The first sign that something was going on that day hadn't been at the crack. It hadn't even been in Genessia, as a matter of fact. The first sign had been a sound not unlike a window shuddering in a heavy storm. It perforated the atmosphere within Everglade first.

Only a few moments later, Fayren would hear the same shudder echo through its forests, forcing birds to flee the cover of the trees. In the populated areas of the kingdom itself, it would be much quieter, as if it were miles away.

Then it would return to Genessia. The crack in the sky was rapidly saturated, thousands more than before forcing their whole shapeless bodies against the barrier. Some of the strange aurora-tinted color seems to press into their ranks, a few of the strange creatures being forced back, but quickly being replaced by another of its kind.

And a sickening crack could be heard in all archways near and far, but it was loudest in Everglade, where a new crack had formed. Two humongous cracks appeared in Everglade's barrier like a sinister grin as if it were laughing at the town just above the clocktower. The two cracks took only a couple of seconds more before the strange monstrous creatures burst small holes into that crack, not big enough to fit their bodies through at once.

The leaked through, dripping like poison from an apple out of that sneering mouth in the sky until the first of these creatures fell to the ground. The eager, hungry soul from before, whose abyss of a stomach had been shared with the whole of Genessia when he'd opened his misshapen jaw the first time a few days ago now looked from side to side in the streets of Everglade.

The first face he saw was that of an NPC, and he only saw it for a moment before launching himself at the man and pinning him to the ground. Some would recognize him as the grizzled owner of The Rabbit's Foot. A loud scream was put out from the man as the creature opened its jaw wide, but did not eat him. Nothing seemed to happen when his jaw was opened, as a matter of fact.

The creature closed its mouth slowly before standing upright on what seemed to be a two-legged form, though if it had arms they didn't take shape. It made a gesture as if it were cracking its neck as the man escaped quickly, locking the door to his shop behind him.

More of the creatures were piling into Everglade slowly but surely, but this one in particular caught sight of a local werewolf, someone with a pendant, a soul, and repeated his mauling, but this time- this time something happened. This time a strange, glowing mist seemed to pull out of the Everglade resident's body, a faint glimmer of aurora with it, and in a short time this person stopped screaming. They were still alive, but it didn't seem like there was anything... inside, really.

A hissing, victorious laughter left the creature and he moved on, heading toward Genessia's gate along with his oversized mouth pulled up into an eerie grin that reflected the crack in the sky. Those that had made it in through Everglade's crack followed suit.

They had to let the rest of their friends in through Genessia; it was only the polite thing to do.

Video

[The blue haired girl's face flicks on the screen with an unsure stare. After a moment she smiles knowing that she got the communicator working correctly.]

Hey everyone. I guess you hear this a lot but I just woke up here. The information was nice but I wanted to know if anyone here has heard of Fairy Tail? I'm looking for them!

Thanks!

[Now she waits, except she can't just sit in one place when there is a new world to inspect.]

Action

[Levy can be found wondering around with a smile. She's been to another world once before and she knew that somehow she'd find a way home. For now she wants to figure out about this place and why she's here. Maybe someone needs help?

She doesn't look lost but she looks like a tourist as she walks through the streets. Her eyes light up when she sees a book store and she beelines towards the exciting collection.]

[It's been some time since Ruby has made an appearance like this, but unlike the garage she was in last time, she seems to be located in a empty room with a few boxes stacked up in the background. She seems to be in a good mood.]

Hey everyone! A few months ago I offered my services to make weapons for those who were interested, but I didn't have a store front.

Well..... [Panning the feed around the bare  shop for all to see before returning it to her.] Now I do! As you can see, there's not much set up just yet, but I'm working on that. It won't take me too long to get this are set up at the very least, but I'm happy to announce that you can now find my business at Petal to the Metal located in Genessia at 18th and Hawthorne.

Besides the time needed to really get everything set up and get adjusted, I'll be taking any orders as usual. Just let me know what kind of weapon you'd like and if there are any specific details you'd like, and I'll draw up a sketch and tell you how much it'll be after that's okayed. Anyone who has gotten weapons before, I can also show you how to use them if need be or if you have any questions or need anything adjusted, feel free to drop by.

Feel free to come and stop by, regardless of progress. Thanks everyone!

[OOC: For those characters who requested weapons from her beforehand, this is really late compared to what I wanted to do, but you can assume that they've already received their weapons and everything was paid for.]

Well, this is rather strange.

[The person looking into the device looks...almost normal except for her blood red eyes. There's something not right about them. Maybe it's the slightly crazy look they have.]

Yes, it's even stranger than fighting Nazi Vampires and werewolves. I wonder if Master's here. It would make sense as to why he's been gone for thirty years...

[She seems oblivious that she's talking to herself as she glances around where she's at. It's rather dark around her, but then again the sun has set. She smiles a bit, showing a pair of fangs.]

Master? Are you here? Maaaaster?

