[It was finally a quiet moment after a long day with her teammates. Admittedly Yang had had to drag her along in the first place a little bit... dress-shopping was not her ideal day out, but things had gone well. Now, she finally had a quiet moment back at home and idly glanced down at her communicator.

... And nearly dropped it when her fingers suddenly went numb.

She sat stone still for a long time, just staring. Him? Here? She'd known that she'd face him again one day but... now?]

[Glancing around, she held the comm tight and made her way out of the apartment quickly, while she still had her moment and down the hall, only stopping when she was sure she was out of earshot, clutching the device to her chest.

She wasn't ready. Not yet. But... but there wasn't any other choice. She couldn't take the chance of the wrong person finding him first... if he found himself in a city full of humans as angry as he sounded....]

[She took a deep, slow breath and lifted the radio, flipping it over to audio for now and managed, in a quiet voice.]

... Adam.

[...oh. perfect.

he knew that he would one day run into her again, but so soon? he was still a mess of emotions after she up and decided to leave the white fang, to leave him. it was far too much for the bull faunus to handle.

upon hearing her voice his chest tightened. he was still angry, he was frustrated, but now hearing her sent a whole new problem his way. he felt it yet again, the betrayal, the hurt that she caused him. he longed to talk to blake like normal, but normal wasn't a luxury they had anymore.

Blake. [he clenched a fist by his side, attempting to get his breathing under control before he tried talking again. he had such a hard time getting his temper under control, but right now he was boiling over.]

And just why are you here....? Did you do this?

[She can't help but wince a little bit at his voice, grip tightening on the radio. Would he even listen to her now, after what she did?

But then, she was also the only person he MIGHT listen to right now. Another breath, to make sure her voice is as calm as she can make it.]

Adam, calm down and listen to me. I didn't do this and neither did anybody else that you're going to meet. We were all brought here the same way that you were.

[Yang was just coming out of the bathroom, gold tufts of hair sticking out of her towel turban, when she saw a flash of black darting out the door. Huh? What's that all about? Seeing that Weiss and Ruby aren't immediately close by, she pads out on bare feet to follow.]

[For shame, Yang, roaming the halls in a bathrobe.]

[She sidles up to Blake who's staring intently down at her radio, and announces herself in a whisper just in case.]

[As focused as she was, Blake barely notices Yang until she's right there. And there's something... different in her expression when she looks up at Yang and gives her a quick shake of her head.]

[And she turns back to her hushed conversation on the radio, that weird, unnatural expression still in place. Like she's seen a ghost.]
