Salama
11 February 2015 @ 12:34 am
WHO: Grimmjow and Salama
WHAT: Cupid's Arrow Mishap...
WHERE: Somewhere in Genessia (very specific)
WHEN: Midday.
WARNINGS: Grimmjow. And Salama. Cupid Arrow. Vocalized hashtags. Selfies. Do you really need more warning than that it's an absolute disaster waiting to happen...

[ Of all the things that Salama wanted to do, look for arrows wasn't really one of them. So she wasn't. She was mostly doing what she usually was enthused with doing, typing on her phone. You know, on her way the hell out of Genessia because a blizzard isn't her thing. Nova City always seems to have good weather, so that's where Salama's on her way too right now, hopping through the snow-covered ground because you know what, scorching the whole street is a fire hazard and not everyone is as heat-resistant as she is. (She still has a couple of floating flames following her both in front and in the back to keep her warm.

And you know, maybe throw a snowball at an innocent passerby while they're not looking. You know, whatever, reach into the snow blindly. It's worth it.

The weird dog said to be careful, which is basically the same as asking Salama not to be careful.

Either way, a certain individual named Grimmjow is getting a snowball to the back of the head if he isn't paying attention. ]

Izanami-no-Okami

[Since Yukiko had given Izanami the advice to actually ask the answers to the questions about humanity that still plagued her, the Goddess had been keeping the suggestion in the back of her mind. It seemed a logical solution, that amazingly had never occurred to her until now.

She felt a little anxious, though. What sort of answers would she get, from this? Would they get her any closer to understanding people, or only serve to confuse her further? Would people even be honest in their replies?

Having no wish to reveal herself to everyone in Genessia, she carefully worked out how to leave the message anonymous.]

For those here who call yourselves human, I have some questions, if you would be so kind as to humour them.

What is it that truly drives you? That gives you enough happiness you would fight to achieve or preserve it?

Do humanity need their Gods, or has the time come for them to move forward alone, without their guidance… as those in within my world have chosen for themselves. If so, does that mean the role of their Creators is complete?

If you had the choice to bear witness to a painful truth, or to remain lost within a fog of comforting lies, which would you choose? Naivety seems the most painless, so then why open your eyes and fight for truth?

[…Was that all? There were so many things to ask, and so little in the way of answers. Perhaps, though, it was best to stop there. She could always ask anyone who responded further questions.]

I appreciate any insight you can offer me.

[There's a dead body laying in the streets just outside the bay, visible through the video camera. It appears the body was holding the walkie stretched before it died, which must have been pretty recent since the feed just started--- and, oh. The body's now twitching, and its head raises up in a zombie like fashion. Only it's not a zombie, it's a ponytailed girl, weakly lifting her face off the sidewalk. She struggles momentarily, wavering, before she gasps out]

F---food..... Fooooooooood..... [ And then she's down again. Somebody looks exhausted, that's for sure.]

[...The situation utterly baffled Eas. Kidnapped, whisked away to a strange world, encouraged to make "the best of it" by a hologram of a girl barely older than her. She didn't have the time or patience for it, she had a mission to accomplish and this wasn't going to stand in her way.

...Except there was no sorrow gauge here for her to fill which meant there was no way to draw out Infinity, at least not yet. By all means if she were to make one for this world, she'd be able to fill it and capture Infinity so that her lord Moebius would be able to take over this world and all worlds just as planned.

She couldn't help but smirk. Being trapped here wouldn't prevent her completing her mission, it only serve to delay her. Unfortunately she would have to play this worlds' little game for now. She have to get a job and support herself until she could continue on with her mission.

She turned her attention to the video phone, she wasn't exactly sure which identity would serve her best here at the moment so decided it would be best not reveal herself right away.]

I've just arrived in this world and am in need of employment. Will consider offers once suitable lodging has been found.

[Flawless.]

[The second part is sent out in general.]

Have you ever not met someone face to face, but felt like you knew them really well anyway? If you left them when you got here, how do you handle it?
