I think I figured everything out. Sort of. I can just talk into this, right? And then everyone else sees or hears it? [ there's a pause where he's not sure what to do after that. is it even working? how would he know? ] It's so weird to talk to people without knowing if you're actually talking to people.

Uh... - I'm Aang! Hi. Weiss said that this was an entirely different world. Thanks for the introduction explain by the way if you can see this! She said different world so I was wondering where everyone else came from to begin with? I only know the one I came from-- Okay, technically two but the Spirit World is interconnected and I can be in both at the same time so I'm not sure if that counts.

Also, how do people go about finding out if anyone they know is here? Or has anyone seen a flying bison around? Do you guys have bear-bears or different kinds of bears? What's a video anyway? Is this a spirit world or a regular world?

Six months? [ at least it's not another 100 years. but that's still unsettling if he's had to go pretending he's friends with azula to keep the peace. where does that put everyone at home if they're here too? he doesn't like the possibilities it brings up but zuko's further explanation gets rid of those.

hearing that time doesn't line up is actually a relief. it must work almost like mediating. where it feels like a long time but it's really only a short period of time. aang is thinking it's a dream world now. it's far less unsettling than what zuko is thinking ]

There's, uh, actually something going on with the dragons in Fayren. But you should probably stay out of that region. Azula has political power there, and I wouldn't put it past her to use it against you.

Great! She does seem to know a lot. I'm glad you've made friends here, Zuko. [ good for him. zuko needs more friends ] So what do I need to know to keep up with your lie? Are there specific details or are we winging it?

[ he's gotten better at making friends! sort of. mostly, the people who are friends with weiss tend to friend him by proxy, but he has made a few friends of his own. being the son of the fire lord meaning nothing here helps. ]

For now. Until I figure out a way to approach this without setting her off. [ zuko you have no idea how badly she loses it. he doesn't want to remove her bending either and leave her defenseless in a world he doesn't know a lot about either. ] If there's no harm being done with keeping it, I think it might be good to have her supporting you. I shouldn't ruin something you've had working for you for months as an entrance into the place.

[ he trusts that zuko's doing the right thing here. he'd know how to work with her better than he would, after all. ]

I'd like for her to not try to kill me though. Do we have a good excuse for that?

She's a Guardian and has a reputation to protect, a reputation I had to help her fix after she set parts of a hotel on fire when she first got here. [ azula's version of freaking out over being here, is anyone surprised? ] Someone's been spreading a bunch of false propaganda about the Guardians, but going after you would give whoever's behind that something true to work with, and I highly doubt these people would be okay with her trying to kill a twelve-year-old kid.

The age you're supposed to be, anyway. Just don't go telling everyone you're technically over a hundred.

All sorts of things, from the farfetched to the easily believable. One grain of truth about one Guardian an the people will be more willing to buy into the lies about the others. It would be political suicide. Azula's not stupid enough to commit it.

Sure! Because if people actually believe me when I say I can help, then I get to help and Azula can't call me an idiot for it. And people won't think you guys are idiots for letting me help with stuff if say, I don't know, a bunch of dragons start kidnapping people for example...

Then you should probably get in good with one of the other guardians so they can back you. I'd recommend Yuna or Tepet Ejava.

Not all of the dragons are to blame. It's only the ones that can assume a human form that we need to worry about. Fayren's native dragon population is harmless unless provoked, but there are some who don't care to spot the difference and are trying to cash in on the dragon bounties no matter what kind of dragon they are.

[ zuko's actually been spending most of his waking hours hanging near the known dragon populations of fayren to ensure nobody tries to kill an innocent dragon. ]

That's what I've heard. If these ones have been taking human form then it's definitely possible to reach out to them and figure out what they want or where they came from. If we can figure out a way to get close enough without setting them off, I'm sure this entire situation can be solved. We stop them, the bounty isn't needed anymore, and the innocent dragons stop getting hurt.

I could probably get close, but you'd probably set them off. They shouldn't have much interest in me.

These dragons probably just go by some kind of smell or something. Like anger must smell funny to them so they steer clear of anyone that's had a lot of it at some point.
