I ❄ ＦＲＯＳＴ 【Action】

 [If anyone happens to be by The Bay, they might notice that the water seems to have frozen. That wouldn't be so strange given the season, but then there's that trail of ice that leads out of the bay. If you follow the ice, you might even notice something that does not fit in the setting.

A giant ice palace. Like... literal ice. Although it is more like ice art than it is an actual building. If you decide to wander in, you might see the Ice Queen herself standing by the balcony inside of the ice palace. 

Elsa hasn't even bothered to tried to use the communicator just yet. What is this foreign technology? She may have had more control on her powers now, but that didn't mean they were perfect. The ice trail and frozen Bay would eventually melt. But for now...]

Hey, What are you doing in here?

[Wow. Real friendly, Elsa.]

[What? There were other people with powers like hers? But... With that sudden heat... it was starting to melt the ice around here. With no intentions to hide her powers, she tried to keep up with the heat in order to keep her ice walls up.]

Yes, of course. I'm sorry to concern you, but I mean no harm here.

I'm sorry, a waterbender?

Your abilities. [ he pointed them out casually, as if they weren't the big deal her people made of them initially. and to the fire prince, they aren't. ] Your, uh, ice powers? I don't know what else to call them. Where I'm from, waterbenders have that talent.

Oh. Well I.. I'm not a waterbender. I was born with these powers, and they've caused quite a problem in the past, but everything is okay now.

[Repairing the melted areas, she then turned back to him.]

I wasn't aware that there were other people that had similar powers.

[ zuko took note of what she was doing, and bowed his head to her. ]

I apologize; I'm afraid that's my doing. I run hot.

[ he held a hand out, bending a small flame into his palm. ]

You're not the only person with powers.

[She's very hesitant to ask but...]

Your powers... Have they... made it hard for you to live your life?

[ he shook his head, a little bewildered by her question. ]

No. Why would it?

[ if anything, his life was significantly easier (the portions that could be considered easy, anyway) because he was born a bender. had he not, likely would've been more shunned. non-bending members of the royal family weren't unheard of, but the benders were the ones that typically flourished in their positions and on the throne. ]

Seems to me like it is, but you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to.

[ he was a stranger, after all. but he was okay with offering up this bit of his own information. ]

It's not uncommon where I'm from for people to have powers like yours. We call it bending. A lot of people are born with the ability to bend.

It's just... I've never really had that much control over my powers so... When I was younger... I was isolated from most people, including my little sister... So that I wouldn't hurt her or anyone else again by accident.

It's only recently that I've been able to control my powers better...

What? [ he's shocked -- appalled, even. ] You didn't have a teacher? Sure, I set a tapestry in the throne room on fire once, but I had bending instructors to teach me how to keep that under control, how to not lash out with my bending and set the nearest flammable object ablaze.

No... There's no one else like me back home... It's sorcery according to those back home. It was only around the same time that I got better control that people started to accept me.

If I stayed isolated from everyone, I couldn't hurt anyone... Or at least that's what I thought.

[ oh. zuko couldn't imagine being the only bender who could bend anything around, to have something that was a part of him be deemed sorcery. ]

...look, fire isn't ice, obviously, but I do have experience in teaching someone how to control and use their bending. Maybe I can help.

[She might have known how to control her powers a little better now, but it wasn't perfect. It might not have been a bad idea... But after isolating herself for so long, it seemed strange to talk to people again.]

I wouldn't want to trouble you, but the offer is very much appreciated.

It wouldn't be any trouble.

[ in truth, he's out of practice. he barely got any practice. helping someone would help him flex his teaching muscles more than he was able to with aang. ]

[And suddenly she's feeling a little timid, because what is actual human interaction that's positive for a chance?]

What are some of the dangers here; Since I assume there are some. How do the others here settle in or at least deal with being stuck here? Is there anything else that I should know about?
