WHAT: Continuation from here
WHERE: A cafe in Genessia, then finding a place to stay for the night(s)
WHEN: April 26

After parting ways with Koishi, Lucy fell into a troubled silence again, and oddly enough, not particularly conversational when normally she'd be chattering away with Natsu on the way to the cafe. She was so deep in thought, in fact, that she almost missed the cafe when the approached it, stopping short and pivoting to look at the front of the display.

"Oh - right. Well, I ...I guess here should be good, right?" She glanced in Natsu's direction, though she wasn't quite able to meet his eyes, her gaze sliding away from his face quickly as she made her wayh towards the door. Nothing wrong here at alllllllll no sir. ...

Actually, she knew Natsu must have picked up on her reluctance, and as polite as she'd been when she rejected Koishi's offer, it still must have come out harsh somehow. She kind of hoped he wouldn't press her regarding her mood, but she knew he would. At least, having gone through the same thing she had, he would understand her reasoning. She hoped.

004: Nighttime Wanderings/A Cage of Bones [Various Action, OPEN]  
[Action 1, The Shrine, 8th May (early evening)]



[Izanami had some time before she was due to start work that day, so she finally made up her mind to go and visit the shrine on her way there. She was dressed in her work uniform, using her human guise as she always did in public. It was a peaceful day, and the sunset over the horizon gave the place a gentle golden light.

It felt a little strange, perhaps, to visit a Shinto shrine like this, considering she was a Shinto Goddess. Was it too egotistical of her? Who knows. For now, at least, she just wanted to make sure the place was being cared for responsibly.]


[Action 2, Schnee Company Welcoming and Travel Services, 8th May (night)]



[As usual, Izanami came into work in good time - just enough to have a cup of coffee and a friendly chat with her colleagues before her shift started. She sighed, folding her arms as she waited for the coffee machine to finish her drink.

She can be found greeting the newcomers at the front desk throughout the night, giving them advice on where to go and how to deal with their new situation.

After work, she takes her time slipping her coat and jacket on, in case anyone wants to talk to her before she leaves.]


[Action 3, Everglade City limits, 9th May (early morning)]



[She'd been considering this for a little while now, but never really had the opportunity. Truth be told, there was no reason this occasion should be better than any other, but today was the day she finally decided to investigate the barriers.

Finally, she tore herself away, stumbling back and collapsing on the grass moments later. The skeletal arms curled around her like wilting flowers.]


[Action 4, Castlevania, 9th May (early afternoon)]



[When she'd finally managed to slip back to the Castlevania Archway, she stumbled a little as she headed into the open courtyard. Izanami couldn't hide the breaks in her human guise thanks to the loss of power, revealing once again the red, rotten bones beneath.

Her skeletal hands pulled the white burial shroud closer around herself. Right now, she just needed to rest and recover her strength. Whatever the barrier had done to her when she tried to break through it, the Goddess had been significantly weakened.]
