[ Video / Action for Castmates ]

[ So the absolute nerve of attacking their guild aside, what may be a surprise to those who were there - and those who were responsible? The day after the battle, what damage done to the guild is restored to like it was never damaged. Strangely, there were no construction workers or people in the vicinity when it happenend. ]

[ Lucy was pacing her way through the guild, checking to see that everything was back to the way it was, before making her way up onto the roof and settling in outside there. ]

All right then. It looks like everything's back to normal - thank the spirits for that.

[ Even the little hut that Natsu had been building was untouched since the majority of the fight had been centered around the main building. She folded her legs beneath her in lotus position, proceeding to do just that - ah, but first..! ]

It's been a while huh? I've been away - [ And she hates the fact that she hadn't been near when the guild was attacked; though since she was with the kids it would be pardoned. ] -

for a bit, so how's about a little catchup on what's been going on outside of Fayren lately?

[ That said she ends the feed, closing her eyes to commune with the spirits that were kind enough to patch up the place. It wont' take long, feel free to drop a message her way. ]

Get bored? Nah that can't happen. The look in your eyes whenever you really got an idea by the tail and you're writing it down. It not something I get to see every day. How could I get bored of that?

[He smiles shamelessly. He's simply being honest though without any real ulterior motive. After all it's not like she kicks him out anymore.]

Hmmm good. I don't wanna be the only one who likes this kind of thing.

[He gave a small chuckle at her little joke about not wanting to move.]

Well that's fine with me. It's not like we've got anything else to do.

[He watched her play with the end of his scarf, trying to be sneaky about it.]

It isn't for me either. I get all all restless and antsy.

[ Lucy giggled at that response. It was just so.. so -him-. So utterly shameless and honest, how could she not love him? ]

You're so weird; only you would find something like that fascinating. [ Well maybe not only him. She'd admit (maybe) that she liked watching him when he was doing something too. ]

Never. I'd be happy if we didn't have to go anywhere, and I could just stay like this, in your arms, all day.

[ Ugh ugh, and don't get her started on when they were asleep all curled up together. It was so damn comfortable and warm she hated to even move. But she wouldn't mention the moments of weakness she's had, being tempted to suggest just staying snuggled up in bed. It would be embarrassing! And he might get smug at her. ]

Restless and antsy? [ She paused - nope, she wasn't playing with his scarf, that was your imagination. ... okay yes she was. Still is too, though she's still trying to be sneaky about it. ]

[He playfully stuck his tongue out before nuzzling against her shoulder again with a smile.]

Nah. It's fine if I can feel you going around in the guild. Though it's best when we're in the same room. Just feels more right.

[ She gave him an equally playful 'hmph!' at his response. Nerve. But she was smiling, and feeling him nuzzling against her shoulder, she tilted her head a little against his, affectionately. ]

Hmm... I guess I know what you mean. We've been together -- well.. not in the same sense -- for so long it just ... feels odd when you're not around.

[ She sighed again, though with a teasing giggle. ]

Although you should be careful. I'll get so comfortable being in your arms like this, and chairs aren't going to be good enough anymore. [ She'll want to sit in his lap so she could be closer all the time! How terrible! ]

[That smile was all he wanted really.]

Heh. Both of us should've mentioned it earlier. Would've dodged so many weird situations.

[He heard that giggle and his own smile grew a little after she teased.]

Heee that doesn't sound bad to me. It's a win win~

[ Well he'll be able to get his fill of it since she's still smiling. ]

.. Yeah. Well the important thing is we know now.

[ Even if he does still make her flustered, and giddy, and a melted puddle of herself whenever he smiles at her. ]

Heehee, somehow I had a feeling you'd say that. [ She paused, looking thoughtful. ] Hmm.. let go for a second?

[ Don't worry, she's not going to run away! ]

[As if he could get his fill of that.]

Yeah that's true~

[And that will never ever change if he has a say.]

Eh? Let go? Uh okay.

[He was curious to say the least so he reluctantly loosened his hold. Hopefully she wouldn't forget she had his scarf lightly wrapped around her neck too.]

[ Good. Just like she hoped he'd never get his fill of something so simple as a smile from her. Of course, she wouldn't forget he had his scarf around her neck - she wasn't getting up anyway. Just shifting position to get more comfortable. ]

It's not a chair, but...

[ Shifting to sit sideways instead, thusly making it easier for her to hold him too. Which she does, wrapping her arms around his waist and smiling as she snuggled close against him, scarf wrapped around them both. This is probably the warmest she's ever been - not including them sleeping in bed, that is. ]

[He quickly understood though what she wanted to do and shifted his own position a little to make her new one more comfortable as well]

It's great. Though now you'll have to turn your head around to look at the stars.

[Maybe she wanted to look at him more? He didn't consider that possibility.]

[ She grinned, resting her chin against his shoulder. ]

The stars are all around us, Natsu. This way I can watch you, and them.

[ Silly, not considering the possibility that she might like to watch him as much as he liked watching her? ]

[Well he couldn't deny that logic though that was also the case because he was rendered stunned right then and there as she grinned up at him from that position.]

