WHO: Sun and Blake
WHEN: 9/30
WHERE: Various places.
WHAT: Going out on a date!
WARNINGS: None so far. Will update if there are any.

Now that Sun was all dressed up in his outfit, he was ready to go. But not before checking himself one final time in the mirror to make sure everything was straight. It felt weird being somewhat dressy. This was more so Neptune’s thing than his own. If he was here, Sun was certain it would have been him dragging Sun out to get some nice looking clothes.

But he hadn’t seen the guy in nearly a year at this point. The same for the rest of his team, which bummed Sun out a lot. But, he had a date with Blake tonight, and this was the high point of his time here. He smoothed his jacket out and then left his apartment and went right next door to knock on Team RWBY’s apartment door.

The butterflies in his stomach just wouldn't settle down. But he tried to remember what Yang said about being his normal self.

"Be cool, Sun. Just be cool."

She at least relaxed enough that her cat ears perked back to normal and she gave a small sigh of relief. Still, the fact he was holding her made her blush just a bit as she glanced away almost timidly. Not only did she humiliate herself, she forced him to have to hold and carry her.

"Still- it wasn't polite of me to just- climb up you like this. I must be heavy; if you'd like to put me down."

"You really aren't." She was pretty small too. If she was the shortest member of her team, he didn't know. But she was still pretty tiny. He sets her down on the ground so she can stand on her own feet.

"So is this one of those things that you don't want me to mention to Yang or Weiss?" Seeing as that there seemed to be any secrets between the threes, he has to wonder if she would care at all. But he wants to be sure.

Set back on her feet, she cleared her throat and smoothed out the ruffle of her dress' skirt. A small blush painted her cheeks as she glanced up at him with a small nod.

"If you could- never remember this ever again- that would actually be ideal." She pouted with a small huff.

"I'm never going to forget the time Blake Belladonna ran from a little doggy and then hopped into my arms. I'm so sorry, but that's just not going to happen." He says this with the most amused smile on his face.

"I'm sure I'll do something equally as embarrassing at some point, if I haven't already back in our world."

Can't help but give a small glare with ears folding back. It really was going to be hard to convince him to forget what he just saw. "Fine, but it's our secret then. And no telling Neptune if he ever arrives here. You already told him I was a Faunus." She said as she started to follow after him again.

"Other than that, no. Nothing really embarrassing." She said thinking back. "You did opt out of a battle you did sneak your way in to to go eat instead. But other than that you're quite the charmer when you want to be."

“Oops.” Sun let that secret slip to Neptune? Well..It was Neptune of all people. As long as he stressed that it was important to keep the secret, he was sure his friend would keep it. Still, now he felt a little bad knowing that he would out Blake’s secret at some point.

“Really? I’m sure you were fine in the battle without me, weren’t you?” Sun knows he wouldn't have left if she really truly needed his help.

"Don't worry. Weiss told the entirety or Team JNPR and who knows how many others. I guess my secret couldn't stay secret for long once others found out." She said with only mild annoyance. Not at him of course, but at possibly just being labeled as the Secret Faunus.

"We managed. You and I got to meet up with Torchwick again, fun right? The battle got out to the freeways. Honestly I'm just glad you and Neptune weren't hurt." She said, glancing up at him. "You risk too much for us."

“Neptune joined the fight too? Well, he is my friend. So I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that he would let me drag him into all of that.” He really needed to be like Yang and take a trip to that dream dock to get some of these memories. But with this date coming up, he decided to put that trip off a bit.

“I don’t think so. What I do for you is no more dangerous than being a Huntsmen will be for me. Even if it was, I would still do it for you.”

"Your friendship is really sweet. I think he really wanted to come to see Yang and Weiss anyways. Everyone does seem to love them." She said before brushing her hand gently against his again.

"Still. We're putting our lives in danger, we know that, to get information and you don't have to come with but you always seem to be eager to. You're risking your life for our inner battle. I might not show it but I'm really grateful. I just don't want you to get hurt, Sun."

"I'm not surprised that Neptune would be interested in those two. They are both definitely his type." He hoped Neptune would only pick one and pursue them, though. Neptune wasn't really the player type, but then again he hadn't seen him be able two girls that he held a lot of interest in.

"You don't have to worry about me, Blake. I'm tough. You've seen me fight. I'll handle whatever Torchwick or any of his cronies throw at us."

"I don't think there's a man at Beacon who isn't in love with either of them." Giving a shrug, she smirked lightly. It was true. All the 'gifts' that would be left at their rooms that Ruby and Blake would leave on their teammate's beds. It became a norm for them.

Blinking, she tilted her head curiously while glancing up at him. "You're still going to willingly throw yourself in to the fight we made?" It was flattering, but her worry was still not wanting to involve friends and have them get hurt for her teams errors.

“If I wasn’t, I probably would have bailed a long time ago. I’m in it until the end, Blake. You can believe that.” Sun wasn’t the kind of guy that turned his back on the people he cared about. Even when times got tough, they could always count on him.

