How many soldiers would you say we have between the cities? How many are from other worlds and how many are native? Should the cities be attacked, are there plans to raise the defenses?

I haven't seen many walls or weapons for that matter.

(She should probably explain her line of thinking.)

I come from a world that is unsettled and violent. If this world is able to bring my brother and myself here, I worry others might arrive too. Others that have no desire for peace.

Are you speaking personally or in general? (On the last point, that is.) I have spoken to some of the Guardians and they are not all-powerful. They need an army to support them.

Try convincing them that. Or the soldiers to throw in their justice behind protecting people they still have petty arguments with.

None of that will matter if the Wights from my world arrive. (Petty disagrees are only a stupid way to get killed then.)

[That's okay, Smoker's plan for if his own boss arrives, was, until a few days ago, do his best to evacuate a city, and throw the Phoenix at the problem.]

They are the Undead and there are thousands of them marching on my kingdoms. (In comparison, the Lannisters seem like gnats.) Only fire can kill them.

[Blank stare for a moment.]

Right, yeah. That won't be a problem here. Bakugo is a deputy guardian who generates explosive fire enough to take out a city if he wanted. And -- [What the hell does he call Portgas and still vouch for him as?] Portgas is the only man I'll call my equal, he uses fire. [Turns his arm to smoke.] I use smoke. If we went all out we could probably level Fayren. Alone, he could handle an unpowered army, but he and his crew fought against the armies of nearly the entirety of my world.

And even without that, plenty of people came up with some creative means to deal with the snow monsters before Christmas.

In my world, zombies are controlled by someone with powers akin to mine and Portgas'. Is there a controlling general to the undead horde in your land, or is it a phenomenon due to elements rebelling?

(Well she does look relieved - her shoulders relax a bit and she exhales quietly.)

I wouldn't say they are unpowered. Most of them will be armed and perhaps even wearing the armor they possessed in life.

They also have a dragon. (Her son. It is very difficult for her to think of him as a monster.) The Night King controls them and he is the one who slew my dragon. He is cunning and powerful; I know he seeks to conquer all of my world as Winter descends upon us.

Mm. Even if he comes, he wouldn't have his army with him. Dragons neither. And some of us have fought both before.

You know that for certain? The dragon he has in his possession is my son. If he does arrive, I ask that he be put to rest humanely.

[SMOKER'S EXTREME SYMPATHY.]

Gecko Moria of my world had an army of Zombies, but powered them with shadows. It's possible your sons might come when they're still alive. There have been... a lot of dead who come here alive. Time is.... weird like that here.

The dragons I've dealt with are nowhere near as powerful as they could be, but I know their weaknesses. I don't usually kill anyone, even pirates, if I can avoid it, but a snapped neck or calm suffocation is a quick way to go at least.

The only way to kill a Wight - and my son is truly a Wight - is by fire. I saw him transform myself; I saw him fall, perish and then awaken under the Night King's control. I would like to see him alive again. If I had that chance...

(Her heart won't be broken, then. Or the pain will be lessened, at least.)

Yeah. Don't get your hopes up, but I've met people I saw murdered with my own two eyes here. Alive as ever. And their deaths changed the whole shape of the world.

His name is Viserion and his scales are cream and gold. If his eyes are blue; if his flames are blue, he is dead and a Wight. If not, he will answer to me.

[Nods.] I'll keep eyes and ears out for him. Most likely, his flames can't hurt me either way, so I can wait to see the color. If they're blue, I'll save you the heartache. I don't think I could handle my daughter being used as a weapon against me.

There's a phoenix from my world with blue flames, but he's not dead, that's just the color.

[Rubs the back of his neck. And the rest of the fire brats can talk to her themselves if they wish, or she she can specifically seek them out.] Did you have an army to fight the Night King and wights in your world?

Thank you. That is very kind of you. (She will want to visit his body afterward if nothing else. A mother should lay their child to rest if they should perish before them - though that seems cruelly unnatural to her.)

I won't harm him. (She isn't really a warrior, so the worry is small on that account.) I did. An army composed of Dothraki, Unsullied, the Greyjoys, men of Dorne, the Tyrells and the men of the North. I had over three hundred and fifty ships sailing with me and I have added to the number since arriving on Westeros.

[Smoker would agree.]

Three hundred fifty. No small fleet. The war of the Summit in my world had all that could be mustered on both sides as well.

The phoenix was on the opposite side of the war from me, so I wouldn't care if you hurt him, but you don't need to fear him. He's just an idiot. How did you get drawn into it?

I am the last Targaryen - the last true ruler of the Iron Throne. The throne was taken from my father by a foul usurper and myself and my brother were set adrift in the midst of a mighty storm. We landed in the East safely and we were on the run for years. They called him the Beggar King because he sold what jewels he had - including our mother's crown - to buy us safety.

That sort of pressure would wear on anyone and my brother was unable to bear the strain. He sold me to a Dothraki Khal - a wild nomad by Westerosi standards - in exchange for an army. He never expected for the Khal to give me his loyalty instead. I found my voice and my strength and my brother was killed for his abusive words and actions towards me.

(She doesn't relish that day, yet it was a turning point.)

I lost my Khal and the son in my womb, but, in exchange, I became the mother of three dragons. They traveled with me across the East and we amassed an army as we went.

I will reclaim my father's throne and set the Seven Kingdoms to rights.

A -- someone important to me said recently he was sick of fighting and war for a lifetime. I wonder if he doesn't have the right of it. Justice used to seem really clear to me, but the more I age, the more all things darken.

There will be peace, but I need to take the throne first. (Yes, it is extremely tiring and she isn't sure she will survive. But she has to try.) I have my doubts about my strength, but that's human, isn't it?

I think that's just mortal, or the only way to get stronger. Someone who never questions their path can never truly be assured they aren't lost.

I fear being lost more than death. My father was cruel and more lost than he knew; my brother was the same way. I must be better.

Mm. Yeah. I understand that completely.

You sound like a good queen so far. Hopefully your horrible experiences will always serve as a reminder to help others.

I could not ask for more.

Except for my future to be filled with peace for my people. They will deserve decades of quiet prosperity after this war.
