I think I understand the general idea of the situation, but that doesn't mean I don't have more questions...

For introductions, my name is Momiji Inubashiri. I'm a white wolf tengu serving Lord Tenma, repelling intruders from... no, I guess that's not important right now. Until I can get back, I might as well be unemployed.

For the moment, my biggest worries are work and a place to sleep. If anyone knows of somebody who's looking for workers, I can offer strength, dedication, and a keen eye.

"Still, I'm a little surprised to see you here. Is there anyone else from the mountain?"

"From the mountain, no. I think so far it's just you and I. Or at least, those that I've seen. Sakuya is around, as is the Komeiji sisters. There's also a tanuki and even a poison doll youkai around. Oh right, Sakuya's Mistress is here too."

Quite a few folks, but considering how large where they came from, not so many at all either. Still, at least they aren't completely alone, even if there's no one else around.

"No other tengu or kappa, then..." Momiji crossed her arms. That'd make Aya her only compatriot in the city. Lovely.

"Have you been able to get in touch with Lord Tenma at all? Do we know anything about what happened?"

[aya_shameimaru]

"I've not been able to get in contact with anyone outside of this world. Even the winds echo only of Genessia and nowhere near Gensokyo."

Which is a rather troubling thing considering the lack of familiar people around them and how they are probably going to be sorely missed if they can't get back soon.

"It sounds like we won't be able to get back to Youkai Mountain for a while..." Hopefully she won't get in trouble for neglecting her duties. Aya seems to be keeping up her usual work despite the circumstances.

"Honestly? I doubt there's even a way to get back at this point. Everyone here who had been brought here don't know of a way back."

Aya shrugs as she sighs softly. Something like this was always way too troublesome to go through.

"So what, you're just going to live here for the rest of your life? I didn't know you were the type to give up that easily."

Oh, Aya, if only your determination could be directed towards something other than spreading dodgy information.

"Don't put words in my mouth, Momiji! I still intend to try and get back to Lord Tenma. It's just being a slow process and I'd like to try ways that won't leave me crippled first."

Like not trying to fly full speed into the force field that separates one city from another. After trying pushing at it normally, she isn't sure she wants to test what happens if she hits it with inertia.

"Why are you suddenly bringing up getting crippled? Did that happen already?"

"Thankfully no. But one idea I thought of was trying to fly through the forcefield that surrounds the various cities. Touching it drains you though, so I don't know if it's possible, and if I hit it at full speed...well...I don't like considering the possibilities."
