Hello again.

I have had some time to to explore and familiarize myself with this world and I'm impressed with the technology here - at least in Nova City. It's far beyond what I've seen before yet it's also lacking. That's why I am going to work for and with Aster Technologies and we can combine our knowledge to do great things.

Now, I know, I introduced myself as Mysterio when I first arrived and that is indeed a name I am known by but let's have a proper introduction now, shall we?

He shouldn't look so stricken, but somehow he hadn't put that together. He hadn't been 100% sure of Mysterio's death - he's still not, honestly - so Beck just showing up had seemed plausible enough. But the thought of, say, Tony Stark showing up here ...

He swallows around the sudden lump in his throat. Certain that Tony would be disappointed to see what's become of his legacy. ]

I'm 38, thank you very much. Not that old. But to a kid like you, I guess that seems ancient.

More than twice my age, so yeah. Middle-aged at best.

You know I have knowledge of all that special tech from Earth-833. It could really help us all out here.

If Tony Stark saw something special in you, then there is. We could have all worked together to produce something incredible. It's a shame what happened... But heroes do what they have to do.

I can't really talk about it in public. That would spoil the surprise, so to speak. But maybe we can get together to discuss it.

I don't know what tech you're familiar with and this is not exactly like Earth's. Similar, yes. But still... I guess even a regular, ordinary kid like you can deal with basic tech.

[He's letting Peter do it because he knows it's likely Peter wouldn't trust him. He could say it's private then go on and announce secret things on a still public line. Of course there'd be ways to double check from both ends but with their tech knowledge, maybe there were ways around it. He's also now seeing the extra advantage of network over face to face meetings - where their every conversation can easily be recorded, for future use. He's not going to bring that part up here... just keeping it in the back of his mind.]
