[Action] At the hospital
WHO: Anyone~
WHAT: Koishi is in the hospital after getting hit by a tank. Blame Keifka.
WHERE: Genessia Hospital.
WHEN: Backdated to Feb 5th-6th.
WARNINGS: Mild description of Koishi's non-human anatomy, injuries, and treatment. Overwhelming cuteness. Potential feels.
With the degree of damage to her bones and a punctured lung, there was no way to help Koishi without surgery and working on her had not been very easy for the doctors involved. Her internal anatomy didn't even remotely resemble a human's, despite having a similar appearance.
Fortunately the operation went well, the little youkai more robust than many of the humans that were normally worked on. Her bones had broken into fragments large enough to reassemble, and her healing factor eliminated the need for metal plates, the bone glue more than sufficient. Coupled with the blood transfusion from her sister Koishi was expected to make a full and speedy recovery.

Koishi was allowed a room to herself as she recovered to increase the ease of observation for the doctors and to minimize her bothering of the other patients. Much of her upper back and her entire left arm were wrapped in a rigid cast reinforced with steel rods. A plastic receiver for an IV had been placed in a large vein above Koishi's left shoulder, the cast wrapped around it an ensuring it wouldn't move.
While the surgery had been easy, her recovery was more difficult due to her boundless energy and impatience. The little youkai had already broken the plaster of several casts, the doctors finally buckling her down to the bed to keep her in place, though they were sure to keep her supervised via several cameras.
The icing on the cake was how ineffective anesthetics were on her metabolism. Anything oral had little to no effect. Painkillers given through an IV seemed to work well enough in youkai sized doses, though anything short of completely knocking her out failed to calm her. To make matters worse, the painkillers seemed to make her forget she was injured altogether, Koishi hurting herself more than once in her efforts to alleviate her boredom, and further justifying the heavy straps keeping hr in bed.
Other than that she was a pretty good patient. She allowed the doctors and nurses to run tests and tend to her. Perhaps only because it was something new to break up her day, but it no doubt helped them immensely. She did fuss some at first until her hat was returned, the beloved article currently hanging on a coat rack in one corner of the room.
So now, a day after the surgery, she was stuck. Strapped to a bed, ignoring the cartoons a kind nurse had turned on for her, squirming impatiently, dying for something to happen. For someone to visit.

All nervous all the time
Luke scrambles back to the bed, standing on his tiptoes and trying to gently grab Koishi's hand.
"K..Koishi, you have you--the cast is supposed to keep you from moving your arm too much!"
When he's got a better grip, he gently helps her put the cast on the pillow it had previously rested upon. "You have to be careful or you won't get better. We can help you move about if you want, right Miss Satori?"
Luke's glance at Satori prompts Suna, who was previously resting comfortably in Satori's lap, to let out a quiet yip and sniff at the air. Luke's not paying total attention to Koishi's explanation about his ability to talk with animals; crouching to be next to Suna he scoops the little fennec fox into his arms. "Suna, why don't you sit with Koishi for a bit? Then she can stay nice and still and doesn't have to worry about hurting herself. Right?"
Suna lets out a yip and jumps gracefully to Koishi's bed, settling just beside the bedrail, not completely on the youkai's lap but close enough for easy scratching.
Same nervous time, same nervous channel!
By the time Suna sat by Koishi's side, Satori reached out once again and carefully petted the furry little creature. "...It isn't as if she hasn't been in a similar position, before...that's a story I'd rather not involve myself in. But...it's difficult enough keeping her still while she's in good health."

She did perk up when Suna hopped up within petting distance, Koishi reaching over and wiggling her fingers, tapping the fox on the nose trying to rile her up a bit. Before long Suna was quite wiggly, pawing and playbiting at the green youkai's fingers. At least it was an adequate distraction.
"Sis, that was different." She didn't look up from the Suna, sneaking little pets in between the playing. "I couldn't move at all when that happened. And this isn't nearly that bad. I'll get better from this easy. I don't heal as quick as you but it's still pretty quick."
