[ Of course, with all the good that's happened in her life so far, there's also been a considerable amount of bad things that have happened. Often when those moments occurred, she found solace in her faith the most. When Sertoria found a church, she was more than delighted to see what it had to offer. In truth, she always felt somewhat at home in a church than any other place in the world. Fancy that, hm?
As she walked inside, her form felt warmth, acceptance -- as if an old friend was here with her. Her footsteps echoed the otherwise quiet hallway, eyes observing the rows of pews before she ended at the altar. There's a small smile given to the cross that hangs on the wall, her form kneeling down with her hands clasped in front of her.
Maybe to some people it's silly or unnecessary to pray, but to her she feels like maybe it might help at least something. Those around are certainly free to notice her or perhaps join in with her session. ]

[ The moment that Sertoria returns home from her praying session, she looks like a huge weight's been lifted off of her shoulders. She waves to anyone who greets her, offering them a smile before walking over to the kitchen. She knows she has to get started on dinner and she doesn't mind one bit. In fact, it's because of them that she's felt accepted, even though she's not entirely human.
...Perhaps she can even call them her second family at this point, too. Everything feels like it's falling into place and she's just utterly delighted at this point. ]

We have had our equal share of good and bad happen here, so what do you do to keep moving forward? Do you meditate? Do you pray? As for me, I pray for a better tomorrow for not just myself, but for my friends and family both here and at home.
I am merely curious since we all deal with things differently. [ And it might be a good idea to organize something so as to help those out who are on the brink of despair. ]
