Out of curiosity, how many of you are from a planet called Earth? I know our Earths aren't all identical, but there seems to be quite a few of us from an Earth here.
[ and maybe that means something? she doesn't know, but in her book, it's definitely something worth noting -- especially with how interesting invaders from the far reaches of the galaxy tend to find the blue-green planet in her version of the world. ]
I'm also working on establishing an animal shelter in Attleton once things there settle down. If anyone has experience with taking care of animals or has a lot of love to give, I'll be looking for both full and part time employees in the near future. Let me know if that's something you'd be interested in.

[Though it could have been called Earth, 100 years ago. So much had been lost or suppressed when humanity moved behind the walls.]
I'm not s-sure if I'll have time for a job there, but I'll probably try to come in from time to time as a volunteer, if that's all right.

[There's an almost pensive pause before Armin locks the audio feed.]
Genessia wasn't the first reality I came to once I was taken from my home. I traveled from world to world with a group of people for a time. I don't know if it means anything, but... most of them were from some version of Earth too.

How long has it been since you were back home? Your proper home?

And you plan on making an animal shelter? I'll definitely stop by, if I have the time!
video;
I am! I'll let you know when it's open. I was hoping that would be soon, but since Attleton is currently experiencing some sort of monster problem, plans have been put on hold.

[ the 90s are seriously lacking in the cat video phenomena of the decades that follow it. ]

Of course I have! That doesn't explain why you're so interested in recording them.

I'm not sure what my homeland is called after the Soviet Union splits. Russia's still an expanding empire in my time.
I know how to take care of horses, sheep and goats.

[ the technological advancements that sounded more like things she had access to as a ranger and not because humans had invented them and placed them on viable markets were evidence enough of that. ]
Just Russia. There was a war and after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Russia went back to being just Russia.
[ she smiles a bit at the screen, hoping that helped. good thing they'd gone over the cold war recently in history class. ]
Someone with your talents is undoubtedly rare. I would be happy to employ you. People often forget that pets and animals in need of shelter and care aren't just the small cuddly types that they keep in their houses.

[ At first there's a look of shock, then he realizes that he didn't specify that Russia is the enemy.]
Oh, I wasn't clear. I'm Kirghiz, not Russian. From one of the places they're invading. In Asia. Which doesn't really narrow things down.
I have a job at Pan's Grocery, so I can only do part time. Most animals without owners are wild, and better off roaming freely. At least during my time.
[ He can understand that things could be different in the future.]
My name's Joruk, by the way.
video
[ she isn't sure whether the genessian library would have that kind of historical information available or not, given the mass variety of worlds present. ]
I agree; but the problem lies in those animals that were domesticated or born into domestication and don't have, or have lost, those skills necessary for surviving in the wild. They shouldn't be left to suffer as a consequence of human negligence. It's unfortunately an issue in my time.
[ a momentary frown, but she perks back up for the introduction. ]
Pleased to meet you, Joruk. I'm Katherine.

But an animal shelter sounds like a really neat idea? Can I help?

So until things are sorted with the city what will happen to stray animals?

[ Which is also something she has thought about a bit, but she's even more interested in the second part here. ]
Also, I live in Attleton and I have experience with training horses, but I also like other animals. I would have to work part time, as I am already employed at the hospital, but I am interested in this project.

Where on Earth, if it's alright to ask?

[The voice on the feed belongs to a young boy with a strong British accent.]
It's really strange, that people can be from different versions of Earth. Whose even thought that there could be more than one version of Earth?
[Voice]
[ like all these earths that are devoid of the power rangers. then again, they probably don't have rita-zedd-mondo problems that need the rangers, either. ]
Theoretical physicists?
[Voice]
That's true.
Don't theoretical physicists also think that a chair only is where the chair is because you're looking at it there? Maybe that's the quantum physicists...
The Professor keeps odd company, sometimes. I don't really like those physics professors so much.
