This place is too confusing...

[Hello! This sure looks like one confused young woman here, too confused to even remember what an emotional mess she is right now. Really, what is this kind of technology and place even? Sure sure, she got the explanations and read that pamphlet thing, but still. Anyone from the same world as her would recognize her clothes and 3D gear thing too, because wow she's not good with this video thing and the phone flips here and there.

What is she supposed to say to this thing even? Let's start with top priorities! Which is people instead of jobs, but she can look for jobs a chef, security, nurse or whatever later.]

Yeah. [For reasons, that she's not sharing with everyone from home even.] Well, meeting new people is usually always fun anyway.

[Unless they're bad people, but she can't be avoiding those either since she needs to know who is good and who is not, so that she can fiercely protect the people important to her from bad people. Because she's still going to do that even after everything. Speaking of...]

Relaxing is always a fun thing to do, so long as you let yourself have fun.

Heh sure, I let myself have fun whenever it's possible, it's important. But speaking of relaxing, that looks like a very relaxing and interesting place.

You mean the cafe. It's a place for people to relax, so I guess you can say that. I mean drinking a hot beverage and having some cake is relaxing. Working here is also fun in it's own right because of the people who work here. Well, I try and make it fun at least.

[She smiles. It's not exactly the happiest smile ever, since she's from a world where people definitely don't have many fun and relaxing days in cafes...]

Good places for people to relax and meet. Yeah, I remember that being fun and relaxing way back when... Well, at least it feels like way back, since we don't really get to do that a lot back home. [Military Police and other rich do, but others most likely not so much if at all.] It's always great to work with fun and wonderful people around you. [OUCH, reminding herself of her situation (back home) with that and it hurts.]

You don't? I guess your world must be pretty bad to not be able to relax like that?

I do. I'm also planning on expanding it soon to another city since it's been going so well. It just goes to show that if you do things right you can do well here.

Let's just say bad is a very bad understatement to it, when we're fighting to keep humanity alive and even food can be difficult to get sometimes. So, most people don't really even think of baking any sweet stuff, or even if they think about it, I don't think many people do it.

[or they get frowned upon because the possibility of starving to death is a real problem there and they shouldn't use stuff for fun things. Even if fun things would be great there, but yeah no, it's kind of important to use the ingredients for bread and other stuff.]

Sounds like you're really doing very well it, congratulations! You wouldn't happen to be looking for bakers or something? Or how easily do people even hire here...? um, I mean I have some experience and I'm a fast learner even if that question might sound weird after what I just said about my home. [and she couldn't even start right away, or so, because wow hello canon point buuuuuuuuuuuut, she is genuinely curious, yes.]

So your world is that bad off that even if you could have fun it would be little to impossible anyway because of that need to survive... That sounds really tough.

[He can't help but deep down feel bad for her. Her world sounded quite horrible. Then again he can understand being from a shitty world, or at least the way he was treated was shitty one time.]

I am actually. It's quite lonely with me being the only baker. Even more so when it gets busy, it means I don't really get that much time off. [Or at all really.] As for how easy it is. Quite. It depends though on who your are working for. In my case you just ask and I just give you a job.
