Outside the Dream Docks
[Rapunzel had gone in based on sheer curiosity. She just wanted to see if she achieved her dream on her birth and now she was at least aware that she did and she couldn't be any happier about that. But she had also learned a lot that she was honestly not expecting. Such as who she really is. A princess of all things.

Another was developing feelings for the person she had been travelling with and learning a bit about him. But with that in mind, there had been something she was slowly realising now, in Genessia that had been there since February, but she just mostly brushed it off. She figured because of everything she had remembered now doing something about it, while might be a good idea, might also end up badly too.

So she once again tried to brush it off and started to walk from the dream docks a new determination on her face and a spring in her step.]

I achieved my dream on my birthday. Might as well help others achieve their dreams on it too.

Around All the Cities
[Rapunzel was carrying around what appeared to be a basket of some kind. What was within the basket appeared to be paper of some kind. When she spots someone she runs on over to them, a wide smile upon her face as she held out a slip of paper.]

Here this is for you. For my birthday I decided to help make peoples dreams come true. So have an IOU which you can exchange for my help at any time you would like. Any dream you have here I will want to help achieve. [She moved her free hand to her ear as she started to play with some of her hair which was currently at least tied up somehow.] Within limits, I mean there are probably some I might not be able to do, but I will try. [She looked over once again.]

Just let me know what though and give that paper when you need to. [A pause.]

Oh... One more thing... You look lovely by the way.

Martha Jones
[ACTION] For a girl guarding a pair of earrings

[There's a heaviness in her chest that wasn't there when she got out of sanitation. Her fingers still ache and her brain...feels like overpulled taffy. Stiff and flavorless. Her eyelids are too heavy to lift, and all she wants is to go back to sleep for a year.]

No!

[Her own shout forces her lids up and now her heavy chest is pounding like she just outran a pack of Toclafanes and--]

What the bloody hell? [she demands of the space she's sealed into. Like a coffin.] No. No. No!!!

[She cannot die here. She cannot die of pneumonia. She cannot die of whatever the Drast are doing to her. She cannot.

If her life ends here, the world ends with it. She's only half done. The Doctor's waiting for her. Jack is waiting for her. Her family is waiting for her.

So she will not panic and use up her oxygen. She will not wait for the Drast to do whatever they plan to do to her. No.

She feels around with her blistered, bruised, torn fingers and finds--a box? No broken ribs. She exhales hard. No cough.]

Right, then.

[She tries to sit up and finds the coffin opens easily. No one seems to be running her direction with a weapon. It feels...strangely calm and meditative.]

Screw that. [No way she's waiting around for whatever's coming. Ignoring her exhaustion, she gets up and out, then crouches low and looks for a door.]

* * *
[Half an hour later, she's heard the holographic spiel and doesn't believe a word of it. She stares down at the phone in her hand, deeply suspicious. There's no one she can call without alerting the Drast, or the Toclafane, or the Master. A shudder runs through her at the thought maybe that's what's happened. Maybe the Master found her and she's on the Valiant.

Heart pounding again, she slips outside without speaking to anyone. Who can she possibly trust? She's hungry, though. So very very hungry.

Avoiding restaurants and food carts, she looks for a small, hole in the wall convenience mart. Instinct says it's less likely to watched, but even so, she bypasses the first two she finds, watching for a tail. Finding none, she ducks into the third, tries to look inconspicuous while she gathers up the few sad pieces of fruit, a tin of biscuits, water bottles, and first aid for her fingers and split lip.

After paying with the red money, she doctors herself with her back to a building and her eyes on the street. Still no one is paying attention to her, so she takes a risk and heads to a shrine. There, she sits in the grass, watching people and scanning the Network to see what she can learn. Eventually, she begins the voice message below]

[VOICE] For the world
[There is no video feed. No introduction. And although she's unfamiliar with the network, the speaker has done her best to make herself anonymous]

I would like you to listen to me. I know you're afraid, and you have every right to be. But there is still hope. You are not alone. We are not alone.

You may ask who I am to say this. Some may think you know. But my name doesn't matter. There's someone else. The man who sent me out here [wherever here is, it doesn't matter. the story is the same] to spread the word. His name is the Doctor...[She stops, puts her phone away, and starts moving again. She can't risk being here when they come. She'll have to continue the story from another location.]

---
[[ooc: This is both mine and Martha's first open post. Please let me know if I've messed something up! Feel free to find Martha near the shrine, running away from it, or around the city trying to be inconspicuous. If you want to respond to the voice post, please, please do, because this is really important to her! I've left it open whether or not she's been successful at being anonymous, because it's a new network for her. I'm not fussed whether you answer her as anon or otherwise. In general I'm not fussed! I just want to play with you. <3]]

Hey guys! Happy first official day of summer!