"Helping you out is probably the best thing I can do with my skills anyway." Defeating Grimm and stuff like that would help the world. But taking down the White Fang and stopping whatever game they were playing at seemed like the biggest thing at the moment.

Well, sounded like there was no way to convince him. He would probably just end up showing up to their room, hanging upside down and waiting for them until they gave up and allowed him to come along. "You're a pretty stubborn Faunus, aren't you?" She teased.

"You are rather skilled, if our combined efforts were any indication against Torchwick at the docks."

Taking a few steps in front of him, she turned so she would at least be facing him, idly walking backwards. "You have to promise me that you won't do anything that could really hurt you though. If it becomes deadly, I don't...I don't want to see you get hurt."

“You’re one to call me a stubborn Faunus.” He teased right back. Blake had a worse stubborn streak than him apparently.

“I promise Blake. I’m not going to do anything to get myself seriously hurt.” At least not as long as he could help it. And if it came to either protecting Blake and holding up that promise, then of course he was going to choose protecting Blake.

"Now stop worrying. Nothing has happened to me yet. I'm still safe and sound and on a date with you."

"Good." She simply stated with a small smile before turning back around and returning to walk with him at his side since he knew the location much more than her.

"I'm going to hold that to you." It was almost like a promise and a threat, an innocent one at least. And she was indeed just as stubborn as him. If a chance came down to it, she'd protect him and sacrifice herself to at least keep him from getting hurt. She'd do the same for her team but Sun almost seemed like a special case.

Even with the antics of the dog coming up at her and while nearly jumping in Sun's arms, people weren't looking at them oddly for their features. It- certainly was liberating.

It was common that some people might be afraid of dogs, even if they weren’t a cat Faunus. Though he honestly had never seen anyone reaction to them quite like Blake just had.

“You can. Faunus honor.” He reached out and grabbed her hand before he continued along with her down the path that he had memorized. And one that he had marked off on a map that he got here in case he got lost, but he was certain his memory was good enough to get them there.

"For the record, you can always climb on me to escape dogs if you need to." He said as he gave her an amused smile.

Giving just a small blush once he grabbed her hand, she all but happily followed him again as he lead her around the city. Hopefully no more dogs would come around but she was at least enjoying the scenery again of bright lights, machines and intoxicating scent of different foods in the air.

Quirking a brow, she glanced up at him skeptically. "Is that really something you want to give me permission to do? I could of smothered you."

It wouldn’t have been such a terrible way to get smothered if you asked him. “I’m sure. I don’t foresee you having to take me up on that offer too often.” Because when did they really run into dogs? As far as he knew, they didn’t even have dogs living in the apartments that they lived in. Not that the offer was any less sincere because of it.

He rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb idly. “We are almost there.”

"I certainly hope you're right." Meanwhile, yeah back at her apartment the complete opposite of what they just said was happening. That's real irony.

Squeezing his hand gently to return his gentle stroke, she nodded with a small smile. "Can't wait. The walk to this place has been really nice, minus the dog. But this place is really lovely. You certainly know how to treat your dates."

“I’d hope so. It’s been forever since I’ve gone on a date and I was hoping I hadn’t gotten rusty.” Sun wasn’t as flirt happy as Neptune. Blake had been the only girl at Beacon that he had his eye on. It’d been that way ever since he stepped off the boat.

And then they came up to a sushi restaurant. There was a decent amount of people inside, but it wasn’t absurdly packed. “Here we are.” He said before then starting to lead them inside.

"You're my first." She simply said with a small smile before looking up at where their destination was. She curiously tilted her head and looked around inside. The architecture was very gorgeous, the booths and tables rather unique but what made her cat ears twitch the most was the scent of fish lingering in the air. All kinds, at that. Tuna, salmon, herring, fugu, shrimps as well. Pardon the insinuation but it was positively orgasmic.

"...F-Fish? Is that was this place is?" She asked, looking back up at Sun.

And when she says that, a smile tugs at Sun’s lips. “Picked that up pretty easily, didn’t you?” The scent of fish was pretty strong and familiar, though. But he didn’t know she was able to pick out just what kinds of fish this place had in here.

“This place serves sushi. Both Yang and Weiss mentioned to me that a certain Faunus loved Tuna after I told them where I was taking you so..it made me feel just that much more confident in my choice.”

"There was- a lot of fish in the air around here but actually stepping in, yes. I think I've picked up like 10 types." She said rather shyly before she glanced down with a faint blush of embarrassment. More of her secrets were getting out?

"Oh- they said that?" She asked, rubbing her cheek. "I tried to not eat that much when I was around them..."

His smile grew even bigger at hearing that. She identified ten types of fish just by the smell. This place was definitely going to get another visit from the two of them.

"I can't tell how many types there were in here. Good to know I can trust your nose to help me out with that." He couldn't help but be amused at her embarrassment. "They did. Kind of hard to hide things from the people that you live with."

"I hid my ears for a long while- sort of." She said while rubbing her arm shyly and cat ears folding back again. "You weren't told you anything else, were you?" She asked and glanced up sheepishly at him.

"Hopefully nothing embarrassing?"
