[VIDEO/REACTIONS] The People Have Spoken!

WHO: The Komeiji Sisters and YOU
WHAT: A public broadcast to react to
WHEN: 12:09AM after the polls close
WARNINGS: Cuteness and silliness
IMPORTANT NOTE: This was written by both muns.

Satori appeared on video feed once again. This time, she's set up in a similar room in Chireiden in which she'd done her previous video sessions. The intricate stonework, tiles and wooden paneling were merely window dressing to the ornate chair she was seated on, posture straight and all three eyes forward. For a moment, she adjusted the camera in order to steady it, while her third eye peered around the room. Her next words flowed straight out of her, as if this speech entirely came naturally to her.

"My apologies to the more diurnal of my viewers, but I feel I must offer my thoughts to all of you. I am honoured that you've chosen to continue your support, and have allowed me to take this step to becoming Fayren's Guardian. Of note, I must mention: Mewtwo, Satsuki Kiryuin, her entourage, and all people whose open minds allowed them to put their support behind me."

"But, as I've said: The opening of one's eyes is not an easy process, forgive the metaphor. It will take time to adjust to my new duties, and I trust there will be ample time Fayren to adjust in turn, in my efforts to establish order and uncover the truth. Last but not least, I have one more I'd like to thank. I wouldn't be in this situation at all if it weren't for my sister, the nearest to my heart-..." There's a quite a bit of noise in the background, actually, that Satori's actively attempting to draw attention away from-

"Sis?" Koishi's voice drifted into the room followed by the sleepy floating of a youkai who was very ready for bed, dressed in a rather plain nightdress. "I was gonna sleep early. I've been up for three days so I'm about due for a few hours of rest..." She was a youkai after all. She didn't need much sleep. Or maybe it was just Koishi.

Oddly enough her third eye was open a sliver, hovering rather low. She paused, blinking against he phone's light, the inner light gradually returning to her eyes. "Who are you talking to?"

Satori's calm expression broke for only a moment, turning to her altogether sleepy and incredibly ill-timed sister. Her third eye even did a half turn, followed by a slightly peeved side-glance. "...K-Koishi, I'm a little busy right now." She gently waved her hand as if to shoo her away. "Could you please..." Satori looked rather tense as she noticed it was still filming... "...save this for later, and sleep?"

Koishi blinked, rubbing one eye. "Mm? Save what for later? Did something happen?" She sounded a little more awake but not really too concerned yet.

Satori's eyes, all three of them, visibly narrowed to slivers... "Koishi, this is a public broadcast..." She let out a deep sigh, shaking her head. After a moment, she let out a faint laugh... "I was about to thank you for everything you've done...but that's pointless, isn't it? You really have the best timing..."

Koishi still looked puzzled, walking over to Satori's chair and setting her chin on the back, looking down at the phone, tilting her head a bit.

"You'll have to stay as calm as you can for this..." The elder youkai added, knowing that her next sentence would make this virtually impossible. Satori leaned back in her chair, turning her head to face Koishi. She'd have to be blunt with her. "...I'm speaking because we've /won/, Koishi. The polls are in. And without you, I'd have never even made it as far as I have-"

"You won!?" Again the elder Komeiji was cut off. Instantly elated and no longer sleepy, the little Koiball zipped forward and snatched the phone from Satori, taking to the air and spinning around. "Ah! Thank you! Thank you everyone who voted for my sister! I bet she'll do the best job ever! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! And-" Koishi babbled for another few seconds before she bumped into something, sending both herself and the phone toppling to the ground. The screen went black for now, though it appeared the phone was merely face down rather than actually broken.

"Oops!" An audible giggle. "Sorry Sis." She was fine.

When the phone was finally recovered it centered back on Satori, Koishi standing behind the chair, hopping up and down a little excitedly, her artery twisted into a very defined heart.

Recovering her poise, Satori added, as if she'd planned this from the start...even if she hadn't. "People of Fayren, and where ever you all might be watching. My sister, Koishi Komeiji." She smiled, faintly, through it all. "On behalf of us boths: Sleep well, and sleep soundly. Your saftey and peace of mind will be assured." With that, the video feed switched off, cutting out on a split-second of Satori shutting the videophone off while trying to pacify her sister as best she could...

[The vampire's voice is calm, collected, and honestly slightly cheerful. She doesn't seem angered by this turn of events, rather it seems almost like she expected it. She's even got a little smile on her face that, for once, isn't entirely mocking.]

I do wonder how many of the people who gave you their votes realized what they were getting themselves into. I don't believe many of the people in this city are familiar with your kind. Furthermore, I did not believe you to be the type to seek out so much attention. Was it, perhaps, not your doing? Regardless, I suppose what is done is done. It is nice to know that my vote did not go to waste.
