Hello again.

I have had some time to to explore and familiarize myself with this world and I'm impressed with the technology here - at least in Nova City. It's far beyond what I've seen before yet it's also lacking. That's why I am going to work for and with Aster Technologies and we can combine our knowledge to do great things.

Now, I know, I introduced myself as Mysterio when I first arrived and that is indeed a name I am known by but let's have a proper introduction now, shall we?

I don't see the point in trying to counteract what everybody has been saying. We have to live our lives here until we get sent back.

I'm going to do what I can to make the most of this time.

Pretty much, yeah. I haven't fully accepted that I'm here for an unknown amount of time. Personally, I think that's kinda crap. I have brothers and a dad to get back to. But if time's stopped where I'm from, then they won't notice I'm gone.

That's the running theory, right?

That's what they say and we all have things we need to do back home.

If we can't contact people outside the barriers or transport through them then we just have to accept that for now.

It's quite a thankless job, for one, and not enough pay for what you do. Not a lot of growth, either. It's only good if you want to keep your skills a bit sharp. If you're aspiring for more, best to make other plans, or even open your own tech company.

Nice to meet you fully, Mr. Beck. As I said before, I'm Trunks. Last name Brief. Currently head of Capsule Corp, in Nova City. My mother's company based on what she did back home. She worked for Aster before deciding to try and start her company here.

[Keeping things confidential, Trunks could understand. And it wasn't unlikely that yes, the other new tech that he hadn't heard of. The way he said it though, internally made Trunks roll his eyes. Seriously, was this guy going to assume Trunks was a 'kid' like Dante did?

Fortunately, Trunks was usually polite and it wasn't annoying enough for him to do more than that internal eye-roll.]

I thought you'd familiarized yourself with the surroundings--guess you missed some.

[Okay, maybe a hint of snark. Blame his mother, and justifiable pride that Trunks had in her and her work and inventions.]

We mostly deal with consumer goods. Those who need a lot of space, but want a lot of stuff too. You're in Nova City, so I'm sure you'll see us.

[While it wasn't a jab directly at Trunks, Beck had a tendency to make it sound like he was the one to know more of what was going on than anyone else. Smartest guy in the room? He'd like to think he was, and acts accordingly.]

The work is in Nova City. Currently, I was given a key to an apartment in Genessia, and I haven't had time to explore every part of either city as yet.

Indeed. It is not common for skeletons to be so animate. Though I have not yet inquired as to the magic that gives him life. Regardless, his desire to protect Fayren and help others is admirable.

I'm not much of a hero since I failed my own Earth. But I did all that was in my power to protect the next world. They're the ones who hailed me as a hero.

I was born somewhere in South Blue, but grew up on Mt. Colubo on Dawn Island in East Blue. You probably don't recognize those places, though. I think that where I'm from is pretty different than where a lot of people here came from.