[She calls out to someone, who knows if he's here or not. Then something hits her....]

I hope Master Integra's ok. Iscariot hasn't tried anything....but I don't trust them.

[Irvine switches on the video feed and he can be seen sitting in the park on a bench.]

So how is everyone doing in this place? It’s been a while since I have showed my face on here, so I thought I would change that. [Though he’s been keeping busy finding a steady job to make money and finding a place to live. All have been a success, too. But he’s been getting a bit bored just staying cooped up in his apartment, which was why he decided to go to the park.]

I managed to get myself a decent apartment and job over in Nova City. I teach at the Firing Range at the Nova Trade Academy. If any of you want to learn from the best marksman in this place, you can find me there. If any of you pretty girls play your cards right, you might be able to get private lessons.

[The feed opens up to a very messy looking Ruby in her garage. Around her there's all sorts of parts and tools and an incomplete weapon on a worktable right behind her. It looks like it's some sort of scythe by shape, but it's hard to say at this point of her making it.]

Hey everyone! If you don't know who I am, my name is Ruby and I actually have a question for all of you.

Or rather... right now this is a statement but... I've been making weapons on the side, but I've been thinking about opening up some sort of business to make weapons for those who are interested. I really don't have a store or anything for it or even a name picked out for my business proposal just yet, but if there's anyone out there who would like a weapon from me, let me know and I'll give you an estimate about how much bills it will cost.

If anyone is curious as to the kind of weapons I can make, I can show you something I've been working on for someone else, although it's not done yet.

[That weapon in the background? Yeah. That's what she's showing to you all now before turning the feed back onto her.]

This one is still in the process, but if anyone is curious to what it could end up like, I can show you the weapon I use myself. It's customary to make your own weapon back home in the school I went to.

[And now she's heading outside so that Weiss or somebody else doesn't yell at her for using Crescent Rose inside, even if it's the garage. Setting the phone down to prop up on it's own, she moved to show as Crescent Rose comes out of it's compact state to form a giant scythe. She's grinning because her Crescent Rose is beautiful.]

This is Crescent Rose, a high-caliber sniper scythe. I would show you some of it's abilities, but... I'm not sure if my housemates would appreciate it.

[She changed it to be able to at least show the gun part since slamming the scythe tip into the ground and shooting that way would be a bad idea. At least she can shoot freely without it in the ground in this form, so she shoots it in the air once before putting it back into a compact form and back where she had it. Going over to the camera now to walk back into the garage.]

Of course, there are many other various weapons I could make, but this is just sort of showing what it can do. Just let me know if  you're interested!

Bye!

[OOC: For those unfamiliar with RWBY, you can see more about Crescent Rose here.]

I hope this is actually working.

[It was quiet for a moment.]

I wanted to ask for volunteers to try something. It's just some food I've been working on.

[She is trying to improve but she has no way of knowing if she is improving or not without asking.]

I know it isn't much really to ask this, but well... I would like some input, that's all.

[The video feed starts up and shows a young man in a cowboy hat. He doesn’t look all that happy at the moment, and that’s not just because he’s stuck here.]

I’ve barely been in this place a couple of days, and already I had to make repairs to my apartment. Is throwing a paper through the window what I should typically expect from the newspaper? Because if so, I’d like to just go ahead and unsubscribe now. I’ll just buy it myself when I go out in the morning.

[He sighs a little and looks to the window that he patched up himself. He had to go and buy materials to do so, and he was hoping not to have to spend his money on needless things until he got a job. He turned his attention back to the device. Now, introductions were probably in order.]

So as you can probably tell, I’m new to this place. The name’s Irvine Kinneas. Nice to meet you all. I haven't made much use of this device since I've still been getting settled in and all and trying to learn the place. Kind of an interesting setup that they have going here.

[Sadly, Edea isn't new to ending up in other worlds, but she'd thought to have been done with it by now. Admittedly, waking up in some weird metal cocoon was a new one, and the cavern of water added to the inconvenience. The technology is a little more foreign than she's used to, but Edea adapts easily enough, making her way out of the Bay and into the city. There's a lot of questions running through her mind as she does, and while she plans on demanding on them later, her primary thoughts are towards her friends.

Still, Edea trusts that they're safe. They're strong- they've been through a lot together- and Edea can be assured that they'll be fine without her for a little while. It doesn't make her happy, of course, but worrying won't get her anywhere.

After flipping through the pamphlet and picking up a map, Edea browses the advertisements, finding nothing she likes. Finally, she decides she may as well take it to the network! Surely she'll find the job of her dreams there.]

The usual questions aside, my name's Edea Lee, and I'm looking for a job. What are some bakeries or pastry shops around here that are hiring, and what are their starting wages?

[The feed ends there, but a few seconds later, it turns on again, Edea appearing with a slight grin on her face.]

Aha, also... do you possibly do employee discounts, maybe?
