Milla Maxwell
She has no friends yet, but she celebrated by buying herself dinner and a bottle of wine liquor made with oranges that she once found she liked. Tipsy Spirit Lord!
[Open]
Come on now, Milla... you can still make it home...! [And cue a slip.] Whoa--! [She lands in a snow bank, but instead of getting up she just kind of lays there. It's amazing how she's able to keep from freezing in her outfit.]
This snow is very comfortable! But cold. Very cold. [She pushes herself up and staggers to her feet. It was about that time she realized that she wasn't sure where the hotel was.]
Team Dad to the rescue
Well, at least the rest of the day had gone pretty smooth. Now all he wanted to do was head home, crack open a beer and read a book.
Except it looked like that wasn't going to happen either, when he catches sight of a familiar mass of blonde hair attached to a woman stumbling along the snowy streets. It looks like his work is never done.]
Hey. [He calls from the window, bringing his truck to a stop across the road.] You doing okay over there?
Re: Team Dad to the rescue
[Pushing with her hands, she lifts her face from the snow, all snow-beareded and everything.] I am unwell, Harry.
no subject
Fwump! There it is.]
You don't say.
[He opens up the door of his truck and climbs out to walk over and offer her a hand up out of the snow.]
Looks like the great Lord Maxwell had a few too many tonight.

I'm sorry you have to see me this way. It's... far from a first impression I'd want to make.
no subject
[He'll walk along with her, making sure she's good and steady on her feet and also gently lead her away from the driver's seat and around to the passenger side.]
Don't worry about it, it's not the worst first impression I've ever seen. Or made for that matter.
[He pauses for a second, frowning a bit and a second later, his big coat drops over her shoulders.]
Here. You've gotta be freezing dressed like that out here.

Ice Kiiiiiiiiiiing
Ice King, you home? [Look at that, she even remembers not to call out Simon.]
Re: Ice Kiiiiiiiiiiing
[He's splashing about in his tub, getting Gunter all wet. The poor Penguin is quacking about (or whatever sound those darn birds make) in protest, but Ice King isn't listening. But then he hears Marceline, and he perks up.]
Marceline? Oh! Uh... comiiiing! Hold on doll-face.
[He gets up, scrambles out of his tub, trips, falls, gets back up, towels off, throws on his robes, and scuttles on out with a big ol' smile.]
Marcy! Baby! Darling! What brings you to my humble abode, mmh? Oh, did you come to jam out? Let me get my drum--
[Noticing the cat, his brow furrows.] What's with the furry baby?
no subject
She's just opening her mouth to say why she came, when he notices the cat. And then calls it a furry baby.] It's a cat. [She pauses, before holding it out under it's forelegs so he can get a full view of it, especially the markings.] See? Doesn't it remind you of anything? [She'd seen the ginger bits and it had reminded her of the cat in those stories you had written, and she'd thought you'd like it.]
no subject
Hmmm...
[He looks up at her from his hunched over position.] Reminds me of... Jake? Oh! Abracawhatshisface! Did I get it right? '3'
no subject
What? No! It looks like the cat in those stupid 'fiona and cake' stories you were telling. Okay, maybe not exactly the same, but close enough! [She turns the cat - who apparently has enough of a calm temperament to be put up with this (She had to make sure the thing wasn't going to be clawing Ice King's face off every time he tried to pull it around or dress it stupidly or something like the dingus he can be) - to look at it. It's definitely not the exact same, but it's really close! She didn't do a terrible job! She turns it back.] Look.
no subject
[When she turns the cat about to show it off to him, he cocks a brow again. He looks from the cat's fur patterns to Marcy's face, then back to the cat's face, then to Marcy's again.]
Oh Marcy, Marcy, don't feel bad! [He smiles in an apologetic manner, giving himself a few taps on the noggin.] My memory just ain't what it used to be! I'm an ol' fogey y'know. You try gettin' to be half my age and remembering things. Give 'er here! [He reaches out and takes the cat from Marceline and looks at it.]
Sure looks like a Cake alright! Heh...
[Oh my glob, he's trying to be nice to her! His lack of memory is more of a constant frustration to her than he even knows, but it seems for this slight he's trying to white-lie her into not feeling so angry with him. She can probably tell though - he's not that great at acting.] Was this little fluff-ball a Christmas prezzie for lil' ol' me? I'll have to put it with the others.
[He turns to an ice table with a little card marked 'rad presents.' It's empty. He sets the cat down on it and pats its head.]

[There's a knock on Jaune's door before Orihime flees the scene. On his doorstep is ANOTHER MET! ...Just kidding. It's a Red Velvet Cake, cutely decorated with snowflakes fashioned from drizzled white chocolate, and a card that says: "Merry Christmas, Arc-san! Thank you for the chocolates, they were super good. --Orihime"

[Jaune is such a hit with the ladies. Now he's all confident and smug. Merry Christmas indeed!]

[Did someone just...ask her out on a date...?]
[Her face is too red for video, so she sends a text.]
I'd love to.
no subject
[Jaune always feels so jazzed whenever Raye agrees to hang out with him, because at this point he sees it the same way she does - a date. He asked a girl out and she said yes! To Jaune, that's pretty much the best thing ever and nothing could compare. The fact that it's Raye in particular just makes him all the more happy. The guy is quickly starting to adore Raye!]
[He shoots a text back, grinning wide the whole time like a dope.]
Awesome! Anywhere you wanna go, any time, just name it! I'll ditch Harry if I gotta.

After work is fine. It isn't as if I have a full schedule in this place. As long as you have enough time to go home and clean up, any hour is okay with me.
[But where should they eat?]
I like Thai food.
no subject
Yea, okay, after work then lol
I donno what Thai food even is
dunno*
i bet i'll eat it anyway lol so let's do that
[Of course, Jaune's thinking it's pronounced "thigh" food.]
no subject
It's a little spicy, but not too much. I think you'll like it. Friday?
(no subject)
no subject
This is... actually very nice, Jaune. Thank you.
[Suddenly that video game she'd gotten him seemed a bit lame.]
no subject
fourth-wallget a chess set than you?]Aw, it was nothing. I like your gift too! I'm gonna be playing games for ages... and really, if you think about it, a gift you end up using for a long time is a great gift!
