necklaces are all trouble with not enough hands

READ ME it said. Cheshire chuckled when he read the screaming letters, and considered not reading whatever it was that wanted to be read. But he's in a new story now, isn't he? He should at least get familiar with the setting.

He had expected to wander back into Wonderland after saying his farewells to Shii-chan, Fiery-chan and San-chan but it seemed the Dream Gate had other plans.

He fingered the little bottle hanging in a thin chain around his neck, ascertaining that it really had happened. Or maybe he was still dreaming. But the bottled miracle he received from the female god was still where he remembered and the leather of his collar was familiarly pressing against his neck. He removed it, but it turned out that it had lost the ability to turn into a communication device. Well, that was alright. He doubted he could contact anyone he met in Somarium any more. It felt a little sad.

But dwelling was no good! You might get devoured if you did and Cheshire couldn't afford to disappear just yet, because he still had a role to play in the game.

He put the collar back on with some trouble (only having one hand could be so troublesome) but then he finally managed.  It was worse with this new necklace, though. He frowned lightly at the golden thing with blue tinted details.

"Now how do I put you on, I wonder."

Seems he's got a problem.

"You can call me Yuuki." She said with a small smile she was at least glad that she was helping in some way. She wasn't sure what to say next, but she figured she should check if they wanted more help than just putting on a necklace.

"So once your necklace is on do you want someone to show you around?"

[trickycat]

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Yuuki-san. I'm the Cheshire Cat." He does a bit of a flourished bow, as good as he can with only one arm.

"I'm sure I will be looking around everywhere a lot, but a basic run-through would be wonderful."

"Nice to meet you um... Cheshire Cat. That's a name that certainly stands out." She gave a little chuckle as she said that. It honestly would make her remember it at least.

"It depends on what you mean by basic? I mean I could tell you about the cities and give a basic detail about them. It would help with choosing which one you'd want to live at."

[trickycat]

"Not where I'm from." It only specifies his role in the game. An important role, granted, but since the main roles had names like his, it really was nothing remarkable at all.

Hmmm, that did sound like a good idea. He nods in reply.

"Okay...Well lets start off here. We're in a place known as Genessia. As you can tell compared to the other cities you'll discover that this one is simple and easy to live in for anyone. Easy to get a job or create your own business."

She found that Genessia for her was the easiest one to explain even though she didn't live there anymore.

"Now you have Everglade, which I live at and well... lets just say it's the spookiest one out of them all and then Nova City is the more advanced and Attelon is a more peaceful and simple verion of Everglade and then you have Fayren which is kind of like what one might read in a story book."

Oh but what kind of story book? There were so many kinds, like the one he was from. And Wonderland was quite outrageous even for the outrageous settings. Most of all the current Wonderland, with the game system currently in play.

"So for anyone who wants the most easy lifestyle, this place is the best to choose to live in, then."

She gives a small nod. That was the conclusion she had come to anyway. She didn't mind where she lived even if it was at times rather spooky.

"That or Attleton are probably the easiest to live in."

But living too comfortably didn't, unfortunately, sit right with him. He liked living comfortably, yes, but he also was used to the weirdness that was Wonderland, so it would be weird living too 'normally'.

"What is Attleon like, then?"

[kindprincess]

"I guess it would be considered what I'm sure some people would think normal. Nothing strange about it at all." She at least thought so even though she technically has never been there nor had any reason to.

"Were you thinking of living there?"

[trickycat]

Then that sounded quite boring. Life had to be interesting, and he needed good places to nap at.

"I'm not entirely sure. I believe I should have a look for myself before I decide."

[kindprincess]

"Ah, if you want to have a look then that's okay. You get a better idea that way after all." And she wasn't going to say otherwise. After all that is probably the best way to figure out what the right place for you is.

"It was nice to meet you by the way."

[trickycat]

And, as he is a gentleman (he isn't) of sorts, he presses his hand against his chest and gives her a bow. He doesn't have a second hand to lift one of hers to kiss, like a true gentleman would do. "You too, Miss. And thank you for the help."

She smiled slightly "You're welcome and good luck with being here." And as she said she she turned around and started to head off. She had things that she needed to do around here before heading off to work.
