I think I understand the general idea of the situation, but that doesn't mean I don't have more questions...

For introductions, my name is Momiji Inubashiri. I'm a white wolf tengu serving Lord Tenma, repelling intruders from... no, I guess that's not important right now. Until I can get back, I might as well be unemployed.

For the moment, my biggest worries are work and a place to sleep. If anyone knows of somebody who's looking for workers, I can offer strength, dedication, and a keen eye.

Hi, I'm Yuuki and it's nice to meet you. As for work... I can't say I know any jobs that need strength, dedication and a keen eye... Unless you want a job in protecting people or a bounty hunter.

Is there much call for that sort of working? Bounty hunting seems a bit mercenary, but I'm quite used to guard duty...

I don't think so, but with elections coming up you could always consider being a City Guardian. That is sort of like guard duty but with a whole city.

"Momiji! You've appeared too?! Hold on, I'll be right there!" Aya's quick to appear face in the video is quick to disappear too as the screen turns off just as fast. It's only a few minutes later that a large gust of wind signals the crow tengu's approach, the girl landing lightly on her geta as she approaches her fellow tengu.

"So you really did appear! Jeez...talk about odd times, huh?" the crow chattered quickly, easily falling into usual habits. "Need a place to stay, huh? Why not bunk down with me over at my place. I started up the Bunbunmaru here by the by so if you want, you could help me with information gathering or somesuch."

"You don't have to--" and off she goes. Of course, how could this not happen?

Shortly after her arrival and wall of chatter, Momiji protested hastily before Aya could get too carried away. "Slow down! I've already agreed to stay at the Amagi Inn for the moment, so there's no need for anything like that."

"Hmm...is that so...? Already going to the Amagi Inn...Well if that's what you wanna do." Aya says with a shrug. "To be fair, I've not been here all that long myself, still long enough to get the Bunbunmaru up again, but there's still lots to see."

[Try as he might to keep a focus on Momiji's eyes, Athrun's own eyes can't help but periodically dart up to those ears. He's never seen someone with animal features before.]

If you're looking for work, there's an employment building that has all sorts of job offers. It's on the corner of, ah. Thistle and 22nd. I've been spending most of my time there myself, actually.

Well, er, from what I can tell so far, it's about as frequent as it is in other worlds. Also, I've only been looking for about a week -- I got here not long ago myself.

Sakuya was just picking up her phone when it beeped, another public message going out. She sighed, picking it up and answering. She paused, blinking in surprise at the face she saw appear on the tiny screen.

"You're one of the mountain tengu, correct?" She didn't bother introducing herself. There werne't many in Gensokyo that didn't know the devil's maid. "I'm surprised to see a second, though do not take it as displeasure. Any familiar face is a welcomed change in this place."

Unfortunately, Momiji doesn't spend much time off the mountain. She's heard that there was a devil with a maid, but lacked a name to attach to the face.

"I'm not terribly surprised to find out that I wasn't the first one here." Aya wouldn't let her be first to someting this interesting, even if it is some kind of deathtrap. "I believe you have the advantage of me, miss...?"

"Ah. I have dealt with the tengu and kappa before but I suppose I may not have encountered you. I am Sakuya Izayoi. Maid of Remilia Scarlet." She gave a small bow. "There are several of Gensokyo's residents wandering around. My Lady and the mind readers of the undergrond. I also believe a shape-shifting tanuki has shown her face."

She glanced up from the phone and stepped back, something dark and growling faintly moving in and out of the edge of the camera, the maid's eyes tracking it as it passed. "Forgive the interruption. It is important for you to know that the danmaku rules are not enforced here. So be careful. There are many people of great power here."

Hm- I have noticed plenty of jobs that require serving another. As for a place to stay... I cannot say. [she doesn't actually know, but she won't admit that she has literally no clue about housing. if asked however she'll pretend she knows it all!! her pride would never allow her to back down.]

I am curious however about this... Lord Tenma you mentioned. Repelling intruders from, what exactly?

From Youkai Mountain. Most of it is off-limits to outsiders, so it needs guards.

As for housing, there are numerous options in Genessia and the multiple sub-cities.

You should be able to find something suitable to your needs somewhere.

There are numerous "Guardian" positions though people are typically elected into them. A few other people have created their own security groups. I believe there are two of them at the moment.

It's not that I can't sleep under the stars if I need to... but in a place like this, surrounded by cities, living in the wilderness would feel a little sad.

As for work, the Schnee Company Welcoming and Travel Services can help ta set you up for it. Me personally, before getting a job, was stayin in the alleys meself. Got a good one down in the main city, Genessia that doesn't get any o' that nasty shit in it.
