[text/action] Job questions and... a bear near the Bay?
Are the bounties worth doing? It seems that once someone claims one other things pop up to be taken care of.
Was wondering. Working at the grocery store really isn't giving me much.
[Lately there has been someone watching the Bay constantly in the afternoon and night. An almost constant if you were paying attention to the streets around the area. The culprit? A small bear, usually hanging around a corner in the shadows.
This has been going on for a few weeks now. The bear usually ignores people passing by. Though, it does raise the question. Why is the bear there instead of a more wild area? It's no bigger than a cub so maybe it's lost. Yet... it doesn't act lost at all. Still, maybe someone should do something about that.
Later in the night, the bear eventually just falls asleep watching the Bay as it often does.]

Action;
[Chara changing now to point to his ears.]
Just what are you doing?
Action;
Growl... this place is strange, didn't think cats could do that, too.
[Though.]
I'm waiting for Kureha. She'll show up here eventually, probably. If she does she'll show up where all the new arrivals do.
Action;
[And that's the reason...]
So you're waiting for someone who may or may not show up...
How long have you been doing this for?
Action;
So you're a special cat?
[Beat.]
Kureha will show up. I just have to wait. [Another beat.] I've been doing this every day since I got here.
Action;
You could say that. It's my would-be self.
Every day...? [There's a sigh there.] You can't keep doing this every day. I understand that you want to see your friend again, but to do this everyday isn't good for your health.
: Action;
[She watches change for a moment, curiously. She even stands on her hind legs for a moment to sniff at Yoru before settling back down.]
Kureha is important. I'll do it for as long as I can.
[She once camped in one spot for eleven years so she could see her again. This was nothing.]
Action;
Yo! Nya~
[Pointing to him. She seemed to have seen him anyways.]
They're born from what we want to become.. From those desires. Once you either become who you want to be or just simply grow up and forget, they'll disappear.
[And then just listening to that.... He couldn't help but sort of think about his own stance with Amu.... He couldn't help that sigh...]
If they're that important, at least let me help. I don't think you should be out here constantly. I'll be sure to let you know if I see them.
What are they like?
[Was he offering his assistance because she sort of reminded him a bit of himself? Or just because it was the right thing to do? Ikuto wasn't really as much of an asshole as he was made out to be half the time.... Just being socially awkward normally sort of made it seem like it...]
Action;
[It seems to be a greeting to that.. thing. She's not sure what to think about Yoru but then again, even in her own world bears weren't supposed to have human shape. Maybe she shouldn't judge.]
So...it's like making a wish. They show you what you want. [She backs up a little. Just so she doesn't bump into him as she shifts back into human form. It's not exactly flashy--one moment the bear was there and then it was just a teenager sitting on her knees. She glances at her (now human) hand, stretching out her fingers.] I think I understand how that is.
[If she wasn't born a bear then none of this trouble would have happened. Wasn't that what she thought for so many years? She glances back at him.]
Kureha wears a uniform like me; blonde hair with blue eyes. [She looks away slightly. Then firmly back at him.] She's a kind person. Brave. Even if the Storm hates her for being friends with me--
[She stops, eyes widening for a brief moment. She had remembered something that made her grimace with shame.] There's someone else the Storm would be looking for, too! I was so worried about Kureha that I had forgotten. I wasn't the only bear Kureha knew, growl growl. There's Lulu, too, but I don't know what happened to her before I came here.
Action;
[Taking in the information, he kept a mental note to keep a look out.]
What happened to her before coming here and before you lost track of her?
Action;
[She makes a note of it.]
It was a few days before I came here. ['Just don't leave me behind!'] We had an argument.
