Operation 36 | [Mingle Action]
Who: Gale Reinhardt and YOU
What: MINGLE TIME
Where: Hangar Queen, Genessia City
When: March 20
Warnings: Rated B for Booze!
Following the recent spooky happenings in Everglade and Fayren, people could use some time to wind down and cool off after the fact. Knowing this, Gale sent out a mass invite to come by Hangar Queen for a day of mingling. He's waving the cost of food and drink for the day (given what he makes, he can take the financial hit), so people can just relax and have a good time. A special note is made to remind people that all ages are permitted and alcoholic and non-alcholic drinks are available, with alcohol available for ages 16 and over. Just don't cause any trouble and Gale will see no reason to throw anyone out. The club's mascot is even there for pictures! So why not swing by, even if for a short while? There's nothing to lose. Except your time.
Just be prepared to hear Danger Zone played a lot. It's a moral obligation for this club. Sorry (not sorry).
[ooc: exactly what is says on the tin, it's a mingle post! leave a top level or tag out others. go make some new CR! just don't make Gale throw you out, that'd just be rude.]

How have you been doing with everything?
[And seriously, why do you seem drunk on high calorie sugar-water?]
no subject
[She’s fine. Really. Don’t worry.]
I’m okay! I moved outta my old place and into the office for now. [Homeless girl problems.]
And Genessia stayed safe last week, so that was good. You?
no subject
Oh, no--that's UA's motto.
[But that makes him raise a brow.]
Wait, Sattou--you're living out of your office??
[Nonono, that is not ok.]
[Even though he totally lived out of his offices for something like 25 years... BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT!!]
no subject
[She gives a drunken nod, too honest for her own good at the moment:] Yeah... It’s okay! I still got my puppy and Pokémon to keep me warm, so I don’t have to use the office heating! Funds are still a-okie dokie.
no subject
[This is hitting a little too close to home and he doesn't like it.]
What--why are you living out of your office???
[Detective Yagi is on the case...]
no subject
At least she's sponging up happy drunk vibes, instead of being a crying or angry drunk?]
Homura-chan left, n' now I can't pay rent. But! [She sits up again, flashing Toshinori a peace sign and confident grin,] No worries, Mr All Might! I'm an experienced homeless person!
no subject
Satou... if you need help paying your rent we can help you with that. You shouldn't have to live like that. Or you can come to Fairy Haven with us until you figure something out. I highly doubt Mavis* will mind.
[ooc; * or whoever is actually in charge]
no subject
... It's really fine, though. I have a roof over my head this time. I'm grateful, really.
no subject
Mm... I guess I can understand that. I just have a hard time with it. I don't like seeing young people forced on their own here. I saw too much of it growing up myself.
[He looks over again.]
Just keep it in mind, yeah?
[And be aware, he is so telling your dad.]
no subject
Satou notes his body language. It helps her to further sober up as she turns to her mocktail, sighing softly into her drink.]
Yes, I will. Thank you.
[But it's a bit late for her.]
I just don't have anywhere else to go right now.
no subject
[He hums... and feels a bit bad that he quite literally killed her buzz and then clicks his tongue, holding out a finger up.]
You do now.
You should come stay with us at Fairy Haven, at least until you decide what to do or where to go. The rooms are separate so you'll have your privacy, not to mention a bed because I doubt you have a mattress in your office, and even if you have a couch I can confirm it is really not good to sleep on it for extended periods of time-- [Like, you know, your entire adult life because you don't see the point in actually having a separate place to sleep... DON'T BE HIM, SATOU] You're the same age as our students who are there as well if you're worried about fitting in.
[He offers a warm smile then.]
And it would just make me feel better.
no subject
I guess... it can’t hurt. Until I find somewhere else... I don’t want to be too much of a hassle.
no subject
Mmm. [Someone's a little sluggish here.]
What you guys doing? [Satou may pick it up right away... your dad is drunk.]
no subject
This is not the person that she wants to know about her housing situation!!!
Satou squeaks.]
Sho sho sho SHOTA!!! Ahhhhummm! [ Looking to Toshinori for help. You call yourself a hero! Prove it, and bail her out here!!!
no subject
[Shit eating grin covered up by a swig of his beer.]
[Because sometimes heroes have to poke their noses where they're not wanted~]
[Are you going to remember this in the morning Aizawa? You don't seem to be talking to plants yet so maybe...]
no subject
[He looks down from above her.]
So... you're moving in. When is it happening?
[Drunk sleepy eyes stares curiously.]
no subject
[Is this really happening? She can’t say “no” and call Toshinori a liar...
She lowers her head, nodding.]
Um... I-I don’t know. I don’t want to be in the way...
no subject
Stop thinking like a stubborn person. You're my little girl, no one else. So it's fine.
[He said it. Drunk. Probably won't remember this.]
no subject
[It's hard to tell which he is grinning more about, strong arming Satou out of homelessness or witnessing the fabled 'Dadzawa' appear. He takes another drink of his beer before motioning toward the two of them.]
See? You heard him.
no subject
I-I.... I’m not being stubborn. It’s called being “considerate!”
... I have to move my stuff.
no subject
That's fine.
[He's focusing hard on the salt shaker, no wait... he's talking to it. He even turns to one side.]
We can do that later. [When he's sober. And he's on the move again, to go somewhere else in the club, with a salt shaker.]
no subject
[Toshinori grins after him.]
I wouldn't worry too much about a move Satou, my girl. We have three strapping young heroes who will probably be more than happy to help not to mention the four of us. [It was too bad Uraraka wasn't still there, between her and Monoma they could probably float all of Satou's belongs all the way from point A to point B.]
