[For a while, Cipher was getting ready to write off the majority of this realm as 'boring' with only a few points of interests here and there. After all, he spent his days doing one of three things: living Liam's life as a con artist, stalking the dark streets of Everglade to feed, or simply resting with his generals in the walls of his subarchway's temple. But it seemed with this latest newspaper, things had potentially started to get interesting. A distorted, echoed chuckle rises from his throat as he begins to speak in his usual distorted, doubled voice.]

And here I had thought this place was becoming dull. Perhaps I must learn to be more patient, as it seems quite a few seeds of chaos have been planted. The Hands of Decay, the Gray Feather Guild, and a risky play by Nova City's Guardian.

[Of course, there was still the unknown factor that is Diablo. But he can't go giving that surprise away, can he?]

I can only hope mortals will not prove themselves again to be disappointing, but such is to be expected of those who believe they carry more power and influence than they really do.

[He seems to hum to himself as he then thinks aloud.]

I do wonder in particular, how long it will be before that guild of halfbreeds is crushed.

[ Genessia's Integrity is not a paper that has any; respectable outlets don't carry it- willingly, anyway. The paper has a mysterious tendency to show up in larger venues anyway, complete with inventory and sales history, although if you tried to track the order you'd have to dig through layers of complicated subcontractors and it would just dead-end with companies that either no longer, or never have, existed. ]

Schnee Family Threatens Critics with Violence



Winter Schnee went onto the network yesterday in an uncontrollable rage, threatening to attack anyone who so much as mispronounced the Schnee name. This comes on the heels of Nova City Guardian Weiss Schnee pardoning several high profile violent criminals, continuing the family's legacy of advocating violent crime.

Schnee's petulant tirade seems to have been sparked by an anonymous internet meme that was posted to the network, with topics ranging from 'best' and 'worst' person, to 'who has the nicest ass' and 'where is the best place in Genessia to eat.'

We can only hope that she doesn't discover the review section of the Genessia Tribune.


Fayren Officially the Creepiest City



Move over, Everglade!

Fayren's Guardian, Satori Komeji, announced a new magical-doll-based police force. The new 'Doll Corps' is capable and willing to enforce the guardian's will by any means necessary, and will do so without any input from residents, authorities or any kind of accountability or supervision. "The purpose of the Doll Corps is the...violent capture and holding of criminals," she explained. "More violent or resistant individuals, of course, will be subdued with...harm."

I guess you could say Fayren is going... to the dolls.

[Waking up when he didn't remember falling asleep had never ended well with Clay. He sat up quickly in the coffin, thing, his hand going to the grip of the pistol nestled in his shoulder holster, something he's pleased to see he's still wearing.

Disoriented by the surroundings, he looks down briefly to note the weight that had been sitting on his chest and palms the box before climbing out. His telepathy constantly idling tells him there's no one in the immediate vicinity of wherever the hell this is and he re-holsters his pistol to take a look at the box's contents.

He'll look up toward the entrance as soon as he senses any mind that comes into the tunnel, and they should be prepared for a pistol aimed at them, purely defensive obviously.]

[The voice that comes over the audio feed is deep, resonating, and has an accent that isn't place-able as being from any one region of the U.S. His first statement isn't in English, nor does it carry a heavy English accent. It's in Tagalog, if anyone speaks it, and it roughly translates to "hey, Shadow Boy, if you're around here, sound off."]

[Clay isn't going to just choose a place to live without knowing the lay of the city, so he can be found in various locations throughout Genessia City. According to the brochure (why does an inter-dimensional prison have a brochure, by the way? Is it just that much better than all the other inter-dimensional prisons there are to choose from?) Genessia City is the most like the environment he has to choose from, even though his necklace, also know has he newest pocket accessory, suggest otherwise.

He'll be ducking into various shops, bars, and the like, just to get an idea of the city, but he can also be encountered along the many streets.]

[She finally had it. She finally got the Dragon Flame and now she could use it to summon the Army of Darkness. However it became rather obvious that she was not in Magix because this hell hole seemed to nice. It made her sick to her stomach. As she left the Bay, she made sure she still had the powers and was glad that was still the case.

However the moment she saw the hologram it was enough to make her frown, briefly before laughing.]

[Her hand extends briefly, sending a blast of ice at it, causing it to freeze over. She knew that once in was encases, no one should be able to get them out, not unless you had fire powers at least. With a smirk she could't help but be amused.

Now all she had left to do was find out where she was and if something annoyed her, she would freeze it. Sorry Genessia, Winter is here again.]

[He hadn't seen his boss in a while, it worried him slightly and no one has said anything about him being missing, so he didn't know what was going on exactly. But he knew deep down that Loki would always be around, so it must have meant one of two things. Either he was kidnapped, which he felt was rather unlikely considering it was Loki, so that left the other option. Like Rei he must have suddenly vanished. Which sucked.

Why do people he cared about always leave? or die in some cases. It made him wonder if he had bad luck or if this world just royally sucked. He was just hoping that it won't keep happening anymore. There were just some people he knew he would get heartbroken over if they left.

As he turned on the device, it was obvious that he was a little unhappy if only for a moment.]

I haven't seen Loki in a few days and I'm worried he isn't here anymore. If that is true it means his shop might be in trouble. However, I'll be making sure that doesn't happen.

[He doesn't want this place to close or anything, so if he has to he would take over. But he knew what else he wanted to talk about he shouldn't be sad about, instead a smile appears on his lips.]

Although I was planning on doing this before that, but I was planning to start creating sweets based on people. If you don't understand what I mean. I created one recently that if you eat it it gets hotter and hotter in your mouth and I'm planning on naming it after Loki.

[He just hoped that it made sense.]
