[ Something feels off about this time. The lack of the psychic connection, the absence of her fellow Travelers, and most importantly, the welcome package. It's all puzzling, but she's willing to put aside her confusion to switch on the video feed.

When the feed starts, it reveals a solemn looking young lady, holding herself as regally as possible. When she speaks, it is with deliberate politeness.]


Hello. This is the Lady Sansa Stark of Winterfell speaking. I seem to be your newest arrival. I must deliver my kindest thanks for the welcoming gifts, as well as the communication device. The materials inside proved to be most helpful.

I, however, am not quite sure what I am expected to do from here. I would be more than happy to assist in anyway I can, as it seems newcomers are expected to do. I would also like to get to know all of you.

Thank you for your time. [ She bows her head, then curtsies politely, and the feed finishes.]

That's common here. I'm sure your world had weird time differences as well, but I can't say for sure since I've never been there..

Yes. A good number of people from our world are here too. I believe Armin said that Eren and Levi were there too, but Eren is... [Excuse that sudden sad expression. She doesn't even realize she's making it while trying to think of what to say.] Well.. He's... not here anymore. Levi is here, however.

Not my home world, but the ones Armin and I shared... Yes. It's not exactly shocking.

I see. It will be a pleasure to meet them as well. [ The bit about Eren catches her off guard- She's never liked Eren, but she still cared for him as a fellow Traveler, and as someone important to Armin. Despite her own feelings regarding him, she's still sad to hear it. ] I'm sorry about Eren.

[She's not the first to dislike Eren. Her own boyfriend can't stand him. That's a barrel of fun. At least now she wouldn't have to deal with their constant bickering now that she is dating Jean.]

I suppose not, no. [ This is getting awkward. She's not sure what else to say, now that the initial rush of newness has begun to fade, and it's finally sinking in that she's actually meeting Armin's other best friend, for the first time. The girl she had envied, prayed for, and secretly, selfishly, hoped she'd never have to meet, lest the other girl take Armin from her.

Thinking about it makes her bow her head a little, not making eye contact with the image of Mikasa on the screen. ]

[And.. She can tell the awkwardness is settling in so... focusing on something else... Thought she couldn't begin to understand what she was thinking about, but it was clear that a change of topic was in order.]

Well, I'm sure you have questions. I could try to answer some of them until Armin arrives.

I'm physically unharmed, thank you. [ She snaps back quickly, catching herself drifting away. She forces a small smile, a polite nod to match it. It's all very forced, though to a stranger, it may just seem sincere. She'll allow herself to ask what she's been thinking though, what she's worried about.]

....How has he been?

That's not... Never mind [She has no reason to push it, so she'll just leave it for now.] He's been... doing better. I mean.. He was shaken up when he just got here, but he's been doing a lot better since.

Ah. That's...understandable, given what he's been through. [ She nods, pausing, looking slightly ashamed. ] I wasn't to leave his side. It seems I failed at that, even outside of my control. Thank you, again, for picking up where I could not.

I guess we can thank each other for that, because I shouldn't have been missing when he's had things happen to him where you guys came from. Together, I think we can keep him safe one way or another.

I.. actually haven't heard too much; mostly because I haven't really asked too much about it. I... figured it would be better not to ask when he was already shaken up.
