What makes it even more jarring is how her hand's skin is intact, only covered in soot. With him still carrying the winged baby into one arm, he holds her hand as to inspect it. ]

I wouldn't mind seeing that. (Her mischief transforms into genuine relief. The fire would have burned him and badly. Dragon fire is nothing to treat lightly, though she is drawn to it just like a moth.)

(She feels bad when he jolts and she pulls her fingers back slightly. But then his hands are warm around hers and some of her worry begins to ebb.)

Be careful around any flame, but especially Dragonflame. It has to burn out by itself; water won't be able to quench it.

[ It's not like Souji doesn't like her touch, on the contrary, without even noticing he does.

The touch reminds him of Kamiya's, which immediately makes him feel guilty of such.

(The hatchlings them breathe fire over the chunks of meat she had given them, roasting them before they ate them. She beams.)

What does 'Dracarys' means?

It means "Dragonfire" in High Valyrian. (So she is basically telling them to "burn" their dinner. The hatchlings eat the meat enthusiastically, making small chirping sounds.)

[ His face turns pensive watching the hatchlings eat their snack. Then glances at Dany. ]

I believe I've never heard of that language before, only American and Dutch from their respective Western countries in my world. Do I need to learn it to speak to them?

[ S-So cute! ;; ] [ He sways both slices above the hatchlings before placing them on the ground. ] Dra... Dracarys! [ With that they throw fire to their respective slices, leaping on them and devouring excitedly. He can't contain his own happiness. ] I did it!~

(She laughs and claps her hands.)

They like you. Dragons are good judges of character.

(They see the shell and what lies beneath.)

The purple is Hāedar and the black and red is Valonqar. (Little sister and little brother in High Valyrian.)