Well...there's also another good thing about this position I guess.

[Yes he's silly but he's considering something she isn't either so they are square.]

[ It wasn't her intention but she would consider it a kind of victory that she stunned him. If she kept count, she'd probably say he rendered her speechless more than her rendering him though. ]

Hrm? Another good thing?

[ Beyond her being able to watch him and the stars? Because she looks pre-tty comfortable right now - though she might be watching him more than the stars right now. As she was, she could hear his breathing, and even his heartbeat. Music to her ears. ]

[He was about to make her lose count in a moment from now.]

Mhmmm~ It lets me do this.

[And since she's so close it's no trouble at all to lower his lips to hers and seal them with a light innocent yet playful kiss. That ought to warm her up even more~]

[ Boy did it ever. She tightened her arm around him as she melted into that light kiss. Even something as playful as that and she was putty in his arms. When she pulled away briefly - somewhat relutantly, granted, she leaned her forehead against his with a soft chuckle. ]

I don't know what it is about you, Natsu ... [ She murmured with a blissfully happy smile. But whatever she might have added was probably going to be cheesy as hell - or nothing at all. But she almost forgot why they were even out there on the roof; the sparkle of stars as witness. And amidst those stars, a streak of one crossing the sky, catalyst for the star shower Lucy had mentioned. Prettiest thing she'd ever seen, she was sure. ]

[He liked that sensation. Feeling her body grow more comfortable against his own as that warmth spread to him as well which was saying something given how naturally warm he was inside.]

Well I like it that way.

[He murmured softly and nuzzled against her cheek a little bit before training his eyes upwards just in time to see the first streak over the night sky.]

[ She grinned at that, nuzzling back against him contentedly. It was a perfect way to end an evening, and though she felt bad that the children were asleep at this hour, thus missing the star shower, being able to see it with him was important too. Besides, it felt like it'd been forever since she'd been able to curl up against him like this. Even though it was just that morning she was in his arms. ]

That's so unfair.

[ Mock pouting at his air of mystery, teasingly. Although as she watched the stars falling, she couldn't help but wonder how the heck they were going to manage to move away just to get back inside. It was so -warm- and comfortable right there! ... although this was actually less important than the moment too. ]

Unfair isn't always a bad thing~

[Natsu replied cheekily. His eyes trained skywards once again just in time for another shooting star to leave it's mark on the dark canvas of the night.]

Comfy? Because I am~

[ Pff, what. She huffed a bit in amusement, ]

How do you figure that?

[ Cheeky bastard. But she was content to use his shoulder as a pillow, watching stars streaking across the sky. ]

Yeah.. definitely. I couldn't get more comfortable than this.

[ Probably. Well, she thinks she couldn't anyway. ]

I might have to give up on chairs now.

[ They're just not going to do it for her, woe woe. ]

[Huffing like that is another cute point of hers]

I just do. It keeps things interesting~

[Cheeky to the end and she loves him for it.]

Hehehe that's the biggest kind of praise I've ever heard~

[ That was such a Natsu response, she couldn't help but smile. Yeah, he's cheeky, and she loved him for it. Loved every little bit about him, even when he drove her nuts. ]

Don't let it go to your head, Natsu.

[ She..may be a little too late for that. Giving him any kind of praise. Absently lifting a hand to play with his hair - she didn't know why it was a thing she enjoyed doing lately. Just little touches she never missed a chance to take. ]

You know, they say if you make a wish on the first falling star it's supposed to come true.

[ Well.. they kinda missed the boat on that one. BUT, she didn't have anything she could wish for - except maybe going home. But that could keep. ]

[It was and he had no intention of ever changing that.]

[Totally playing dumb right now. Natsu eyed the falling stars again.]

Heeee is that so. I'm having trouble thinking of a wish though.

Ha, as if you didn't know.

[ She smirked. ]

The stars are my witness, after all.

[ Thoughtful again, at the latter, she spoke up after a moment. ]

Hrm.. yeah, so am I. I think.. there isn't a single thing I could wish for. [ Maybe before she might have wished to have the guts to confess to him, but she's already done that. ]

Maybe I do maybe I don't~

[Someone's been learning the coy evasion technique from a certain writer.]

Hmmmm still it'd be a shame to waste the chance.

[So he paused for a moment and closed his eyes in thought contemplating on a wish he could want fulfilled.]

[ Turn it right around on her will you? .. she's thoroughly amused by that. Watching him close his eyes to think of a wish, she smiled. Totally planning something. ]

Hmm, I guess you're right. It -would- be a shame to waste the chance...

[ Ohoho, in fact, she leans over to slip both arms around his neck and sneakly pull him in for another kiss while he's apparently thinking of a wish. Unless he is a deceiving deceiver in that regard. ]

[It's always such fun to do that so how could he possibly pass up the opportunity! Speaking of opportunity]

[A surprise attack when he had his guard down. His eyes widen when he feels that familiar sensation but they slowly close and lean back into the kiss as well.]
