anything that would get him drunk. Not that Trunks really ever drunk to get 'drunk'. He barely usually let himself get more than tipsy.

He's out being social though, which is a good sign. Especially considering how things had been going even before the nightmare event.

Toshinori sees Trunks at some point and raises a hand in greeting. He is staying off to the side, never one to want to draw too much attention to himself--especially considering how easily that was accomplished standing over a foot taller than almost everyone else in the room.

"It's good to see you again, Trunks," he smiles, looking a hell of a lot better than he did in that hospital room months ago. He's still a fair way away from a healthy weight, but he doesn't look like he's actively dying anymore either.