[Dove’s as bright eyed and playful as usual, but it seems like maybe this time, she’s got some help. She’s obviously not the one holding her phone; instead, she’s hanging out under a poolside media tent, sunglasses hanging lazily from one hand while the other keeps her hair back as the breeze attempts to toss it in her face.]

We thought today would be a perfect opportunity to go ahead and share the love: Fama Talent Agency is throwing a beach party, and you’re all invited! I, Dove Eden, [She motions to herself because while her face and body is definitely out there, her name might not be as well known just yet.] will be your active host, but all of your favorites will be there: models, musicians, actors and actresses, designers…

[She shrugs. It’s going to be a big event with lots of pretty faces, entertainment, and probably a lot of big egos.

Not that she isn’t thrilled. That much is absolutely obvious- she’s glowing.]

You’ll start seeing these around town this weekend, [she explains, trading that volleyball for a colorful flyer and turning it toward the camera.] Check them out for the fine print, but the party starts Friday afternoon, July 6 on Fayren’s gorgeous beach! Look for the stage where your favorite artists will be performing- you really won’t be able to miss it, and if you do, you can always look for the jet skis… the kites… or the giant grill… or the drink stands or photo booths… maybe some parachutes. [Yes, she’s teasing you with just a sample of the fun things to come.] If you’re really running late, there will be bonfires to lead the way.

[She blinks, as if she’s remembered something.]Oh, and night-friendly friends don’t worry- there’ll be plenty to do after the sun sets, well into the morning if you’re up for it. [She is.] I’m personally pretty pumped about blacklight volleyball, but- [Another shrug. Come on, who doesn’t like body paint?] -to each their own.

There’s plenty to do, lots of people to meet, and it’s going to be an absolute blast, so grab your favorite bikini, trunks, and flip-flops, come see us, and enjoy the sand and sun!

If anyone has any questions, we’ve wrapped up this shoot and I do not plan on leaving this pool for a while, so... [Feel free to blow up her phone.]

[She looks about ready to wrap things up and go back to that yummy looking drink and a nearby lounge chair, but then someone behind the camera mentions something and she nods before addressing her audience again.] Oh, yeah-

Fama family be sure to check your emails. If you haven’t already spoken with your agents or assistants, they’ve got some information for you. [Aka, quite a few of you are expected to show up early for ‘work’. Photoshoot, anyone?]

(I) [Action]

( confusion is an understatement. one moment he's at ike's side, dutifully listening to his daily complaints regarding nobles and their "stupid, bloated faces," and then next he's woken in some coffin structure, with a device he can't make heads or tails of, ugly jewelry, and currency he has never seen.

the see-through woman outside who attempts some form of...explanation, is also one he carries no recognition towards. soren barely listens to a fourth of what she tells him because he's very distracted by repeatedly sticking his hand through her while she speaks. this is some high-level magic, where is the actual body?

anyway, he does hear the word kidnap and that is. certainly a problem. with the war ended, he's not sure who would be interested in kidnapping him, but certain scenarios are favorable compared to others - for instance, he'd at least like to know he isn't in daein. the architecture suggests otherwise, but...

he happens upon someone in his cautious wandering, and though their clothing looks strange, he can denote that they seem to be a civilian. let's approach. )

You there ( off to a great start!!! ) do you know where I could find the nearest library? Or inform me as to what faction of the continent we're in?

( the buildings are large and the technology is advanced...overly advanced, but uh- )

Begnion, perhaps?

(II) [Voice]

( soren prides himself on his intelligence, but figuring out the tiny device he woke up with takes him a far longer time than he'd care to admit. he manages, somehow, to access the least invasive method. he'd rather not have his face plastered all over potential enemy territory, thanks. )

I'm not sure what this is, but if I am using it correctly and others are hearing my words, then I ask that anyone with information on the whereabouts of the Greil Mercenaries contact me directly and immediately.

( he pauses for a moment, studying the device in his hand before bringing it slightly closer to his face. then, in a much softer, almost pleading tone: )

Ike, if you can hear this...please find me.

[ bzzzpt Prepare yourselves, deep blue eyes are peering into the camera view with a furrow to a thin brow. The eyes pull back as Sora moves his head back and his mouth is gaping while he looks to the device. It is an expression of amusement. And soon he will exclaim..]

This.... is the best thing that has ever been given to me... ever! I cannot even, Gramps!? Are you here? This is the best little thing you ever did make! How much will this go? Did you synthesize it?! Did you take the blueprints from Merlin?! This is magic!! Why, it's like I'm on television! I am the television!

HELLO! Who is receiving me?! I'm looking for my friends, and~or friends as well.

I'm Sora!
