So much has changed.
{ It's been a long time since he's shown his face, hasn't it? He's been keeping himself shut in ever since a certain date with a certain First Master. Maybe it was boredom, maybe it was something else, but now, all of a sudden, he feels like making a post to the network. He's seating in a dark room, lit mostly by candles that seem to be of a magical origin. Tartaros members might recognize it as his and Sayla's (and Suigintou's) bedroom. }
This is not the same world I arrived at so long ago. More people have come, and gone. And we are still no closer to knowing why, exactly, we were brought here.
{ Zeref sighs, and turns the page of a book in his lap. It was a book Sayla recommended to him, and so far, he is indeed enjoying it. }
I suppose it's refreshing to see that a world can change so much in so little time. That's certainly not the case in my own world... but perhaps it's a good sign.

If that is what Zeref-sama wishes, Marde Guille does not require gratitude. We are simply doing what is required.

I'm not a member of Tartaros, much less its Guild Master. { That event notwithstanding. Zeref's memories of it were rather fuzzy. } I'm not in any position more than to give advice. I'd only recommend subtlety, so as not to draw too much attention. From what I understand, that is Tartaros' specialty.
{ Whatever Tartaros was up to up until the attack on the Magic Council, nobody knows, Zeref included. He'd heard they sent Franmalth to try and follow Grimoire Heart to Zeref's location, but he probably ran into problems with Mavis' barrier, which only Hades knew how to get passed. Beyond that, if Tartaros did do anything, they either never got caught... or never left any witnesses. }
And luckily, Sayla is here, for that.

Tartaros will do such, without fail, Zeref-sama, and Marde Guille is capable of doing such things without leaving a trace.
[ He would not doubt that he could get information through people and then get rid of them. They would never be heard of again and of course, he wouldn't go out of his way to flaunt his abilities. Humans didn't need to know what he was capable of and many did not live long enough to tell the tale of Tataros' excessive power. ]

{ Of course, Marde Guille could invite Zeref to the guild, but... would that even be a good idea? From what Zeref understands, only Marde Guille (and presumably, E.N.D.) seem to be aware of the true reason why Zeref created them. }

[ Marde Guille would not recommend his master to be part of a guild that was created to pursue many things including ways to annihilate Zeref. That was one of his wishes after all. It was very much ingrained in Marde Guille's mind.
However, if Zeref wished to be part of Tartarus, he wouldn't have any objections. His loyalties were devoted to E.N.D. but Zeref was their creator. ]
Marde Guille will obtain all that Zeref-sama desires, without fail.
