This place is too confusing...

[Hello! This sure looks like one confused young woman here, too confused to even remember what an emotional mess she is right now. Really, what is this kind of technology and place even? Sure sure, she got the explanations and read that pamphlet thing, but still. Anyone from the same world as her would recognize her clothes and 3D gear thing too, because wow she's not good with this video thing and the phone flips here and there.

What is she supposed to say to this thing even? Let's start with top priorities! Which is people instead of jobs, but she can look for jobs a chef, security, nurse or whatever later.]

ummm... I'm looking for some people! Oluo Bozado, Eren Jaeger and [pause, longer pause.] captain Levi? I--If you've seen any of them here, please let me know, okay?

[and biting her lip when she almost asks for two others too. Nope, not going to ask for them too.

Sorry, it's not really a good day for long messages either, she's really not good at staying calm for those today. So she'll just leave it at that.

[Mikasa doesn't mind if she cried on her. Honestly... She's had a fair share of tears and maybe she hadn't been the one to do them, but she's felt the emotional toll nonetheless.]

I'd like that too. It would be nice, seeming as the apartment seems to be filled with boys now.

[For good reason. Petra is actually close to Levi. It's only natural. Mikasa would have trouble too if anyone started to mess with or talk bad about Eren too.]

You're just as much to thank as they are. It's the least I could do. I'm just glad to know that there are more people from our world here. If time really works the way people say it does, than it's probably a good thing being "kidnapped" here in retrospect.

[Petra gives Mikasa a sheepish smile. Not like she thinks she's a real bother but really, if it's too full, that's not good either. She should look for a place of her own sooner or later anyway.

She's still extremely protective of Eren too, so no one should dare to come to the way of these girls. Sure, she's more protective of Levi, always, but it works just fine since Eren also has Mikasa (and others) for that.]

Yeah... More people from home is great, let's hope more and more keep coming. How do people say time works? I mean if there's more to it than being from different points in time.

It's fine. I was planning on saving up for a bigger place anyways. You should save your bills for other things, although help with rent would be nice.

Well, I've been told that time stops back home, as well as pull people from different times. I don't know if that's true or not, but I'm hoping that it is.

How much bigger? [Curious forever.] And of course I'll help with rent and whatever you want me to do there; cleaning, cooking, whatever else - you name it.

Well, kind of experienced the people coming in from different times. But time stopping back home would be nice ...for the rest of you, in a way. Doesn't really matter in my case, but my case is really not the point here anyway.

[besides, she's not there to experience the pain, so that's good at least! Besides she might feel less selfish for wanting people to stay here if time really stops there. Even if it's not really selfish at all considering how horrible home is, but hey, they still have important stuff to do there.]

Well, I was thinking of getting a house. With as many of us here, we could probably raise the money for it and get one and be more comfortable.

That would be helpful though. I did most of the cooking, but Eren helped out sometimes. Cleaning, I've been splitting duties, but Eren wasn't always the most reliable at times for that.

[And they way that she said that suggests that she's all for keeping everyone together. But the way she said that made her frown a little.]

Well.. if it means more of us can live a more peaceful life, even if it means being kidnapped and stuck here.... I think it's something that could benefit us in the end.

I'd be glad to help. If we all do that in turns, then it sounds like we'd experience a lot of different foods and that could be interesting. ...Yeah, he -- isn't always the most reliable even if he tries his best.

... Eren and cleaning though? Sure reminds Petra of her first time talking with the boy and Levi telling him to clean again after checking how well - or badly - he managed to clean in that castle. So very sorry for just repeating your line there, Mikasa, it's a touchy subject today.]

Well, this seems to be a pretty great place to be kidnapped into, so I guess -- we really shouldn't feel bad for hoping more people to show up here.

[Well, Petra can certainly agree with the second chance thing. A lot. She'd agree even if she was from somewhere different point in the timeline but especially from where she is. Too bad it doesn't work if they just wish for it to happen.]

In most cases I guess being brought here isn't a good thing, but maybe it's not so bad for us. Not when our world is doomed to fall eventually, despite our actions... There's too many of them...

.. Sorry, Mikasa. Your company here is THE WORST AND TOTALLY THE WRONG ONE for talk about home world being doomed to fall. Petra's steps slow down for a bit, she's swallowing really hard to not lose it again.

[wow, she actually manages this all without tears anywhere else than in a little in her eyes, somehow. It gets insanely difficult after that little pause there and esp about Levi and in the end, but hey, someone's got to keep positive and supportive attitude here.]

[She was a bit surprised for the punch in the arm, but it didn't really hurt. She should have watched her words closer, but she hadn't really thought to censor that. She still has a hard time believing that they'll still be alive in the end, but now that she realizes her error and not censoring her words, she's not going to push it.]

[She wasn't one to lie unless there was a good reason. Even something simple like what she had just said was hard for her to get out without sounding too faked. It wasn't really much of a lie there, but it went against what she really thought. It just didn't come out sounding right to her, but she wasn't going to push the issue. Well, I've learned how to cook while being here so that the cost of food isn't has high. It's been nice to be able to learn, but I'm not sure if my cooking is anything impressive.

I can tell my honest opinion about it if you want to hear it later? [She's half-kidding, but let's just say her opinions would be positive anyway!] Honestly I'm not sure how good my skills for it are right now either compared to what people usually might have in a place like this, but we have all the time to improve here.

[Who made the food in the castle? Petra? Someone else? Taking turns? Who the hell even knows, though taking turns sounds cute... well, it was probably the Scouting Legion members, who get no screen time aside from a few scenes or death scene because as if the others would have that much time for it.]

I think I'll just buy a lot of books later and try new things and get new skills and it's going to be great. Even if we're not so good at cooking now, that's at least one area where one can always learn new stuff.

That's true. My cooking is fairly average, but it's good enough to not be terrible too. Although, it wouldn't hurt to get better at it. It's like you said, we have time for it now.

I've never thought about how mine's like on skill level, but -- well, we'll find out and we'll improve and I guess there's a lot of different options for it than back home too, so it will be a fun experience to learn a lot more about it.

It has been nice to be able to learn new things and try new stuff.
