I come from a world where there aren't exactly any non-humans, so sorry if this has been asked a million times, but:

How many non-humans are there here? What kinds of non-humans? Is this really common in most peoples' worlds? Do any of you have to like.. hide? What and how do you eat?

[ No, any more specific than that it'll seem questionable. She just needs information though. And maybe to not feel quite so alone sitting in a morgue with not enough bodies in it to make her feel comfortable that she's going to be okay the whole time. ]

Back home, not here. It doesn't seem like there's much need to hide that sort of thing here, if the vampire running for office means anything.

Well, I used to be an angel trainee, but now I'm a fallen angel.

But I guess that still don't exactly count for human. In my world, I spent a good amount of time in the Netherworld where demons and other creatures are normal there, so there's no reason to really hide it. It's pretty out in the open.

I'm human, but in our world we have tall human-like creatures called titans that have overrun our world and are extremely dangerous.

[Which also eat people, so that's a thing.]

They don't really hide because not many of them really have too much intelligence, but there are a few that do. Although, we always lived within really tall walls to protect humanity the best we could.

Well... Al Bheds are more of a race rather than not being human, but we used to have to sort of hide a little ourselves before The Calm came. Now we're able to be more open with who we are.

Although we do have other kinds of creatures around. The Ronso don't have a need to hide, but the Guado have sort of been forced into hiding; Although that was mostly due to their own wrong doings and they kind of had it coming to some degree.

If it isn't too personal, did you do something to get kicked out or did you literally fall?

Titans. Like Mnemosyne, Hyperion, Cronus..? [ She kind of trails off because she really doesn't know all of their names. Vague memories of a meal past did not a genius make. ]

I guess I should've specified sentient non-humans. We still have things like dogs and cats and killer whales. None of which have overrun the world thankfully.

Well... Technically yes? But I was doing what I thought was right and.... it was a complicated situation. There was a lot that happened and a corrupt angel that sort of made things complicated. Then again, I guess helping out demons -- regardless of not really wanting any violence in the process -- didn't really help my case though.

I'm sorry, I'm not really sure who those are. Titans are... well... They basically exist to eat people. Some people want to think that their reason to exist is to kill us all, but I think it's more to do with the need to eat.

Why did you have to hide yourselves? What did the Guado do?

Are they demons because they're evil or is that a species thing too?

[ She's already learned easily that not all 'bad creatures' are bad people. She's not, after all. ]

They're Titans from a myth in my world. A bunch of giants that were overthrown by gods or something. But.. if it's about the need to eat, it makes sense. Sometimes people can't help what they need to eat to survive. Not that it justifies killing humans- it absolutely doesn't.

Al Bheds were sort of looked down upon as lesser beings in a sense for a long time, but we've been able to gain more rights I guess you could say over the past few years and people have come to actually depend on us more than they used to.

The Guado though... Well.. To keep things short and sweet... Before the Calm came when Sin was finally defeated.... Yevon always liked to.... [She has to pause for a moment.] Well actually... No... Yevon still likes to keep secrets.

Well, there was a person in a pretty lofty position named Seymour. He was a Guado, but the way he ran things... He was very corrupt. Naturally, most of the Guado followed his every order without questioning it and because of that during a time of hardships... they did some pretty corrupt things.

Honestly, I would have hoped that Yevon has changed since then, but they still have a knack for hiding secrets, spheres, and weapons for themselves when spheres should be shared with all of Spira....

Well, there are bad seeds of course and it's pretty normal for demons to steal from others or fight for power, but it's mostly a species thing. I guess for some worlds the proper name for the Netherworld is technically Hell.

But despite what I've been told about demons being evil and being heartless, I still think demons are capable of love.

Oh, I see.... It's very well possible that it's connected to that, but we don't really have access to much of the outside world, so there's a lot of things I don't know about. I didn't even really know what cars were until I came here. I've also never seen the ocean, unless you wanted to count The Bay as a body of water.

The thing is.... all humanity has left are three walls and there are many people who don't really have much food or space. One of those walls have already been breached. Honestly, in my opinion, I doubt we'll ever really be able to survive to actually see the world without titans.

Sympathy sort of flies out the window when you see your friends, comrades, and family die every day in astonishing numbers; Especially when you get the honor to watch them ate right in front of you.

Sorry, but spheres?

I'm sure even the worst people can fall in love. I was more asking if they're all like typical demons-bad-evil or if there are good demons too.

Oh! Right. In my world, we have things called spheres that record information or videos. It's a way to document Spira's past or really whatever is important. Sphere hunters used to track down spheres and then donate them so that all of Spira could further understand our past, but there are personal uses for them as well.

[She got up for a moment to search for something and came back with one that was given to her here ages ago.]

It was something like this, although I got this one from here so it's not quite the same.

Isn't there a port in Fayren? I haven't gone there yet, but there's one marked on the maps.

Back when I was still a trainee before I was sent on my mission, everyone always talked about how demons were all evil and they were all bad people and it goes on, so you were always expecting bad things. Sure they have their things that they do, but I learned through my travels that they're not nearly as bad as people made them out to be. There are some good demons and there are some bad ones. They're... just like people really.

Laharl-san's father is a bit vain and full of himself like most demons are, but I've also learned that he's generally a good guy and he really means the best. He ruled as Overlord and had to be tough or strict sometimes, but he's not as bad as some of the demons out there.

There might be. I guess I didn't know about it, but somehow going to it now without Eren here anymore doesn't seem right. I'd... like to go with both Eren and Armin, though Armin is here yet.

It's just how our life is. I've always been surrounded by death, so being here is... it's different. I'm not used to this freedom to do what I want besides work. I'm so used to fighting whether it be to stay alive and stay fed or actually fighting titans. You didn't really have time to just be a kid and you had to grow up faster than most kids would have to. So I'm glad to see that there are other worlds that allow kids to be kids.

I'll protect that innocence if I can.

No they don't. I got this from some special drawing, so it was a one time thing. Still, it was very important back home. We were actually trying to find a friend because we saw a sphere of what looked like him.

What we didn't expect is to find out that "New Yevon" is still hiding secrets. In one of the spheres we found, we found out that there is a giant machina -- basically a machine -- that is most definitely a weapon and hidden under Yevon's biggest city itself.

I've found that there are worlds where gods live, they aren't exactly human themselves and that was an interesting time I had.

But there are probably other worlds out there filled with different people who aren't human. Vampire, angels, demons. I'm sure there are many more and it's interesting. Not sure they keep themselves hidden though.

In my world, he just had vampires and for the most part vampires weren't known. However vampires and people do coexist, it's just most people don't know about it.

There was some fumbling before the video flicked on, showing a girl with light green hair and green eyes that seemed to glow from within. A very organic looking blue sphere was hovering juts barely in frame. It looked like an eye.

Actually, she looked a lot like that Satori Komeiji that was running for election in Fayren...

"Hello Miss! I'm Koishi Komeiji. I'm not human either!" That much was clear. And if te last name meant anything, she was related to Satori. "Where I come from all the non humans live in little pocket worlds away from the normal humans. Because the world doesn't have a place for us anymore."

"Sis and I are satori youkai. Most youkai either feed on immaterial things or are carnivorous or can just eat anything. We can eat anything! We live underground with the other youkai that other youkai don't really like."

Makes sense. How do they feed though, I mean, don't most demons eat like.. souls?
