Hello Genessia! I'm Aang. I work at the shrine. The official job description for here is spirit guide but I don't think leading people around the spirit world is a good idea so I'm interpreting it as spiritual guidance.

Since we've got a lot of new people and the paper only comes out once a week so that column might not answer everything, I thought I'd offer my services as good advice giver. Spirit guide giving spiritual guidance! Some good 'ole Avatar wisdom. Completely free. And you get optional onion-banana juice because... that helps for some reason. I'm not really sure why.

Anyway! I actually have a question to ask everyone.

What food around here does and doesn't have meat? And what's your favorite?

Can you eat foods that have products from animals, but not anything that harms the animal itself, like yogurt?

[Fortunately, vegan diet is a huge part of Muse's own diet to stay in shape. She responds with her usual enthusiastic expression]

I personally love tofu and rice dishes, also various types of salad! I can't pick a specific one as my favorite though. They're all pretty good especially with miso.

And if you want food without meat it's as easy as planting your own garden and growing vegetables. [Not that he can manage a thing like that in his place. The soil around the Garbage Bin is awful!]

Koishi tended to show up in strange places at strange times and it wasn't exactly uncommon for her to pop up near someone who was sending or had just finished sending a video message. She seemed to have a talent for it. She stepped over to Aang as he just finished, leaning in, staring up at him. She was fairly focused right now so she should be visible right now. Mostly. Probably. Hopefully.

"Hey! Heeeeyyy!" She reached up and poked his cheek, her third eye bobbing up to nudge his shoulder several times. "Hey mister! Can you see me? You have an arrow on your head. Is it bothering you? It's an interesting shade of blue. I met someone with it before along with all of the orange."

There's lots of fruit and vegetables, I actually have a vegetarian menu all laid out in my apartment, I can look at some recipes or send them over if you wanted.

[She's not entirely sure why she has one since she's not a vegetarian, but figures it's not that important.]

Just a question--are you just vegetarian or strictly vegan? 'Cause stuff like cakes and pastries can be made with eggs and milk.

That'd be great! There's a lot of ones I haven't heard of before and ones that are pretty different so I haven't been sure which ones would make sense to eat with other ones.

Heads up if you haven't tried the juice before. It's a little strange at first but it's really good after the initial weirdness of it.

...Can't say I've ever heard of onion-banana juice. Is it some kind of euphimism for something else? Like 'bug juice'?

A shrine is a sacred place that's considered holy by connecting to the spirits. Or, gods, someone else called them. It's a really calming spot.

Onions and bananas aren't really that good if you mix them together though. Better than onions and chocolate, and I'm reaaally not sure why I tried that years ago, but -- well, okay, anything mixed with onions didn't really work. Then again, I really only tried sweet stuff like those two I mentioned. Maybe I should have tried something else.

Thanks, Ty Lee. A lot of people are a little too hung up on my age to actually let me help with anything but I think I can convince them eventually. Do you have any ideas about what you want to try?
