[When Ty Lee went to sleep last night, she expected to wake up in the same jail cell she was left in. Waking up in some sort of cocoon in a completely different setting definitely confused her. Once she was awake, she didn't waste any time in trying to figure out what was going on. With the necklace under her shirt, she had the the packet under her arm after reading what she could before trying to use the communicator.]

So uhm... This probably sounds like a stupid question at this point, but...  Am I dreaming right now?

I get that we're in some strange new place from what I've found out so far, but it seems unlikely that I would be free to do as I wish considering what happened at home.

[She's not even elaborating on that because that seems like a bad idea right now.]

the zuko who has the device's feed turned on, but has yet to say anything — he's just staring, his good eye wide — likely doesn't look anything like the zuko she saw last. his hair is longer, long enough to pull back into a messy sort of knot to keep it out of his face when he's not wearing a crown, and the clothes he has on don't resemble any of the clothing they have in their world. he's not even wearing fire nation colors, nevermind the fact that he's sitting on what looks like a bed in a room that's very much a girl's room.

give him a minute. this is his worst nightmare come true. someone from home is here, someone who may very likely know he betrayed the fire nation and joined up wit the avatar and could ruin the carefully crafted balance he has here. zuko's relationship with azula is actually positive and healthy, the siblings closer than they've ever been, and all it takes is a overtly perky girl with a knack for wearing too much pink to make him fear losing that. ]

[At first she's happy to see a familiar face. Zuko was here too! But he looked... different.. Was his hair that long before? And that outfit... She's never seen Zuko in such casual, odd looking clothing before (unless you count the Boiling Rock prisoner gear).]

[ It wasn't exactly difficult for Weiss to figure out when something was up with Zuko. They made sure to spend time together basically every day when one of them didn't have work or things to do with other people, as evidenced by them literally just sitting in Weiss's room and checking the network.

Which meant she was scooting over from across from Zuko to peek over near his shoulder to see who it was, being the slightly nosy person she is. ]

[ She looked kind of like someone from Zuko's world, anyway. ]

[ shifting his gaze over to weiss for a second, zuko nods in answer to her question: yeah. yeah, she is. and he isn't exactly happy about it. ]

She's a friend of Azula's. The circus freak.

[ turning his attention back to the device and the circus freak in question: ] Like she said, it's not a dream. You're in Genessia now; a long, long way away from the Fire Nation.

[Azula had been busy the past few months with all the campaigning and issue resolutions in Fayren, that she wasn't able to check the Bay on a regular basis. But she had never lost hope. Every day, she still hoped to see her friends, most especially Ty Lee arrive in Genessia. But time goes on, and she had many responsibilities to handle.

However, it didn't stop her from acknowledging Ty Lee's presence. The moment she heard Ty Lee's first words, she recognized it immediately. She escaped as fast as she could from the meeting with the royal family to address her best friend's presence. It took a while, but when she escaped, she had a visible and positive curl on her lips.]

[Azula.. Oh my god. It was Azula.

She remembered what Zuko and Weiss told her. They had to pretend that they were still loyal to Azula. Hell... despite doing what she did to her at the Boiling Rock... Ty Lee was still loyal to her.

Azula was her best friend.... And she betrayed her to save Mai. She didn't regret saving Mai, but she did feel bad for what she had to do to do it. But Azula didn't remember the Boiling Rock from what Zuko told her.

As far as she knew, it never happened... And hopefully she'd never go to this "dream docks" to remember. So remembering their words, she forced on her usual smile, despite feeling bad for what happened.]

Azula! I knew you'd be here!

[That smile. That SMILE. She hasn't seen that in forever. Ty Lee was one of her most loyal friends. No matter what she did to Ty Lee, her friend never abandoned her. Not once. It's been too long. Too long since she had Ty Lee by her side. Mai and Ty Lee were the only ones who made her feel like being a Princess was a normal thing. Ty Lee was her best friend.

When Azula was sure no one was looking, she allowed herself to smile. A huge smile specially reserved for her dear friend.]

You certainly took your time arriving.

I trust Zuzu spared no time and immediately welcomed you already?

[Just seeing how her best friend was smiling to her. Really smiling. It sort of made her feel worse.

No. Ty Lee... Stop. She doesn't know. It never happened.]

You know... people to see, places to go.

Yep! I've already heard from him and his girlfriend. He was coming for me so I've just been waiting for him.

Oh, I wish we were all dreaming because then wed all be nicely tucked away in our little beds and snugly and warm.

[She kind of wished deep down this was all a dream. She wanted to be at home with her fellow ponies and not be the only one here.]

A few weeks, not long really.
