Nova City Carnival

Where: Nova City at the grounds being used for the Carnival.
What: Nova City Carnival

The NCC (Nova City Carnival) opens up its gates for business on the 27thof March. The line to get inside was decently long during the first few hours, but as the day went on it shortened as things got into full swing and booth attendants got into the flow. By noon the place was pretty packed, with there being so much to do, many people planned on spending the entire day there.

Come nightfall, it didn't thin out at all. If anything, attendance grew as more citizens of Nova City made there way there. The atmosphere is as positive as you can expect from being around people that are enjoying themselves. And it would continue on like this until the final day.

It didn't look like it.

[ and the guy comes by and checks their restraints, then in a couple of seconds the train starts moving. ]

[Loki's looking kind of excited like he was with the fireworks. He's excited to see where this might be going...]

[ It's going up and up and up.. and Yui's holding tightly onto the hand-rail. It looks like she's a little nervous, but not scared. She gives a smile to Loki. ]

Ready?

[ They're almost to the top! ]

[Loki looks at Yui. Was there something to be nervous about? He was just feeling excited that maybe this would actually be fun. Was it dangerous after all? They did need these security things...]

Yeah...?

[graduations]

[ Just as the first car of the coaster train starts dropping, Yui takes a large breath. Then their whole train is tumbling down a huge drop and Yui lets out a big ol' scream. She's not the only one on the coaster who is either, some people even putting their hands up. Yui's holding with her arms locked in position, but starts laughing as they get to the bottom of the drop. It's nowhere near as intense as riding on a Pegasus without a seatbelt or anything but Apollon really keeping her on, but screaming and the feeling of dropping is half of what makes it fun. ]

[Loki's definitely one of the guys who's throwing his hands up, after the initial shock. Not that he's quiet either because it takes him by surprise. But he's happily laughing at the end of it.]

Woah! That was fun!

[It's like he's the kid playing with the fireworks at the summer camp again...]

[graduations]

[ Yui's laughing along with him, happy to see him so pleased. It's always something she cherishes when she can see Loki looking so happily about something. ]

Isn't it? There are lots of different rides, but I thought you'd really like this one!

[divineliar]

You were right about that! [... wait is he getting a bit too excited about this human stuff? He coughs.] I mean, if you have other ideas, I'm willing to try.

[graduations]

Well, there's one I'm sure you'll like, but I'm not sure if I really want to go on it.. I'm a little nervous.

[ She doesn't want to get queasy around Loki even if she's sure he'll enjoy it. ]

[divineliar]

It's alright if you don't go alone, right? If it's fun, you should also try it!

[graduations]

Maybe.. I'm not worried about being scared though.

[ Well, best not to bring it up. Maybe it won't even happen. She starts heading over toward the zero gravity ride... ]

[divineliar]

[Loki's just a question mark at that. What could possibly go wrong with zero gravity....]

[graduations]

[ It mostly just looks like a strange circle when they approach, but there isn't much of a line so they get in fairly quickly. Yui wanders into the ride and finds two of them side by side so they can stick together. ]

Here, Loki-san!

[divineliar]

[It doesn't look like much.... and he has no idea what might happen. Part of the excitement, perhaps? Loki follows Yui to the seats.]

Every ride looks different, huh?

[graduations]

Mhm! They've all good different kinds of things too. I like the ferris wheel, but I think you might find that one kind of boring. It's very slow and you've probably flown and been up that high already since you're a god...

[ So she knows that it's probably not something he'd want to do. This is much more his speed, even if Yui's moving to brace herself where she is. ]

Hold on tight until the partitions go down, Loki-san.

[divineliar]

Yeah, I can fly higher than any of the things that they have here.... ... when I have my powers.

[Stupid Zeus.]

Are you nervous?

[graduations]

[ It's too bad, but she'll live without a ride on the ferris wheel.. oh well. Never tell Mikorin you missed that, Loki. ]

A little bit. This one's pretty fast if I remember right..

[ The door closes and the bars go down, then suddenly it feels like they start rotating faster and faster.. Yui eventually lifts her feet off of the floor and scoots up the mat a little nervously, letting out a shout when the blue mat behind her moves up with her on it. ]

[W-Well if she looks like she's not up to any more excitement, he might accompany her to the ferris wheel!! :T ]

Woah!

[It takes him by surprise that it's so fast and he quickly lifts his feet up as well. It's kind of exciting, yet also no something he expected at all.]

[graduations]

[ And satisfy Mikoshiba? smh.

Yui lets out a scream as it goes faster and faster, sticking her arms and legs out, then laughing and looking over at Loki to see if he's having fun. ]

[It was very surprising at first, but he is laughing because of how fun it actually is. The ride certainly is great and it shows on his face.]
