This is ridiculous! Whatever brought us here can't just assume that we'll start a new life in this place, when we have important things to do back home.
[Well, this girl sure sounds annoyed and frustrated. That's the best way to hide the fact, that she's about to freak out, right? Her eyes look worried though. No, really, she should be saving a friend from dying, and not -- sit here, talking to some strange device and be forced to plan how she's going to live here.
Katara's been here for an hour, maybe two, and apparently she hasn't moved much from the place where people wake up. It's more that she sure doesn't want to get far away from the water, but you should know her skills to realize that. Or maybe she's waiting to be magically transported back to her world, who knows.]

Well, even so...] I get the idea that they don't really care if we had anything important back home.
And... time works differently here. Whoever brought us here can pull us from different times back home. Almost everyone else here from my world was brought from my f-future - but they insist I was never missing back home.
So I k-know it's not a lot of comfort, and it's impossible to know for sure - but the t-time you spend here doesn't necessarily mean you're missing anything back h-home. You could be brought back to exactly the same point that you left.
I kind of wonder if we can find them somewhere to make them start caring about our ppinions on it.
[Then again, she's pretty sure people have tried that by now. And something in the way he's talking and about the things he says makes her feel like she could at least try to be nice here. It's not his fault, that they're here.]
That ... sounds impossible, but then again being teleported into a whole different world should be impossible too. But timebending, really? Shouldn't that be impossible? [Sorry, she is really confused.] I'm glad you have friends from home here though.
[He is right, it's not a lot of comfort and well, being impossible to know for sure just makes it worse.]
Well, I better not miss anything back there! [...Sorry, still not your fault, that she's here and she really appreciates the efforts and company, but...] That still sounds crazy, but what about everyone else who is in the same situation? Time just stops there and continues if I ever go back?
[She looks really, really worried. Why is she here, she should be saving a life back home. This is even more confusing than Aang's Spirit World journeys, time doesn't stop back in the material world during those either, so sorry if she's too confused about all of this.]

[If he did he would be going home himself. Anyway, the blue capped boy tips his hat towards her with a little smile, though cleary uncertain] < / small >
My name is Luke.
Can I maybe help you? It's awfully cold out there right now.
... Yeah, that's what the lady on the screen said, but I was kind of hoping there'd be one by now.
[ awwww, well she's going to nice to a kid, so no need to be uncertain.]
I'm Katara.
It's not so cold as my home village, at least. But if you happen to know where I could find something warm to wear, that would be nice.
[Video] Luke needs to meet Aang. also sorry about my formatting fail
[Video] haha, that would be cute and no worries c:
[Video] Phone tags are dangerous for that reason
[Video] i never even dare to try tagging from my phone, ahaha

[ in complete contrast to katara, aang just looks like he won the lottery. he threw his hands up and dropped the device even out of excitement. there's a pause - then it gets picked back up. there's a pause and he almost starts explaining things but he realized he knows where she is. everyone arrives there. ]
I'll be right over!
video;
AANG?!
[Wait, what are you doing here?!
You should be fighting the Fire Lord, whatever he calls himself right now!
How? ...The explanation about time differences on the first reply starts making a little sense now, maybe. Katara has too many questions, but if he's coming here, then she sure isn't asking them on this device.]
I... I'll be here.
[Waiting more or less patiently, watching everywhere to see where he'll be coming, yup.]

but he comes on the line anyway, locking it down tight so azula doesn't see. he could've answered publicly with an affronted waterbender, but having katara actually think he was still the enemy was counterproductive. ]
Looks like Aang's probably already heading your way.
[ lineface. he's fully expecting to be yelled at in three, two, one— ]
video | locked to katara + zuko; 1/3-ish?? idk, we'll see
But seeing Zuko is another thing. She's been here for a while, freaking out about how she can't be here because she needs to help him back home and -- well, there he is! Looking like -- she's not sure how he looks, except he sure don't look like he just got almost killed.
Okay, give her a moment to just stare while her mind thinks back to the moment of seeing him saving her from that lightning.

[Sorry, were you expecting to get yelled at? Somehow differently?? She looks and sounds really relieved, actually, so have fun with that confusion. But oh no, wait --]
How?? What kind of healer did you --?
[You better have seen a healer, mister! Well, it's not like he'd survive from it without someone with healing powers around, would he?]

Welcome to being one of her best friends, Zuko. Enjoy the confusion of Katara being on top of the world to see you right now.]

You must be really mad, but I can understand it. I mean after all if you have something to do back home that is very important, one will get angry and annoyed at this situation.

[yes hello situations where she can't say the truth about it being two friends, who helped her to calm down. And wow, why is Zuko from time, when she still hates him? This is still confusing, and kind of frustrating since she remembers them being friends now. Well, it's a lot better than many other situations could be, so she's going to just roll with it somehow.]

I thought the same when I arrived. In a way, it is unsettling how fast one can settle in here after all, no matter if there is a place one needs to be.
There is no way out though, so adapting at least temporarily is likely the only choice we have.
video;
[She's so glad she's acted like a mother for the group, and for her brother, for so long by now. That and all the traveling experience going to help a lot with settling in here. Also apparently you hit some buttons, where she has a lot to say about this?]
Calming down after arrival might be another thing though, though I seem to have friends from home to help me with that. But I'm pretty sure that's not the case for everyone.

And well, a lot of places aren't like my home at all, if by home we mean the place where I was born and not the whole world where I'm from. This is more like... Fire Nation or Earth Kingdom.

[ She might notice the room Weiss is talking from is the same one that Zuko was talking to her from, but Weiss hasn't figured out who this is yet. Not that she really knows who Katara is besides a couple of vague mentions, but if she did she would've been more careful about talking to her. ]
video;
Well, okay then. It's not like Katara has anything against people, who seem nice and welcoming and give a lot of useful and good information right from the start.
...Why would Zuko be in the same room with a girl anyway?]
I kind of noticed, that they don't care about it. But I think a mention of the timebending - or whatever you call the ability to manipulate time like this place seems be capable of - could have been very useful on that welcoming video. People probably wouldn't believe it at first, I guess, but at least they'd have one less thing to worry about.
[...She's so good at first impressions today, but yes hello future boss. At least Katara sounds friendly and calmer by now.]

...Though her words kind of sound like she's from a bad situation like being in prison? Are there more than that for bad situation for Ty Lee back home even? Katara doesn't know, she really doesn't know her that well even if she would like to now if they're going to be on the same side.
You guys have important things to continue. That ... really sounds like Katara should know what she's talking about. She locks this, that way it's going to look as if she never replied to her, right? ]
I think this is just between you and me now.
[... oh spirits, what if she's wrong? Well, then she'll just say she's the master worrier even if worrying about enemies would be ... well, she's done it before too, hasn't she? Sort of.]
So if you want to, you know, tell me more about that bad situation of yours, I'm listening.
